Living Proof Travel Size Restore Shampoo

Good

I bought it for my daughter to restore her hair after colorization. This product works great, made my daughters hair super soft, manageable and shiny. Cleans & smells good. I would recommend this product!

I wanted to love this!

Honestly, this product had my curls looking the best they have ever looked - no frizz at all! BUT I experienced SO much hair loss and still haven't recovered from it. The first time I tried the product, I wasn't sure if it was this specifically, but when I went back to it several months later and experienced the same thing, I am sure. Which is incredibly disappointing. I was using the shampoo, conditioner and curl defining gel.

spectacular!!

The Living Proof Restore Shampoo + Conditioner combination has been absolutely FANTASTIC for my damaged color-treated hair. Normally, my hair is quite strong, especially before I dyed it... but since dying it, it's been coarse, dry, and damaged. The shampoo is clarifying but not drying, volumizing my strands without drying them out. The conditioner really seals the cuticles of each strand of hair, making it soft, manageable, and healthy. 10/10, thank you!

Didn't work for me

While this shampoo effectively cleansed my scalp, it left my hair feeling dry and lifeless. Also, more hair seemed to be falling out in the shower and in my wet brush than usual. For the price, these results were especially disappointing.

Hair Shedding/Loss?

This review is pretty much for the whole Restore line of products. I first used the Leave in Spray and repair leave in cream. i literally went through 2 whole bottles of each and LOVED them. I thought, why not try out the whole line? I was able to get a holiday set with a full size bottle of each shampoo, conditioner, and the hair mask. I used the system once a week, for about 3-4 weeks. Usually I won't judge a product like this based on 3-4 uses only, but while my hair did feel "normal" (not overly dry, or oily), my hair had significantly less volume. i also noticed more hair was starting to come out when I brush my hair than normal. I did stop using this, and have noticed less hair fallout. I'm not sure I would recommend the shampoo, conditioner, and hair mask. I'd rather still use the leave in spray and cream.

Lovely product

I'm familiar with this brand so expectations were high for the shampoo, and it did not disappoint. I am usually very picky with shampoo or anything that goes on my strands because I have such oily hair, but this was a great shampoo. It is a bit on the pricey side, but if you want to splurge this is a quality shampoo.

Clean!

Using Restore shampoo and conditioner plus the Living Proof Dry Scalp treatment. My hair looks and feels great! I have sensitive scalp and am prone to buildup and dandruff. Next day after washing my hair looks fresh, great texture and volume , and clean! These products together are a game changer! Also used Olaplex No 7.

Irritated Scalp

I don't really have sensitive skin, but this shampoo leaves my scalp feeling horrible. Dry, itchy, bumpy, and flaky. I hate to waste the bottle, so I use it every now and then, but every time is the same story. No thank you

Didn't work for me!

It's a nourishing shampoo and I love that it doesn't strip my hair, it lathers easily. I've been using it after working out and it gently cleans my scalp. It doesn't leave a greasy or heavy sensation afterwards.

I really love how nicely and subtle scented. The packaging is minimalist and luxurious, I like that the bottle is easy to squeeze.

In my case, I've chemical treated, thick, wavy hair and I didn't notice much improvement . I expected more to be honest!

Great product

Great product! Loved the way it made my hair stronger. Didn't smoothen my hair as much as other shampoos so If you are looking for something to tame you might want to try something else. Overall really good product.
