Londontown Kur Gel Genius Top Coat

Disappointed

Thankfully I purchased this top coat on sale. I had had my eye on it for months. Unfortunately, I do not like this. Despite letting my nail polish dry for at least twenty minutes and floating the brush over my nail without letting the bristles drag, the bristles picked up the nail color and left brush strokes in the polish. Even when it didn't pick up the color underneath, you can still see brush strokes in the dried top coat when you look at different angles. I think it is because the shine is kind of dull.. I would use two coats if I really wanted a nice shine, but I've gotten better shine in less expensive top coats. The wear on this top coat is good, doesn't chip or peel quickly. However, I wouldn't recommend it since the look of it isn't good. I dread using it, but I don't want to waste it. May just leave it for my pedicures.

Perfect nail topper

Love this nail top coat! Its amazing! I became allergic to acrylics and gels. So I now do my nails at home with nail polish. I habe been looking for the perfect topper that lasts, gives that gel finish and doesn't cause shrinkage. This is definitely my go to top coat now! Love it!

Love the product and the shiny finish. all of the shiny good look of SNS and Gel, but with none of the damage! wish I had purchased sooner.

Pricey - BUT I love it!!

I recently have fallen in love with this brand. I really like this gel finish. It isn't too thick and applies evenly. Also, the smell isn't overpowering, which was my biggest complaint with their perfecting nail veil. This top coat dries fairly quickly and has kept the polish on my toes looking fabulous. Extremely happy with this top coat!!

Meh. I'll stick with Seche Vite

Wamted to love this. The shine fades after a few days, and it wears down faster than Seche Vite. I also think it's more prone to chipping than Seche Vite. So not a repeat purcjase for me.

It's an average top coat for me. It takes a long time to dry to the touch and even longer time to dry "hard." it doesn't offer me longer lasting polish. I'll get 1-2 days of wear before chips occur. I do dishes every day, and use hand sanitizer at work more than 40 times a day in addition to hand washing many times a day. I work 5 days a week in a clinic and I type at work quite a bit, doing charting. So, maybe these are reasons why my polishes don't last. Even the gel polishes done at a salon won't last a week on me. As with all top coats that tout the gel polish shine - that's only the case immediately after application. After it dries down and hardens it looks like any other top coat to me - no plumping look of actual gel polish; no sustained shine like the actual gel.

Worth the money! Since I started using this I literally threw out my old opi top coat that didn't work well. Will continue to purchase this (even if I cringe over the price as i add to cart…)

Leaves a very shiny smooth finish and makes my mani last.

I'll never buy a different top coat again

Sure it's pricey, but this is the BEST top coat I've ever used. I'm getting longer than a week of polish without any chips. My nails are stronger and this gives my nails the appearance of a salon quality manicure.

Worth every penny

The best top coat ever - worth every penny in my opinion. I use with all my nail polish (not jsut kur brand) and it adds a gel like top coat that is long lasting. You won't be disappointed!

Definitely

I like pretty nails! But, regular polish chips in a day or two and I don't like the maintenance or cost of gel nails. Voila, this product is the perfect answer!!!!
