YES! I would buy this again!
great product. it makes so much i had PLENTY left over. ive never had this with any other bleaching product. i have shoulder length hair. it easily covered my whole head for sure. if youre bleaching your hair, the worst thing that can happen is you run out of product and you have to try and smush some out from the hair youve already covered. the bleach is so reliable too. no patchiness. im glad i bought this. my only complaint is I WISH IT CAME WITH ITS OWN TONER TOO!! my hair had a yellow tone so i had to go to sallys and buy toner and bleach to get rid of it.
Best Home Bleach
This is great for bleaching your own hair or if you have a very loving partner willing to help like me but either way it worked great. I have blue hair and my hair lightened very quickly. I recommend their hair color too, great stuff.
Natural auburn ha
I bought this after being told it's nearly impossible to get my natural red to lift. It didn't get me to a true blonde within 25 min but it did get me to a level 3/4 without damaging my hair. I'd highly recommend this brand to a beginner. Just make sure your understand and follow the directions.
BEST BLEACH EVER
I've used a lot of bleach products and this one has been the best! The smell can be very strong yes, however I have really dark hair and it lightened it all the way. I did have to use it a couple times at first but it brought me all the way blonde and now i just touch up my roots with it and it's perfect!
THE BEST!!!
Did absolutely zero damage to my hair and lightened my hair like a dream!! Literally GET THIS BLEACH ITS MWAH
Good!
I won't lie, 40 volume is a bit scary, and I've seen horror stories from people who use it. However, this set was great on my hair. My hair is a dark brown, so I was worried it wouldn't lighten in the amount of time suggested, but 30 minutes in and I'm blonde! While some parts of my hair didn't get bleached, that was more due to application errors by myself. I would definitely buy it again. Just remember, always do a test strand!! Mine came out great, but everyone's hair is unique.
pretty great
I have a lot of hair and it bleached the majority of it well. however, some of the hair close to my roots didn't take the bleach that well. besides that i do recommend this bleach. worked way better than other brands.
it works
idk what i'm doing but it lifted color and i'm happy with it. there's also so much of it lol it's nice
Best ever
I've used different brands of bleach and this the best one I've ever used. My hair usually comes out dark yellow color, but this made my hair a pale yellow. I love it.
Best Bleach I've Used
I've been bleaching my hair since 2010 and most brands have a very strong scent, eye watering really, they get foamy and dry as it sits in the bowl, and leaves my hair yellow. Since I always color over it that's not usually a huge deal but still annoying. This did NONE of that. I could actually breathe while applying, it stayed nice an creamy the entire time, and my roots were WHITE. Like platinum white. I wish I could buy this is bigger sizes!!

How To Use
Prep:
- Lime Crime suggests doing a strand test prior to full head application of the hair lightening kit.
- Put on a pair of old clothes or protective apron and wear gloves included in kit (Note: Bleach will stain clothing).
- Making sure your hair is unwashed, dry, and combed through.
- Part hair down the center into two sections and then divide hair into four sections: two sections on top of and two on bottom.
Mixing:
- Mix one-part bleach to two parts developer in a plastic, ceramic, or glass bowl. Do not use a metal bowl or utensils.
- Stir until there are no clumps, and the mixture is consistent.
Application:
- Using a tinting brush, start at the back where hair is thickest work into small sections from the crown of your head down. Make sure each section is fully saturated.
- Wait 5-10 minutes and finish off your roots last, staying 1 inch away from the scalp. The bleach will expand and lighten the rest.
- Pin up your hair and wait 30-45 min if you are using the 20 vol developer or 15-20 min if you are using the 40 vol developer. Paying close attention to the condition of your hair while it is processing. The bleach will warm and may tingle the scalp. This is normal.
- Rinse hair thoroughly with cool water and ensure that all product has been washed out. Follow with Lime Crime's Unicorn Hair Universal Shampoo and Conditioner.
- Don't use conditioner if you plan on coloring your hair using semi-permanent Unicorn Hair Full Coverage or Tints after bleaching.
Note: If you have virgin (non-colored) hair, leave your roots till the end. Start the application process at mid-length and ends first then wait 5-10 minute before going back to do your roots.
