Personal experience

Amazing product , I dyed my hair from dark red almost like a burgundy color to blonde.

It worked really great didn't need hair dye didn't need toner didn't need anything after using two packets of this manic panic I got my bleach blonde hair ! Also, little to no damage done to hair. The only thing i notice is that my hair isn't as soft as normal so I did one tea tree oil solution and it's back to normal ! Amazing product.

GETS THE BRASS OUT!!!

I have naturally auburn hair so bleaching it usually ends in brassy orange or hair that's completely destroyed if I get it blonde enough. This does not do that, it really lightens enough to put any color you want on your hair without completely destroying it.

Got my hair light enough for silver shades

Have used this twice now to bring my dark brown hair to nearly platinum to get silver tones. Very easy to use and clear instructions are provided. It did take two bleach sessions spaced over the course of a month to get my hair light enough for super pastel shades to show. Your hair will need deep conditioning after to get it's softness back after use, but that is going to happen with any bleach product.

Long Hair or Very Dark? Get Multiple Boxes

Two boxes is what you'll need for lightening shoulder length, thick hair. Don't forget that this is only the first step! To get a true blonde without frying your hair you'll need to do another application a week later with deep conditioning in-between, plus the final step of a light blonde color/toner.

Easy & effective

This was my first time bleaching hair so I wasn't sure how well it would go but this made it easy and totally idiot-proof. The kit had everything I need and the instructions were clear. It worked well and lightened the hair quickly and without damage or mess. Cruelty free and affordable. All around an excellent value. I do recommend getting more than one box - one box was just enough for me to do my husband's hair and while he does have a big head and a full head of hair by adult male standards it is still not long by any means, so I think anyone with medium or longer hair would definitely need 2+ of these. Will definitely repurchase.

The only bleach I use...

The only bleach I use on my hair. Ive been using it since Im 16. Im now 40. So theres that. The only improvement I would make is to maybe have it come with more. Thank god my hair is short, but when it was longer I always had to buy two. But I love it. It makes my hair sooooooooo white. I will continue to use it until my hair falls out.

Work great. It bleached my hair without destroying it. I have to tone it down with wella toner but, its ok. Pretty good for D.I.Y hair bleach kit. Price was good and easy to use. I watch YouTube for how to do it. I have soft black hair and turn into brown blonde balayage hair. Recommend to wait 2 week at least between bleach to get to color you want. I bleach 2 times then tone it.

Amazing Product for Dreads!

I'm new to the whole hair thing but have used this bleach both times. I have dreads so I knew it was going to be a hassle trying to get an even lightening. It wasn't. The first time I used this product, it came out exactly as I'd hoped and the second time 2 months later, I used it on top of already bleached hair to get the new growth that had come in and not only did it not damage my already bleached hair, but the virgin hair underneath came out great too! I couldn't be happier with this product. I will say this though, my hair is in a dreadlock mohawk and I only ever bleached half of it. If you have a full head of dreads, you're going to want to get a few packs of it so it can take evenly all the way through.

This stuff right here is the truth!

This stuff really works! It took no time for my hair to go from salt and pepper with a little of the old color left and the ends, to light bright! I had a burgundy color put in and it came out so vivid! This stuff is the truth! Been using it for 3yrs now this is my go to!

Best bleach kit, best price!

Most 40 volume bleach kits will set you back double this price; to top it, won't do as good a job. As a former hair/MUA I've used so many brands carried at the various salons I've worked in over the years, and seen how badly they work (if at all, I could write a book about the bleaching disasters clients were put through😢.) This is the best bleach kit, period. Others may claim to be good but don't live up to the hype whereas the owners of Manic Panic aren't money hungry creeps jumping on a trend- they've been doing this decades before it was "cool" & acceptable, know all the best tricks; one being USE GOOD BLEACH when needed which IMO this kit is! Buy & enjoy your new colour, remove old colour that's stained previously bleached hair (happens to the best of us), or use some "Virgin Snow" Manic Panic colour as a deep conditioner & enjoy having white hair! Either way you win! One important part to watch for: keep checking as some hair beaches quicker than others, will obtain a very light level (look up online to be sure you understand before you bleach) quite fast! Make sure you watch to get the correct colour level for the shade of Manic Panic dye you'll be using after. This is a very strong bleach, so please keep checking!

Dark to Blonde

I have not bleached or dyed my hair in 12 years. I have level 2 dark brown hair. Within 30 minutes I was lifted to a level 7 blonde. Then I reapplied and after another 15 minutes I was lifted to a level 9. I had no issues with my scalp burning. I also had very minimal damage to some of the hair that was at the top of my head. However, this was very minimal and remedied after I conditioned it twice.

I've been wanting to bleach my hair for a while now and decided to give it a try. It was easy to use and worked really well (i have really dark brown almost black hair).I was a little scared of damaging my hair because that can happen whenever you do bleach your hair. But honestly there wasn't huge damage. I do recommend you buy two boxes if you have alot of hair though. I only bought one box and it wasn't enough for my whole head.

My middle section was...

My middle section was previously orange and the sides got bleached for the first time. It lightened pretty good. Do not overuse this product and be sure to deeply condition and rehydrate your hair after using otherwise you're just going to kill it. I've used the product maybe 3 times now in between color changes and makes for vibrant colors that really stand out. I'm a brunette so this helps incredibly so I get the true color rather than something dulled down. If you want vibrant saturated colors I highly reccomend this product. Follow the directions as far as time goes but watch it to see when it is ready so you don't burn your scalp.

I've used this so many times over the last decade. It's easy to use and does an amazing job at lightening your hair. Goes hand in hand with manic panic hair dye you can use any other brands with it or leave the lightened hair as desired!

i was kinda scared to buy this at first because reviews were iffy but i'm SO GLAD i did!! it was my first time working with bleach and it still came out so amazing! i only did the front parts of my hair so i had more than enough product, but if you're doing your whole head i would definitely recommend getting like 2-3 boxes of this depending on how thick your hair is.

Very good product!...

Very good product! Lightened my level 4 hair to a level 8 in 10 minutes. Hair doesnt feel dry either! I do take pretty good care of my hair so that may be why, but I do think this is a quality bleach, and i recommend it on my page & channel

I'm a naturally blond so I need something that gives me a non ash look. The kind of water we have where I live also turns your hair to a beautiful orange color ( not pretty at all) so this is what I use to get all that mess out

This is the only...

This is the only bleach kit I have used since starting to bleach my hair in 2010. It doesn't cause any damage (if don't correctly), it lifts any kind of color you can possibly imagine, and it does it's job very quickly. It also doesn't have a super harsh smell like a lot of other bleaches. I went from dark brunette to platinum blonde in the comfort of my own home thank you to manic panic and LOTS of conditioner. It gets the job done and as long as you're smart about it you should be able to escape with a not totally damaged head of hair.
