Nuface FIX Line Smoothing Microcurrent Device & Serum Duo Reviews

What happened?

I loved my fixx although I wasn't a regular user of it which is why I was shocked when it all of a sudden just stopped working.

I'd had it for about 2 years, but since I seldom used it, it had maybe 9 months of use total.

I have no idea what happened since it was fine when I used it about a week ago.

Tried charging it & the light stayed on, but after 3 hours when I figured it was fully charged it wouldn't turn on.

So disappointed. Such a handy little device but kinda expensive given that as I see in the other reviews it doesn't last very long before it breaks.

Awesome device, but it not long lasting.

Fix does the job, but it has a short term life. I've had my fix for about 2 years and all of a sudden it stopped working, and of course 1 year after the replacement warranty expired. I have taken good care of my Fix, as you can see.

Depends on what you want and where you are

I got this three weeks ago, and used daily. There is definitely evidence that this does something and it presumably 'works'- but there are some caveats. First: what tells me it works? It definitely produced the plumped lip area effect- sadly that's something I neither needed or wanted - hah- just hoped one particular imminent line in the area would stay away. This said- I can get the same effect from my nuface mini simply by using it around my lips, don't even need the ELE. Why I say there are some caveats: while it did have some effect on my 1 (not 11's…yet), it was not groundbreaking nor even cumulative :-/. I had seen one review from one of those bloggers saying she didn't use it on some specific area because it was a permanent line and this device wasn't meant to help that- I think she's right (that 1 and my three forehead lines are pretty permanent, meaning that even when I'm relaxed, they're there). Still: I did see some slight effect- so if some effect is enough for you- buy with confidence- it wasn't enough for me, not given the other devices I use and compared to what they can do for me. Lastly, I will mention- I saw *zero* effect around my eyes… And they're not at all bad yet- that was a genuine bummer. So all in all- I would say this *might* be the device for you depending on your needs and the stage at which your lines currently stand. Good luck!

Not sold on it yet

I've used daily for 3 weeks and see no change at all on the areas I'm using it on. I also find the placement of the light not helpful at all - it should be closer to the top to help during application.

Works, Love it but died 15 months after purchasing

I must say, I loved my FIX it is easy to use, great for - on the go, small and light, convenient and most importantly it works! Purchased in July 2021 it stopped working in October 2022. Won't repurchase. Also have the Trinity also stopped working along with devices. Using the mini rn. Still love it my Nuface.

Ambivalent

I have been using the line smoothing device roughly everyday for a few weeks and typically use it for 30 mins to an hour. I actually think using this product may be making my fine lines around my eyes worse but it may be too soon to sell. But we'll see.

Love hate relationship….

I love this little guy but I am on my 4th fix unit… after some time ( never longer than 12 months) it stops charging and then I'm out the money. If this one stops I'm done repurchasing which is sad that's why I gave it 3 stars!

My Nuface Fix is cracked.

I enjoyed using Nuface Fix for 1,5 years, however, yesterday I noticed that my device is cracked! I used it and stored it very carefully, so I.m wondering why it happens as it's the 5th review on Internet I saw where people reported the same problem. It's disappointing for such a price.

Love the device, dislike the FIX serum

The device is wonderful, but the FIX serum is a little problematic. It says you can use your regular skincare products after use, even instructs you to "tap in remaining serum to enjoy its hydration benefits ", but the reality is, it will 'pill' on your skin. Even if you don't apply any other skincare products, it will cause your makeup to pill as well if you use a foundation brush. If you use a beauty blender, your foundation doesn't stay put under your eyes. I thought maybe I had used too much at first, but regardless how much or how little serum you use, the same thing happens. You have to wash the FIX serum off once you're finished with your device, which is really annoying considering how pricey the serum is.

Using the mini is my favorite part of my skincare

Consistency is key with this tool. I've been using it for two weeks now and the results are undeniable. There are instant results where the face is less puffy, but there are also long term results with consistent use. I'm young, yes but it's always better to take preventative steps when it comes to aging and appearance. I haven't had any issues and haven't needed to charge it once. The battery life is long. I store it safely in a case. I will definitely upgrade to the trinity eventually.

Have Realistic Expectations

I love this and use it every morning to tighten my under eyes and help with skin texture. Works great. I have owned mine for 2 years with no issues of breaking or not working however I baby all my tools. It stays charged for a minimum of a month per charge- even with daily use.

Easy to Use

Started using and seeing results within 2 weeks - plumper skin and fine lines around lips and eyes are smoothing out.

Used to use a larger device 10 yrs ago - then it stopped charging.

I like the line smoother and amazing it stays charged.

As others mentions, this DIES quickly, for no reason

I was so impressed with the Mini Nu Face Toning Device, I splurged on this wand. The difference between how these two devices penetrate is why I bought the smaller line fix. Wonderful fast results if used with quality serums, like SkinCeuticals, I got to the point of using this wand once a week, and then packed it up to switch to other skin devices. It was stored in a closet with NO humidity, was never dropped, and stopped working. Completely dead for no apparent reason. I called Nu Face asking for repairs and they said no. Super annoying as I've seen refurbished (repaired) NuFace devices sold by online authorized retailers. I'll never buy NuFace products again. I guess all I can do is file a complain with the Better Business Bureau.

Buyer beware

I bought this unit in April. A first the unit worked perfectly, I even was able to charge it.

Recently the unit does not charge and will not turn on. I have contacted them twice and have received no reply. They have not replaced the unit obviously there is a problem with this item. I would not purchase this because they do not honor the warranty.

Immediate results

Softens the deep lines around my mouth (nasolabial lines), at the corners of my mouth and on my forehead (Worry lines). I'm in my fifties now, so I don't expect them to disappear, but I really appreciate how well this device softens them. It is easy and quick to use and the results, payoff are better than expected.

Seems to work but not sure how long it lasts?

I definitely see a slight difference in some fine lines, and in additional plump to my lips, immediately after use- I'm just not sure how long that effect lasts? I think it honestly could just be minutes. I'll keep using and see if the effect builds up over time.

Liked it but it needs work

I bought this device to accompany my three other NuFace devices. I was happy with it's portability and ease of use but my first fix crumbled completely from the conductors. Customer service replaced my device and I continued to use it to compliment my other devices.....fast forward to my year warranty ending and my device just stopped charging. I tried all of the trouble shooting and it still wouldn't work. Upon further research I learned that this is not uncommon for the fix. Customer service offered my %15 off of a new fix but I decided to cut my losses and stick with my mini and trinity.
