This did alright, but

This did alright, but there are some really big issues in my opinion. First, this box was not enough to die my thin, porous, shoulder length hair. I have never required two boxes, but I would have with this. Definitely keep in mind when purchasing. Second, the jug they give you for mixing is not appropriately large enough to mix in without spillage. Be sure to have a larger mixing bowl on hand (plastic only!) to use for your bleach mixing.

A favorite in our household of dyehards

This bleach is so easy to use. It comes with gloves and a cap so you really don't need anything additional. I have short hair and so does my spouse so we can usually get both of our hair bleached with one pack. I have almost black hair and this lifts it perfectly for bright colors! Does not break my hair or make it stringy. Takes about 30 minutes to lift on my head.

Works great!

I bought this because I knew that Manic Panic is a friendly name for people who want to start dying their hair. I have dark brown hair. It worked incredibly well and lifted my hair color to a light blonde.

It's easy to use and the instructions are very easy to understand.

Good if you want blonde hair, not platinum

Not for use if you want platinum WHITE hair however, I do like this product line. The mixing bowl it comes with is VERY small which makes it hard to effectively mix the product well, so I'd make sure you have your own bowl. Also, I like the brush, but if you have a lot of hair, I'd buy a bigger brush. Being 40Vol you need to work fast. I have long, thick, course, platinum hair. First application, I used 2 boxes on just my roots, let sit for 2 hours, and then washed out. I would not recommend 2hrs but I do not have a sensitive scalp, kept it fully saturated, bag over my head, kept checking it. I then had to use 2 toning masks (1 blue & 1 purple) for several hours each in my hair, & then rebleached my roots with 20vol, higher quality bleach. After that, I "Toned it" with a purple shampoo. & Now 2 weeks later I still have to buy toner for my roots. This is my first time using this bleach kit. Normally I only have to bleach & tone once within a week & I am done. I'm a product junkie so I thought I'd give it a shot! I will admit that to "normal people" they say my hair is white, but anyone who is platinum and picky like me, all you see is yellow LOL I would recommend this product but for VERY small outgrowth, touch ups, for blonde hair results (not white), or use prior to then coloring your hair a fun color :) I also would recommend this if you are someone who has hair that lifts fast (just careful with 40vol) or whose roots are lighter.

Great product, but make sure to get more than one box.

So I finally decided to part ways with my hair salon and start coloring my hair myself. I used this box kit to remove my previous color and it worked wonderfully. It comes with everything you could need. However, it comes with a very small amount of product. I have short hair, but I barely had enough to cover my full head. I had to ask a relative to get me a separate box of bleach while they were at the drugstore. If you have long hair, make sure to get more than one box.

I love Manic Panic,

I love Manic Panic, this is an excellent kit and it didn't irritate my scalp or fry my hair. I would definitely recommend it to anyone dying their hair. I just wish they made larger sizes, it is very small.

Best bleach I have ever used!

This is the best I have ever used. This was my first time using it, and I was hoping for a nice, even base to put my Enchanted Forest color on. It came out so even! It lifted my roots as well as the blue hair color I had on previously. I honestly could have left it blond it was so perfect. I plan on using this from now on and would recommend this product to anyone!

Not so health for

Not so health for hair but gets the job done lol, bleach color turns out good depending on hair color underneath. Directions are clean and easy to follow great kid for bleaching hair first time. Would buy again if I was in a hurry

Virgin African American Dreads

I love this product. The bowl is a bit tiny, as well as the brush but I went to the beauty supply and got bigger sizes. Worked super well on my dreads, was lifted to honey blonde in about 30 minutes. Make sure you get a neutralizing shampoo because this is very stubborn to get out.

These products are one

These products are one of my and my family's favorites for our curly hair. My wife and kids use it too and it keeps our hair from frizzy and dried up in this humid Florida weather and it defines our curls beautifully. I highly recommend the entire line of products. #f4f @ziguty

This That's the only

This That's the only thing I used to dye my hair blonde to clean the palette for my diet purple It works really really really well It doesn't make my hair fall out or stress my hair out It actually stays pretty soft and it pulls most of the color out so that you can put any other color on it and it holds pretty well And then when it fades out it paid so kind of silvery color.

Def did it's job. It was my first time bleaching my hair. I was super nervous! I've been using boxed black dye for years and wanted a change. Of course I didn't expect my hair to get super light but I was very impressed how light it did get.

This stuff will strip

This stuff will strip all the color out if your hair. If you have longer or thicker hair you may need to get multiple packs. My input for this product would be to add some type of conditioner. This product does completely take all color and can leave your hair feeling lifeless. Don't do too much to your hair in one day

This was so easy

This was so easy to use again it works fast so you need to move fast but over all it is not like your typical bleach box that after you use it ur hair feels all crunchy and grows After I used this my hair was fine yes it was damaged but if you take care of your hair after you will have no problems this is what my hair looked like when I was done

This product is extremely

This product is extremely high quality and the packaging is also really nice. I have been using this for a while now and don't have any issue or complaints. I would highly recommend this product to anyone!

Does the job, but includes false advertisment

The bleach itself does what it's supposed to (and works nicely, at that) but the box mentions using the "enclosed gloves" and "enclosed plastic cap," neither of which are, ironically, enclosed. No cap, no gloves. Luckily I opened the box to check the materials out before I intended on doing my hair and was able to purchase those items separately. Looking at the reviews, I'm clearly not the only person with this experience and I'm hesitant to trust Manic Panic as a brand again.

Awesome bleach

I LOVE THIS BLEACH!!! It works really well, and was really easy to mix and make. It lightened my hair to level 9 after two applications! (I have light brown hair) It really didn't damage my hair, which was really nice. Over all, awesome bleach and I would use it again.

There's nothing like a

There's nothing like a crisis turned hair bleach situation… and I turn to this reliable kit 4 times out of 5. This will get most jobs done the first time around… as long as your hair isn't too long.

I love this hair

I love this hair bleach. It's better to use it on small portions of the hair though. Like if you are doing highlights or just a small section. You want to saturate the hair in bleach and this box doesn't have alot in it. 40 volume also bleaches very fast so you will need to work fast to get all the all over you need it to go or the colors will be uneven.

Really user friendly, has

Really user friendly, has all the materials needed including a bowl and brush which is super helpful! Pretty good quality bleach and not as pungent of a smell as some other hair bleaches. Would definitely recommend.
