Pointless
This is just ok... Didn't need it. It causes some flaking as I heard and doesn't add to the moisture you need. Honestly just stick to the pomegranate & honey coiling custard.
Flakes white residue
Used this with mango & tulsi leave in cream. My hair flaked terribly and there was alot of white residue. Will try again without leave in. Was very disappointed. I've used all their products and never had this problem.
Wanted to like it…
I really wanted to like this gel, but it just didn't cut it for me. I knew when I didn't get a gel cast that this gel would not hold for an entire week. I have mostly 3c, normal to low porosity thick curly hair. I used this gel on its own without a leave in conditioner or any creams underneath. I did a braid out and I knew once my hair fully dried, my style would only hold for a day or two. I typically only wash and style my hair once a week, but by midweek, I was co-washing because I had so much frizz. It is humid right now where I live, so this gel doesn't stand up to humidity. I may try it again in the fall or winter months to see if I get better results. The saving grace was the smell as it's not too overwhelming and it doesn't really linger for long in your hair.
