Surprisingly effective

I have BLACK hair! And I meant B L A C K!!! My hair dressers over the years, asian or not, all made comments about how black my hair is LOL

I never have luck trying to lighten my hair! I've bleached it couple times in my life, and every single time it ended with my scalp hurts or burns or my eyes just waters because of the fume no matter how/where/what they do, I do have pretty sensitive skin in general. But I was ok the whole process.

Recently after the pandemic, I have no really color my hair for a year, I just feel like changing it up without going to salon, so I figured I'll just try this.

I have thick hair slightly longer than shoulder length so I bought two boxes, and it's pretty good amount to cover everything.

20 minutes into it, my hair is already gotten so light I'm pleasantly surprised! But that also is kinda of a double edge sword cuz I have not done applying to my whole head which made it pretty uneven! But that's something I kinda know would've happened since I'm not a pro anyway! I'm hoping in a month when I do this the second time, when it's so light it'll be more even since they should be almost white.

My hair is rather healthy when I started with this, I can feel my hair gotten flat and don't have the bouncy-ness anymore after bleaching. Again, this is expected since no bleach is really good for any hair anyway. There's some breakage too but not too bad.

I do prep my scalp with oil and protection treatment well before going in, and I suggest everybody to do so, it won't hurt!

The best at home bleach kit!

My natural hair is dark brown. I have tried several at-home kits, from 20v to 40v, and this stuff is the best. I use half a box each month to touch up my roots (measured with a kitchen scale). My hair isn't any more damaged than pre-bleached, but I do recommend masking before and after every application.

Great product for lasting color

This bleach works extremely well with Manic Panic colors. The colors last much longer if you use this product, I found out the hard way that by using any other bleach my color didn't last nearly as long as it did using the Manic Panic bleach.

It's amazing!!

My hair is like 4c black hair and i kid you not, it lifted my hair to like a very light blond in under 15 mins. It's very effective and i think it's important to check it very often because some people say you need an hour while i only needed 15 mins!

The only bleach I use

This stuff is so easy to use and I love that it comes with instructions! If you don't use hair bleach very often, this is great and convenient to purchase when you need it. unless you have short hair, you'll probably need more than one box for your entire head. I use it for my roots and its perfect.

The best.

I've been bleaching and coloring my hair myself for the past 5 years. This kit is the easiest way to bleach that's currently on the market for home use. I was slightly worried the first time I bought it, because I had never used 40 volume developer before (20+ years ago when I bleached it at home for years, I just got the necessities separately at a beauty supply store)... you'll see a lot of hairdressers online saying "never use 40v yourself!". Well, I've been using this on my dark brown roots (therefore the rest of my hair is pre-lightened) for quite awhile now and I'm amazed because it's the least damaging bleach I've used! When I'm done and wash it out, strands of hair certainly don't fall out, and it has no affect on the already-bleached lengths of my hair (I don't apply it to that, obviously). I do soak my hair and scalp in coconut oil before bleaching; my advice would be to do that and keep an eye on your hair in a mirror, because it does work quickly. Don't fall asleep with bleach in your hair ;)

I listened to the reviews and bought this set since it was the highest rated out of all the bleaching sets and I'm so glad I did!! it doesn't have a strong odor at all! When you mix the powder and developer, it turns almost into a whipped texture. It was really easy to use and it lifted my hair a lot!! I didn't notice much damage either.

Definitely one of the

Definitely one of the best at home bleach kits I have used. Box contains everything you need (powder, developer, applicator, gloves, cap, and container to mix in). Hair can come out brassy after use so I highly recommend using a toner afterwards.

Absolutely works

I bought this stuff a few months ago deep in the depths of the lockdown. I have already got blond hair but it's a dirty blond. I put it on, no itch on the scalp or anything and it took me from dirty blond to Malfoy blond. Absolutely recommend! For a blond like me, it only took 10 minutes before I was ready to wash it out and it was perfect.

AMAZING

I was told I wouldn't be able to bleach it because my mom had used splat a long time ago and splat is horrible for your hair, bought two boxes cuz my hairs thick and it turned out amazing. I including a before and after along with the color I put in my hair. Def recommended!!

Great

first time I've ever bleached my hair. I should've applied it more evenly. it did bleach unevenly like in patches. however, I was very satisfied with the outcome. I have black/dark brown hair and it managed to bleach to platinum blonde in some spots. worth the $$$.

Best bleaching product out there! You get so much product and it does such a perfect job at lighting my hair!!! As someone who bleaches their hair very often, this is my go to! I absolutely recommend this to everybody.

This kit is so easy to use, I've repurchased it multiple times. I naturally have thick, dark hair and this works wonders. Easy to use, processes fast

Easy to use, will process fast. I'm used to the 30 volume kit so when I used this I had to be careful not to overprocess to a platinum blond- but it made the Plum Passion against brown hair look amazing, like an ombré!

Take your darks to lights

I did the thing you're not supposed to do and used this, without a professional's help, on colour treated hair. It turned my natural brown to blonde and my red to a (really neat, honestly) pastel peach. Even though I did it unwisely, it lightened my hair in such a way that the following colour took perfectly. Worked fast, did the job.

Worked Well

The bleach worked really well on my roots, and lightened the rest of my hair very well. However, even after stirring the mixture for about two minutes, it still was not the ideal consistency. After letting it sit for a minute, it thickened, but was still not the right texture. Still, the product works, and I recommend using the forty volume, then a ten or twenty volume to fully lighten your hair.

Lifted my hair at least 4 levels!

For hair background, its been on my head for 5 years. In those years its been dyed with black box dye, lifted with hair color remover, dyed with reds and purples, and was literally just a black box dye that had a hint to red to it. Im not aiming to go blonde, my goal was to lighten my hair enough to put some Ultra Violet on and give it a pop. I was skeptical because black box dye sucks to remove but I am actually left very impressed. I only had the bleach on for 35 minutes, and im sure I could've gone longer for a lighter color but I was satisfied enough. I shampooed twice and conditioned after, and my hair doesn't feel very damaged!

Effective, but small

This kit works fairly well, but the amount of product is not enough for a slightly less than shoulder length head of hair. I have used this kit twice and both times I experienced no damage. If you're a real beginner I think you'll like this kit. The same effect can be achieved more economically with a bottle of creme lightener and volume 40 developer.

Pretty decent

Bleach was a bit uneven, but I am unsure if it was just the application of my friend or the quality of the bleach! Super easy to mix, color lifted fairly easily. Overall pretty happy, and I will probably use this bleach again. I wish there was a smaller size to use, since I have a partially shaved head. I had lots left over, and I hate to waste but didn't really have any other option.

Went way better than

Went way better than I had anticipated. I went from violet to gray using this bleach kit. I highly recommend this product. I needed additional bleaching, but the result was great. I will use manic panic products again!
