The best shampoo for frizz free hair

My must have shampoo! I love the No Frizz line from Living Proof as these products truly tame my hair and keep it smooth. The key for me is the frizz control, humidity shield, and smoothing benefits. Using this shampoo my hair is more manageable overall— during styling and after. It's smoother, lays without flyaways or frizz, and the blowout lasts! Bonus too that the shampoo works for general cleaning and removes any product buildup. It's gentle on your hair and scalp, and it doesn't over dry out your strands. I've used it with the associated conditioner, but many times I use this alone— since it helps balance hair moisture, following with a conditioner isn't always necessary (for me) as with other shampoos that dry out your hair. Love the formulation and that it's made with safe ingredients and designed to keep your hair healthy and frizz free.

Worth the price

I love this shampoo! It always makes my hair feel clean and soft. The only downside is that it has a slight chemical smell, whereas I personally prefer a more "floral" scent. It is not overpowering, just my personal opinion. It's pricey, but worth it

The new formula is nothing like the old… in a bad way!

UGH, why did they have to change the formula?! Now the shampoo is a different color, lighter fragrance and does not foam up. While showering I had to look at the bottle 3 times to make sure it was not conditioner. All it did was make my hair greasy. The conditioner acted the same way. I used to use a dime size of shampoo for my long hair. This time i tried much much more, still no lather. I ended up having to wash my hair with husbands shampoo to get living proof out of my hair. Unfortunately this will be going back to ulta. Living proof has lost this long term customer. Unfortunately there are no samples of their other product lines that can be sent to see if theres some other product i could use. Living proof customer service number is a joke, they dont answer their phone and mailbox is always full.

No Lather

I have thick, long, frizz prone hair and had high hopes for this shampoo but unfortunately it didn't meet my expectations. There was zero lather, the shampoo just absorbed straight into my hair. When it dried, it felt like straw. Disappointed.

Best Results for Frizz

I would purchase this product again. I've tried many shampoos for dry thick curly frizzy hair and they all dissapoint. Right now LIVING PROOF is doing what I've been looking for - giving my stubborn hair better results.

Disappointed

I have bleach blonde hair and have always been a huge fan of pureology hydrate line. I wanted to try out something for frizz. It smells great but does not lather well at all. I will be returning and buying more pureology.

Returning... Tried it once and horrible results

I used this once and woke up this morning to find a bunch of residue/build up near my hair line ... This shampooer did not feel like it cleaned my hair at all, no lather to it and so I felt I had to use a lot of the product to clean my hair. Very disappointed with the results and will now be washing my hair again with a different shampoo.

Only tried it once

When I washed with the product my hair was noticeably less "bulky" feeling, but when it dried I still had the same frizz. I've only tried it once so maybe I need more applications to see better results.

Super disappointed

I ordered this for the first time and was super disappointed. My hair is thick and wavy but also fine. I can usually go at least two days with other shampoos…this made me want to wash it as soon as I finished styling it!! It feels like I have a ton of product buildup on my hair now.

Good

I have wavy, frizzy & dry hair so I was looking for something that would help me to make them more manageable and this product did this! My hair is soft and smells really nice! I would recommend this product!

I would not buy this product again

I bought this product with hopes of it fixing my frizzy hair. HUGE MISTAKE. It made my hair greasier, my scalp more flakier and now I have this weird buildup on my roots. I had problems with a flaky irritated scalp before but this product made it worse. Please think twice about buying this product.

Used to be the best, but new formula is garbage

This has been my go to shampoo for years. I didn't care about how expensive it was because it lasted forever and worked wonders for my hair. I ordered 2 bottles a few weeks ago and noticed the "new and improved" sticker. After using it several times, I'm done! It's nothing like it was. There's no lather..you have to use a half a bottle to feel like you have covered all your hair. I won't pay what this costs to go through shampoo this fast and it doesn't work anyway. My daughter, who lives at college, also noticed this without me mentioning it at all, saying that her hair has build up at the roots and never feels clean. So why fix something that isn't broke, LP??? We had a good thing going, but looks like it's time to break up after all these years.

Trouble Opening the Large Bottle

I love this shampoo but couldn't open the large bottle at first. I guess I was lucky when I opened the conditioner. Turn the top counter clockwise to open. They should really add a turn this way to open thing on there. I was frustrated my first and second use and just unscrewed the whole top before googling it.

Smells nice but doesn't lather

I have thick, wavy, frizzy hair. I have to use a ton of this product to get it through to my roots. It doesn't lather much at all. Maybe that makes it gentler on the hair? But I don't appreciate the greasy feeling on day 2 hair because I couldn't get it totally clean. I also think this product is giving me cystic acne on my scalp even though it's not supposed to. For the price, it's just not worth it. It smells good, but I don't smell it in my hair when it air dries.

not for thick hair

i heard great reviews about this shampoo & i have very thick wavy hair. however it didn't lather very well & it was really hard to wash the back of my hair since the shampoo just wouldn't wash my scalp.

if you have thin hair i'm sure this product would work for you but if you have thick hair please look for another product.

Doesn't Lather

I don't understand why this doesn't lather, I've tried Living Proof Restore and this one both don't lather at all making it very hard to get in between my roots and dry out of my hair REALLY bad. Won't be repurchasing any Living Proof products anymore, I hate how difficult it is to find a good shampoo that moisturizes, detangles and lathers without stripping away hair or shedding like crazy.

I will not repurchase

I have thin frizzy hair that has also been dyed. I used both the shampoo and conditioner for around 4 -5 months. This shampoo did not help my frizz in the slightest and made my hair very dandruffy. What a waste of money I honestly did not notice any positive change in my hair. I also bought the conditioner and I don't think it did anything to my hair.

Go back to old formula

Someone wrote a review a few weeks back, and they were spot on. The new and improved shampoo will not lather my whole head. And I have short hair. I tried putting more in my hair, and it still didn't lather. That's when I noticed the new and improved sticker on the bottle. Please go back to original formula.
