Living Proof Travel Size Restore Perfecting Spray

This is my second purchase of this spray.

This is the best restoring and heat protection spray I have ever used. It leaves my hair really soft and shiny without weighing it down. When I use a flat iron or curling iron my hair actually gets shinier and softer as if the heat activates something in this spray. My hair isn't breaking off nearly as much as it used to before using this spray.

No. Just no.

I reordered my Living Proof Full Conditioner and this came as a free sample with the order. NOPE. I tried it for the first time today on damp hair and somehow my hair instantly felt brittle and dry. I usually use It's a 10 and I would highly recommend that product over this.

Does the exact opposite

Every single time I've tried to use this as a pre-blow drying heat protectant spray (four separate times now) it's made my hair EXTREMELY tacky feeling & tangly, unable to run my fingers through it, not even an inch. I've never used a pre-styling spray product that did this. When I try to run my fingers through it, it feels as if I've used an entire bottle of texture spray already all throughout my hair. For reference: I have long, blonde, fine hair, and LOTS of it. After I wash & blow dry it, I can run my fingers clear through it easily even though I have a ton of hair. Usually I can't do any styling (curling/waving) til the second or third day bc it just won't hold since the hairs too soft. With every other pre-blow drying spray product I've used, my hair was soft like usual. This one was exactly the opposite. Like I said earlier, after you use this it feels like what your hair feels like when you have a massive amount of texturizing products built up in your hair: tacky, tangly, not soft, & causing yelps of pain when you unsuccessfully attempt to run your hands/fingers through it. The product I usually use is expensive, Davines OI All In One Milk, so I try to try new ones like this living proof one, but always end up going back to the Davines one. Drop this one & run don't walk to the Davines spray!

I have been trying to find a detangling spray for my hair and have tried many. Well, I have found my spray. Its great, spray and comb, no knots.. It also smells great. Made my hair feel very soft. Will buy again.

Literally does nothing.

I don't understand why all the positive reviews. This Restore spray does absolutely NOTHING for my hair. I have baby fine highlighted long hair; It does not detangle at all, my hair felt dry and I had a bunch of frizz on my ends after using. I've retried it several times and nope, same result. It's so bad! I will stick with my Pureology Strength Cure Miracle Filler leave-in spray, that one does an amazing job at detangling and smoothing my hair. This stuff is no better than expensive water.

Not for me

I have fine to medium shoulder length hair and I wanted to love this product. I just can't. It creates this build up on my roots and leaves my hair looking so greasy that I just want to wash it again. This is a hard no for me and I will be returning it.

Please don't waste your money on this tiny trial size. just get the full size, it's a much better value. if you don't like it return it.

smells amazing

works pretty good, makes your hair smoother. had a sample of this and had been using it on my dry hair and it worked great (and smells amazing). So, I bought a regular sized bottle and actually read the directions, and you are supposed to use it on damp hair......so. will soon see how it works on damp hair how it's supposed to be used-probably will work even better!

Absolutely!

I use this product in my hair after I get out of the shower. I'm usually not able to get a brush through my hair but with this product I can. Unfortunately I just can't afford The shampoo and conditioner to go with it. But the spray is amazing!

Eh.. I tried

I genuinely wanted to like this product. I tried using different amounts, spraying on my hands to distribute through my hair, only using it when my hair is really wet, etc. My hair soaks up product really easily and this somehow made my hair feel sticky whether I used a hair dryer or air dried. I tried switching my shampoo/conditioner thinking I had a rinse issue leaving residue, but nope. It's definitely this. I do like how it smells and it does detangle very well initially, but I just can't get past the sticky tangly feeling. Since it wasn't cheap I'll be using it when my hair is going up in braids or a bun just for detangling after the shower.
