This bleach kit works the best on my hair out of all the ones I have tried. My hair is dark brown/black, but this always gets it light enough to color. My only complaint is that all the times I've used it, it has bleached very unevenly. I've been able to cover this up for the most part. Just be aware that it could happen. All in all, I recommend.

its hair bleach and its gonna damage your hair! but it comes with everything you need. do you actually need 40 volume though? you should see if you can use a lower, less damaging strength if you can honestly. but yeah this stuff is able to bleach extremely thick, melanated asian hair to a bright white brittle crisp haha. not salon quality but 100% better than any other box bleach you find at the drugstore.

This is probably one of the best bleaching kits I've used.now I have a shaved undercut so I don't need to use much but it lightened me pretty fast with very little brassines. If it was cheaper I'd stock up
Seems to be lifting...
Seems to be lifting easily in my strand test. A quick way to check your progress and figure out the best time to leave on (I.e are you at red or yellow stage by 15 mins). Mix one part powder to 3 parts developer (I used a 1/4 tsp measuring spoon). Also, tip, bleach is no longer active after an hour of oxidizing so don't mix the whole batch up, do a strand test and assume your remainder is going to look half decent on your hair. Also remember, if you habitually dye your hair dark and decide to do all over bleach, your roots will be a platinum blonde and your end lengths will be mustard. Your roots didn't have a ton of layers of dye to penetrate to lift, so no fault of the product if this happens to you

Bought this when I was trying to get my hair as close to platinum white as possible, definitely does the job ,and doesn't break the bank,but it is super drying. Made my hair feel like straw after, and I have alot of hair ,very long ,and thick and for how much I color my hair it's very healthy. This was something I could have gone without. Too drying on the hair ,effective just not worth the damage. Definitely better out there.

So I had box black hair and wanted to go fire engine red and used this and one application, I was able to pull it off. Definitely recommend it. Only thing is it dried my hair out a bit but with a deep condition treatment, good as new.

I liked this product for the most part. I felt like it dried out my hair more than other products have (compared to using the same products and just subbing out the developer). Overall it did a good job, I just wish it wasn't as harsh on my hair.

This bleach does the trick nicely, left my light med brown hair a nice pale yellow colour.with the addition of the manic panic purple toner was perfect. Doesn't hurt or burn your head, very gentle. Instructions clear and easy to follow for perfect results every time.

i bounce between colors often and these bleach kits are a go to. i can't mess up the the ratios because it's all measured out, which is a plus. just make sure youre frequently checking the bleach because you DO NOT want to leave it on too long , this applies to all bleach but since it's 40 volume it's extra important. my one complaint would be there's not a lot of product. my hair is thick and shoulder length and i use almost two whole boxes.

I just uses this to bleach my hair , my hair was the color of my roots ! I honestly love it if you have thick hair like me I suggest you buy 2 boxes but I love it! This is just one use of this product.

I probably use this kit every six months or so and my hair is still super healthy and bouncy and curly. As long as you follow the directions this cat is fabulous and one kit we'll take care of medium to short hair but for hair shoulder length or longer you will need to Kits or more.

Good bleach kit, for a kit. 40 volume should only be used on dark hair, however my light hair is bleach resistant and needs this strength. Now I prefer buying a big tub of bleach powder and a big bottle of developer, as it is much more cost effective. Cost effectiveness is why I removed a star but if you're only applying bleach once this makes more sense.

This bleach will get the job done! The only reason I didn't give [product:manic-panic-flash-lightning-hair-bleach-kit-40-volume] 5 stars is because it does seem too leave my hair more dry then other bleaches. Maybe it's due too the fact that in a matter of minutes it lightens hair. I would recommend not adding heat while it's bleaching cause it does lighten fast and it will burn your hair
