Nuface FIX Line Smoothing Microcurrent Device & Serum Duo 3-stars Reviews

What happened?

I loved my fixx although I wasn't a regular user of it which is why I was shocked when it all of a sudden just stopped working.

I'd had it for about 2 years, but since I seldom used it, it had maybe 9 months of use total.

I have no idea what happened since it was fine when I used it about a week ago.

Tried charging it & the light stayed on, but after 3 hours when I figured it was fully charged it wouldn't turn on.

So disappointed. Such a handy little device but kinda expensive given that as I see in the other reviews it doesn't last very long before it breaks.

Depends on what you want and where you are

I got this three weeks ago, and used daily. There is definitely evidence that this does something and it presumably 'works'- but there are some caveats. First: what tells me it works? It definitely produced the plumped lip area effect- sadly that's something I neither needed or wanted - hah- just hoped one particular imminent line in the area would stay away. This said- I can get the same effect from my nuface mini simply by using it around my lips, don't even need the ELE. Why I say there are some caveats: while it did have some effect on my 1 (not 11's…yet), it was not groundbreaking nor even cumulative :-/. I had seen one review from one of those bloggers saying she didn't use it on some specific area because it was a permanent line and this device wasn't meant to help that- I think she's right (that 1 and my three forehead lines are pretty permanent, meaning that even when I'm relaxed, they're there). Still: I did see some slight effect- so if some effect is enough for you- buy with confidence- it wasn't enough for me, not given the other devices I use and compared to what they can do for me. Lastly, I will mention- I saw *zero* effect around my eyes… And they're not at all bad yet- that was a genuine bummer. So all in all- I would say this *might* be the device for you depending on your needs and the stage at which your lines currently stand. Good luck!

Ambivalent

I have been using the line smoothing device roughly everyday for a few weeks and typically use it for 30 mins to an hour. I actually think using this product may be making my fine lines around my eyes worse but it may be too soon to sell. But we'll see.

Love hate relationship….

I love this little guy but I am on my 4th fix unit… after some time ( never longer than 12 months) it stops charging and then I'm out the money. If this one stops I'm done repurchasing which is sad that's why I gave it 3 stars!

Liked it but it needs work

I bought this device to accompany my three other NuFace devices. I was happy with it's portability and ease of use but my first fix crumbled completely from the conductors. Customer service replaced my device and I continued to use it to compliment my other devices.....fast forward to my year warranty ending and my device just stopped charging. I tried all of the trouble shooting and it still wouldn't work. Upon further research I learned that this is not uncommon for the fix. Customer service offered my %15 off of a new fix but I decided to cut my losses and stick with my mini and trinity.

No to the Fix serum

To be honest, I didn't keep this long enough to know if I had any results. It's the serum that I really didn't like. For one, it's terribly expensive. Also, I'm not sure if it was the serum or the Fix, but it caused lots of small bumps in my skin. After using the Mini and the Fix, my skin was terribly irritated. I don't know if these devices do much for the 50 something year olds that haven't had prior work done. I returned both, but may try again at some point. I'd love to see more testimonials from 50+ year olds.

I have always loved the product, but iffy about the service.

I love Nuface, this was my 3rd purchase over the years. It really does give quick results (when you use it correctly). However, make sure you pick out the product in person. My box this time was already opened. With the seals cut. It ended up not turning on after charging it for 6 hours.

Not Great but Not Bad

This device does not tighten or smooth my lines. I did a test using the device with serum and using the serum without the device. I gave it three stars because the serum is good for moisture and softening the skin but did little else. There was difference or change between the two methods over a 32 day period. I am trying Strivectin, maybe I will get some results from it.

Shocking quality

Although i am very impressed with the results of this product the quality of the device is very poor. I used it this evening and afterwards noticed that the plastic casing was cracked. Absolutely gutted as I had amazing results with it. It was a treat which i will not be reinvesting in and will not recommend.

Better to go with Nuface Trinity

I tried it for a few days and didn't see a major difference in fine lines on my forehead and around my eyes, and smile lines. Best to go with Nuface Trinity. It can be used also for wrinkles as well as facial toning and lifting. Effect is only temporary unless used on a daily basis.

Hardware Problem

I was so excited to receive my NuFACE FIX. I started using it on a regular basis when I too, noticed a small crack down one side next to one of the steel balls. I wasn't too concerned and then another crack appeared on the other side. Still not a problem but then one just appeared along the top and I was worried the balls would fall out. I have glued it back together and so far it seems to be holding. It is diffinetly a flaw in the material. Happy that I am not the only one with this problem. I also have a NuFACE Mini that works perfectly for over two years.

As I was reading some other reviews today, it seems that the plastic cracking seems to be a thing with this device. I'm very disappointed. I like this devise and wanted to continue to use it.

Instant results, but poorly made device.

I was really excited about this product and did see results. I had to return it because the tip started to crack. I exchanged it for the NuFACE mini. This device is fairly new so I will wait to purchase another one after improvements have been made.

Improving

I have been using the Fix serum and Nuface device on the lines above my mouth and the nose to mouth lines. I have noticed improvement (I forgot to take a before photo!) This is a problem area for me and I hope to to continue to have good results. I do like that this serum does not need to be washed off.

Super easy to use

I bought it a month ago thinking it would do the same as the ELE but kept the Fix anyway. I use the Nuface Trinity every night, and the Fix in the morning to smooth out lines, I can't see any difference yet but to be fair I haven't been as consistent with the Fix and am only using it a few times a week.
