Olay Mini Regenerist Retinol24 +Peptide Night Moisturizer 3-stars Reviews
I want to love!
I used a previous version of this cream and had no issues. I bought a new jar last month and have tried it for a whole month. I'm nearly out of the jar. It feels good when it goes on, but I'm definitely experiencing pilling. I tried everything to remedy this: using a very small amount, applying after *thoroughly* cleansing and drying, changing up the order of my routine, applying it alone, letting it dry thoroughly before letting anything touch my face... none of it worked. I wake up in the morning with white flakes and every speck of dust and dog hair in the room clinging to my skin. When applied with my fingers (I usually use a silicone applicator), the white residue would form on my hands as well. I wouldn't say I saw no results, though I do use other products in my regime, but I worry I didn't get the full benefit of the formula since it didn't seem to absorb as intended. I had absolutely no adverse reactions to the cream (my skin tolerates retinol well). I'll be changing up this part of my skincare routine, but I wish I could pinpoint why this was happening. I believe in the Olay products and wish this would work for me.
Didn't do it for me
I tried this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion. I have this product 3 stars but still said that I would recommend it,here's why. I love the smell.bit is light but good. The whipped cream base feels great. But,this product is not for me.
I have an oily T zone area and this product made me break out with pimples after two days of use. I do not normally get pimples but this product was very greasy on my skin leaving it oily and breaking out in my chin and upper lip. Now, I said I would recommend it because everyone does not have an oily T zone so I feel like if you do not have oily skin this would work great. If you do,then do not use it. It is very hydrating but comes off greasy on mine. I think it may work for others.
Ok product not for me
I tried this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion. The play regenerate whip helps with fine line wrinkles and has an spf of 25 broad spectrum. My experience with this item was non exciting as I kept using it, it's just did not do anything for my skin. My skin lacked moisture and I could still see some fine lines in my face. The only positive is the scent of this item was divine but with that being said o do not recommend if you have combination skin and would have liked it to be higher in spf because it's summer and I just don't think 25 spf is going to fully protect me from sun. I would say this product is best for people that just want a nice quick food smelling face cream but that don't much moisture on their skin.
Strongly fragranced but otherwise amazing.
I tried this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion. I love that this is a moisturizer that contains a good amount of sun protection with a SPF 25 instead of the usual SPF 15. This was a huge positive for me. It has a good thick, creamy texture that absorbed well into my skin and I didn't have any issues with it pilling like I sometimes do with other thicker moisturizers.
My skin didn't have any reactions to this moisturizer and I used it every day for seven days. Unfortunately, I will not continue to use it as it is strongly fragranced and this is a huge turnoff for me. A little fragrance is fine. But this smelled like grandmas perfume and I found it off putting.
This moisturizer is great if you don't mind a strongly fragranced moisturizer.
Nice finish!
I tried this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion. The Olay Regenerist Whips moisturizer with SPF 25 has a nice creamy texture that doesn't feel goopy or overly wet.
The product goes on smoothly and dries with an almost powdery finish without the usual greasy feeling a lot of moisturizers with Sun-protection leave behind. I like this moisturizer solely for the way it dries and leaves my skin. I didn't notice any wonderful results as far as the tone, texture or appearance of my skin but it never looked oily or greasy. I would recommend this product for just a simple moisturizer with sun protection, not one for dramatic results at all.
okay for dry skin
I tried this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion. I tried the Olay regenerist whip facial moisturizer with 25 spf sunscreen as a free sample, and I found it to be okay. I will not be personally continuing to use it because I have fairly oily skin already and I felt like it just made my face feel like it was greasy, but if you are a person with skin that is dry on your face then I would say this may be great for you. I like that it had good sun protection, but it simply isn't for me.
Moisturizer cream with SPF
I tried this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion. I tried Olay Regenerist Whip Face Moisturizer SPF 25 for one week. I have not noticed any change not a bad reaction.
The texture of the cream is smooth and it is light on your face.
The most thing I like about it is the cream it is Spf 25 so I don't have to wear sunscreen, it will be a win for you if you hate multiple layers on your face. Also, I feel my face is moisturized enough.
I would continue to use it and I would buy it again.
Nice product but not for my skin type
I tried this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion. I received a free sample of Olay Regenerist whip moisturizer with sunscreen in exchange for my honest review. I thought it was a very rich luxurious product. It was a bit much for my skin type as I have oily skin, but I've been using it for my eyes and my chest. It absorbed pretty well, not too much residue left over initially anyway. And had a nice scent to it and I like that it has skin firming ingredients in it. I will probably continue to use this product on select areas of my face, just not on the entirety of it.
Decent addition
I tried this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion. As far as moisturizers go I did find that the Olay Regenerist Whip was better than most at keeping my skin moisturized, with a few cons. The scent was a bit stronger and lasted over four hours making it not the greatest choice if you are sensitive to fragarences. As for the whip effect, the product had more of a slightly thicker lotion consistency than whipped. Lastly, the product did not seem to really absorb onto the skin but stayed as a top layer on my face even after five minutes of working it in (dime size of moisturizer).
