Nick Stenson Beauty Light Hold Hair Spray

The Nick Stenson Beauty Light Hold Hair Spray has become an essential part of my daily hair routine. As someone who prefers a natural and flexible hold, this product delivers exactly what I need! What I love most about this hair spray is its lightweight formula. It provides just the right amount of hold without weighing down my hair or making it feel stiff. My hairstyles stay in place throughout the day, yet my hair maintains its natural movement and bounce. The spray is super easy to use. I simply shake the bottle well and hold it about 6 inches away from my head. With a quick spritz, I evenly distribute the hair spray on my dry, styled hair, focusing on the ends to roots. It sets quickly, so I don't have to wait around for it to dry. I also appreciate that this hair spray is...

L'ange Salt + Sea Texturizing Spray

My hair is very fine and thin - very fly-away. I have to use lots of products, yet, not have it look like I have lots of product in my hair. I do have a slight curl in my hair but I always blow dry and curl my hair. I tried the newly formulated Salt + Sea. I used my normal before blow drying products, the L'ange Heat Shield and only dried my roots. I added the Salt + Sea and scrunched and diffused my hair. It came out so much better than I expected! It looked fuller and wasn't crunchy. I added a bit more of the Salt + Sea to the dry hair and scrunched it until I got the amount of curl I wanted. I did use a bit of hair spray Day 1. Day 2 was even better than day 1 - still lots of volume and curl left. Today is Day 3 which I almost never get to do because of the amount of product in my...

Paul Mitchell Soft Style Quick Slip Styling Cream

I started using this product back in 2011 when a hair stylist turned me on to it. She used it in my hair and my blowout lasted 5 days, so I purchased it for myself. This product does everything it says:smooths frizz, decreases drying time, protects against heat, adds soft texture, and gives your hair slip (literally) ! Every time I stop using this product I always wonder why I did so in the first place, it that good ! I was a little nervous at first because this a new reformulated version and was scared it was not going to work as well as the previous formula, but its better ! this formula seems to be less heavy than the previous version, which is great for me because I have fine hair. This also works great on my mom who has damaged, color treated hair that is coarse, frizzy and thick....

Bed Head Small Talk Hair Thickening Cream

I had to cut my hair short because of hormonal and age related thinning. I've always had fine hair but tons of it. Not anymore. About a half pump of this on my short hair with a blow out using my Dyson air brush dryer… it literally looks like have double, even triple my volume. It leaves my hair smooth and feels clean, not sticky or heavy. It's really inexpensive for how much is needed and the size of the bottles. It does smell sweet like grape jolly ranchers. But once dry, it just smells clean. It really works and doesn't leave any residue after washing. I'll continue to use this for a while.

Kenra Professional Styling Gel 17

During the summer I always like to wear my hair "natural," but styling my limpy/wavy hair was always a hassle. Of course, it didn't help that every winter I would straighten my hair eliminating any kinks I managed to hold. This year, I was determined, would be different. And that it has!!!!! I have been following the "curly girl method" with some adjustments, and other people with fine type 2 and 3 curls recommended the Kenra 17 gel. "Apply it in the shower, plop your hair, dry (I don't have a diffuser so I do it naturally), and break the cast...or not... AND OMG. I love it!!! Who knew that gel was a girl's best friend?

Very lightweight (I was nervous with the "jelly" name that it would be weird), but has helped with volume at my roots. I have fine strands of hair, but I have a LOT of it, so it gets weighed down. I put a small amount on my fingers, rub together, and put directly into my roots. I'm usually scared to do this because my roots can get greasy easily, but that hasn't been and issue at all. I use this at my roots and the smooth blowout lotion for the rest of my hair, and I have a smooth blowout with volume! I also use a small amount at a time - a dime-sized amount probably, so this should last me for months.

Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Wild Ginger HydroCream Whip

I was hesitant to try this because I thought it would be heavy and possibly greasy as it has mineral oil in it. After reading the great reviews, I decided to try it and I love it. It gives great soft volume without weighing down hair. I have fine, dry, color treated hair and it is perfect. The only slight negative is I'm not crazy about the smell which is strong at first but goes away after a few minutes. But, it works way too good to let the scent stop me from using. I like and use a lot of Paul Mitchell and this one does not disappoint at all. Excellent mousse!

Alterna Caviar Anti-Aging Multiplying Volume Styling Mousse

Having long fine hair that requires an extra boost of volume, I can confidently say that this product works wonders for me. At 45 years old, I've witnessed changes in my hair texture over time—once super curly and thicker, it's now finer and straighter, not as thick as before. Despite these changes, I've been using this product for several years, and the formulation has remained consistent; only the packaging has evolved. I'd advise not to be swayed by negative reviews as my experience has been quite positive with this product. Complimentary from Alternahaircare.

Paul Mitchell Flexible Style Super Sculpt Gel

For adding volume, reducing frizz and giving some definition to those curls, I have yet to try better! All I do is apply a nickel size amount to my hair whilst it's still damp (post-wash) and work it through. Too much and my hair becomes too stiff. I scrunch my hair and then immediately blow dry it. And there it is...much more defined curls, not flat and lifeless, also a good dose of shine due to the Panthenol (Vit B5) in here as well as algae, chamomile and a whole bunch of other good stuff. Yes this is fragranced but not to the extent that it clashes with my perfume or induce a headache as my last styling product did. Gives a nice medium hold which so far has resisted even some of the windiest days where I live. No 'crunchy' feeling either, the hold is pretty natural on me which is...
