Works and you feel it

Applied it 2-3x now over the span of a couple months. This nail strengthener does the quick and I definitely noticed less breakage of my nails. I used to have my fingernails break a few times a week. Now, i maybe experience one nail breaking once every 2-3 weeks. Works immediately. My con is that you notice it on your nails - it feels like wearing a top coat.

My go to nail strengthener

I've been wearing Nail Tek 2 for years. When I stopped wearing tips, my nail on my right middle finger kept splitting. I used a coat daily and it helped keep my nails strong. I also like that it's cruelty free. Nailtiques tests on animals and has gelatin, this doesn't. I use this formula to maintain as base and top coat. Every few days I refresh my manicure with this as a topcoat. Sometimes I just leave my nails clear and use this daily. All depends. It's a permanent staple in my nail collection. I also like the cuticle oil.

Difference in 2 weeks!

I used this product years ago and noticed significant improvement to weak, thin nails. I finally re-purchased it after trying out other strengtheners, and this one is by far the best one! It's been about 2-3 weeks since I've begun using it again, only 3 coats used so far but already see a difference in the strength of my nails.

Need more IN STOCK

Have been using esp. the EXTRA strength clear nail polish several yrs; but don't always have in stock so bought the STRENGTHENER Intensive Therapy strength for now. Over the yrs HAS saved and have great growth in my nails wonderfully! YES, I "would" recommend this to a friend!

Good Results

I started using this product when I began doing my nails myself during the pandemic. After requiring industrial strength acetone to remove a powder dipped polish, my nails looked horrible and were in poor condition. They were peeling, splitting, and breaking. It's been a few months (one bottle) and my nails are healthy again. I highly recommend this product.

bubbles in manicures

this stuff is great for nail strength and I used it alone for a few weeks. when I tried to use it as a base and top coat with polishes (no matter what brand), it caused insane bubbles that somehow got worse as I wore the manicure. when I used just one coat under a basecoat, the problem was still there. I couldnt fix it no matter how long I let it dry, or even by brushing nail polish remover over the top to try to release the bubbles. i recently switched to another brand and the problem totally went away, so I know it was this. I had the same issue with other products from this brand (foundation 2 and xtra 4)

This stuff is amazing

OK so I have Hashimoto which causes my hair scalp nails to be extremely dry. My nails are extremely brittle and always breaking off. I use this stuff and my nails have grown long this is the first in my life…

If you have issues with nails breaking or being brittle really really give this a try. This is way better than hard as nails this actually allows your nails to grow and not break.

Excellent for Damaged Nails

I started using this product when I was getting chemotherapy. My nails became very weak and brittle and sometime even crumbled. I keep my nail short -- I file them short every week -- to keep them from breaking at the quick.

iT'S OK

I bought this "Strengthener" product because they didn't have the "EXTRA" product I usually buy and have been buying for many years for my thin nails! Strengthener worked ok, but not as well and strong as the Extra mix. But, everyone's nails are different. I would recomment this to anyone, but depending how much "strength" they need for their own nails, would recommend buying the EXTRA strength mix. mc 6-24-2020

Best nail strengthener ever!

I wore acrylic nails for 17 years and all of a sudden 5 years ago became allergic. Went to the doctor frantic and the only thing left to do was take them off. My nails were obviously a mess. My nail tech recommended this product and I went through probably 10 bottles in 6 months, but my nails returned to normal. I try and get manicures every week, but when I don't, I still use this product and love it like I always did.

I had acrylic nails for years. When the acrylics were removed, my nails were so thin and peeling that even folding laundry would make them break. I have tried other products -- Sally Hansen, Essie Treat Love Color --I even wore moisturizing gloves to bed -- nothing worked. I will use Nail Tek Tiype 2 forever.

Smoother, Stronger nails

Heals and repairs, smooths nails. Makes nail polish application easier too! Dries clear and super fast, and my husband and I both use this as we both have dry cuticles in the winter- his actually become painful! Now, we use this and follow with cuticle oil about once a week. Takes seconds to apply, about a minute to dry. That's it! I highly recommend this product.

This stuff is great!

I used to use this product because my nails were very thin and had a tendency to peel. I started getting regular manicures and my nails got stronger and stronger. Then I decided to start doing my own manicures and I have started using this under my base coat to keep my nails strong. It works wonders!

Only polish that actually helps!

Love this! Only product I can use that actually works and grows my nails. I have brittle, peeling nails... this hardens them and they grow so quick! I will have a gel manicure on for 2 weeks and use this in between after I soak it off and after a month my nails are long and hard

Saved my nails

My nails were beginning to peel, break off, and would not grow past my finger tips due to a medication I was on. After using this, my nails have not peeled and they're finally starting to grow. I've been using this for about 3 weeks now and I'm noticing huge improvements!

Highly recommend for peeling nails

My nails have been peeling for a couple of years now and I've tried all the drugstore strengtheners before stepping up to this. I thought I was beyond help, but this has formaldehyde in it which made a HUGE difference. Before you get freaked out at a chemical (which everything is a chemical so w/e), I've learned formaldehyde add links between keratin and the I've seen the results.

After two weeks, and all of my nails except for my thumb nails have no signs of flaking layers. I'm hoping with further use my thumb nails will stop peeling completely, but at this point it has been reduced. HIGHLY recommend.

My "go to" nail strengthener

I have used this product for years as a basecoat and topcoat for my peeling nails. It is the best nail strenghtener I have found for overall nail appearance. If I am using consistently, it keeps my nails from peeling and splitting.

Making my hard to grow, peeling nails look so much better!

My nails tend to peel on the tip and the edges, and I rarely can get them to grow longer than my fingertips. This has helped them peel much less and they seem to be getting stronger; they might get longer than they normally do! I am not sure how often it should be used, but I put a new layer on every two days, and after about the fourth application, I use nail polish remover and start from scratch.

I love this product. It really works!

I love this stuff and yes it really does work, if you follow instructions completely and faithfully. Really great when you have removed artificial nails and decide to go with natural nails, helps to strengthen.

I have used Nail Tek Intensive 2 products for a number of years. If I break a nail, it helps my nail grow longer quickly. I use the Ridge Filler then the Strengthener, as directed. I notice a difference in nail length and strength after only 1 week. I just keep adding the Strengthener until I feel like starting over. I have tried numerous other products and this is the only one that works for me. It really helped strengthen my nails after wearing nail tips for a number of months. I think this is a great product.
