Olay Hyaluronic + Peptide 24 Hydrating Eye Gel 2-stars Reviews
Weird texture
I’ve been using more Olay products lately because of finding good deals on them at a certain club store. They’re a lot nicer on the skin than I thought they would be. The “Hyaluronic + Peptide 24 Gel Eye Cream is not really a cream it’s definitely a gel; very wet very gloopy. I can’t say that this did anything for my eye skin which tends to get dry and look dull. There was no plumping effect or extra noticeable moisture. Maybe that takes time to see. Mostly I didn’t enjoy the texture of this product and how it sits on the skin. A little goes a looooong way and it didn’t seem to absorb. It just wanted to spread over my face when I applied it. I tried using smaller amounts but it just didn’t feel right. I will say that it did not bother my sensitive eyes and I have no skin irritation with it. I just don’t see it performing well enough to keep or purchase.
Cooling gel
I received the Olay Hyaluronic Peptide 24 Gel Eye Cream through Pinch Me. When I first put it on it had a nice cooling effect which is great this time of year during allergy season. I thought this would be a better product for warmer weather versus my heavy eye creams. I was extremely disappointed in the performance of this product. It goes on great and absorbs nicely but it peels of on my skin leaving chunks of cream or skin on my face. You cannot use a concealer over it. I tried four different concealers and the gel still came off in chunks with the concealer. This product would work at night when sleeping only because it would not matter about the peeling of the skin. Sorry to say that I give this product a thumbs down.
