Get the conditioner, not the shampoo

How is the formula for the shampoo so much worse and different than the conditioner? Drug store shampoo would leave my hair feeling better than this. Get the conditioner—it changed my life. Skip this shampoo.

Favorite Shampoo

I went on vacation to Mexico and this saved my hair! The salt water, sun, and resort pool did a number on my hair and this shampoo + conditioner duo kept my hair soft, healthy, and shiny. I can't recommend this shampoo enough. I use it exclusively at home because of how much it has helped my highlighted hair.

Saved my hair on vacation!

This shampoo literally saved my hair on vacation. Being from the PNW, my hair was NOT ready for the humidity or salt water in Cancun. The LP Restore shampoo and conditioner duo kept my hair strong, soft, and healthy throughout the trip and back home! I can't recommend this enough!

The vote is still out..

Great signature LP peppery wonderful smell. I chose this because I have extensive bleach damage and hoping to restore some moisture and resilience. Unfortunately I'm not seeing signs of that yet, though it might takes months before that is visible. Willing to stick it out and come back!

I would or will buy this shampoo again. I love it!

This is perfect when I travel. I normally use Biolage shampoo color care. But this is great for color treated hair. It seems to repair my damaged, dry hair. I've colored my hair for 30 years. Also has a nice citrus smell!

EXTREME HAIR LOSS

I cannot even begin to explain how terrible this profuct is. I literally used to have such medium- thick hair and my hair is falling out with a slight touch, from the ROOT. I didnt start using this product until 3 weeks back and since i have long and thick hair, i only wash my hair 1-2 times a week. With just a couple washes, my hair is falling out like crazy. I cannot emphasize this more.. DO NOT BUY!

I have been using this product since July and it is now O

ctober and hair fall out has become more and more. At first it was great, I bought it originally to help with my dry scalp. I noticed immediately it helped with my dry scalp and itching. Around August I noticed that when I was showering more hair was falling out then usually. I thought maybe i was dealing with a hormonal change or change in water pressure since I was traveling alot for an internship over the summer. Now, October and I just got out of the shower and started to cry there was so much hair fall out this time, it was a full clump. I googled it and sure enough, others have had the same experience I had. I wish I would have looked it up sooner ): I don't have hair loss in my family and would consider myself having semi thickness hair, and I am a 25 year old female. I have never had issues until this product.

Not for me

I have color-treated, fine hair. I regularly use a different high end shampoo and conditioner and take very good care of my hair. I tried this shampoo and conditioner about 3 times with poor results.

The shampoo doesn't lather well, seems watery, and I had to use a lot more than I am accustomed to. When I rinse my hair it immediately feels tangly and sandpaper rough. The conditioner barely addresses the dryness and when I comb my hair out, hair feels so dry and piles of hair come with it.

There isn't much I like about the product and I had high hopes for it. I like and use other Living Proof products but this particular product is a no for me.

I was excited to try, but didn't get great results

It smells great, but left my hair feeling very oily, flat & unmanageable. I did use it a total of 4 washes & I just didn't like the results. I thought I needed a restorative product for my fine/thinning hair but I think this product was doing too much for my hair.

NEW HAIR

I absolutely love this product! I was skeptical because of the price but it is so WORTH it. i have damaged hair, and i mean DAMAGE and both the shampoo and conditoner made my hair look healthy! Feels smooth and looks shiny. Even when I wear my natural curls too.