Not for me
I tried this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion. I am writing this review for my experience with Olay Regenerist moisturizer with SPF15. Over the past week I used it every night but will probably not continue using it. First of all as I was applying it felt like it was balling up and coming off. Second of all I have never heard of any of the main ingredients in it and have no idea what their benefits are. Finally I did not feel any moisturization from it and it made my face oily after just a couple hours. I don't know who I would recommend this product for but it's not for me.
Sunscreen, not necessarily "moisturizer"
I tried this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion. This product is labeled and marketed as "hydrating moisturizer with sunscreen" on the exterior product packaging. The packaging details describe the "purpose" of the product as "sunscreen" and its "uses" as "helps prevent sunburn".
The jar itself removes the reference of "hydrating moisturizer" found on the external packaging and simply states "Olay Regenerist Whip with sunscreen"
The product is light-weight and goes on smoothly and absorbs quickly. It has a strong smell that I found unpleasant, but the smell dissipates somewhat after application. The smell was my first indication that this product is primarily intended for use as a sunscreen, not necessarily as a moisturizer with sunscreen properties. This impression was further reinforced by reading the directions on the packaging that state to "apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure" and to "reapply at least every 2 hours".
I did not test the product's sunscreen capabilities and cannot comment on its ability to prevent sunburn.
This doesn't appear to be a product for everyday use as a moisturizer, especially if it needs to be reapplied every 2 hours, but rather specifically for use as a sunscreen. I believe that the product packaging lacks complete information that would allow a customer to feel confident that they are purchasing a product to suit their needs. This product would best be referred to as a "sunscreen" instead of a "hydrating moisturizer with sunscreen".
I would not use this product as a daily moisturizer and since it needs to be reapplied every two hours to maintain it's sunscreen properties, I would only use it in that capacity if I was not wearing makeup.
Silky Sunscreen
I tried this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion. At first glance, the Olay Regenerist Whip moisturizer with SPF 25, was packaged nicely and I was ready to get into the box. I took out the "pot", opened it up and a wonderful scent captured my attention. The whip looked fluffy and inviting so I stuck my fingers in and it felt like silk.
Why stop there right? I placed a bit under my eyes and on my forehead and continued to cover my face, spreading it evenly on my skin. After which, my skin felt a bit tacky but I decided to check again after it "dried". When I felt like ample time had passed, I felt my skin and it has a different feel to it. Sort of like it's still not dry. I'm hoping it will eventually sink in, an hour after putting it on.
I know that it contains several different sunscreens so that may factor into it sitting in the skin. My face does feel moisturized though.
SPF 25 is good enough for limited sun exposure
I tried this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion. I recently tried OLAY REGENERIST WHIPS HYDRATING MOISTURIZER WITH SUNSCREEN. I have always loved the Olay line of products and was happy to try this.
It is not a lightweight moisturizer by any means. It had more of a cold cream consistency. But it was absorbed by my skin and felt fine.
I live in Florida and am an older light skinned redhead, so I am always keeping an eye on the amount of UV rays I get. This made me feel a little more protected. Since I only go out to the car and drive to work, I think a SPF 25 sunscreen is good enough. Plus, this has the benefits of a daily moisturizer.
I would recommend this product for anyone that has limited daily exposure to the sun.
A New Creamy Whip with Sunscreen
I tried this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion. I tried this product for free in exchange for my honest review and it's OLAY REGENERIST Whip with Broad Spectrum SPF 25. I used it after cleansing my face and then I used a small amount of this creamy whip and my skin felt soft and supple. It has vitamin B3 & peptides to instantly hydrate and visibly firm skin. This has 4 sunscreen active ingredients in it to help prevent sunburn.
I really liked the creamy texture and the way it absorbed into my skin. The only problem is that I have oily skin and I wouldn't recommend this product if you have oily skin because after a few hours my skin was more oily. It is a great sunscreen to use for normal to dry skin I believe. I wouldn't recommend using it under makeup, especially if you have oily skin. I believe it works perfect for use by itself on your face. It does protect against UVA/UVB rays and it does absorb quickly into the skin with a lightweight feel.
I also didn't smell any perfumes or scents and it's made with clean ingredients, No Parabens, No Phthalates, No Synthetic Dyes. I would use this 15 minutes before sun exposure and after cleansing your skin. I was out in the sun for a couple hours and no sunburn so, I really do recommend this product for sun protection. Although I feel it's not the greatest for oily skin.
Leaves weird residue and clogs sink
My review of Olay Regenerist Retinol 24 Face Wash is not so much about how well the wash cleans my face. I guess it does that okay, but I can’t say I noticed any real change in how my skin looked after using this product for a couple months now. What I can say is that it leaves a weird residue in my sink and clogs the sink when I wash it off. I’ve never had this issue with any other face wash before, and it only happens when I’m using the face wash, not when I’m just washing my hands or something, so I know it’s the product itself.
Leaves skin feeling soft
Olay Regenerist Retinol 24 Face Wash is a creamy yet mildly exfoliating. The face wash did a great job at removing excess oils and makeup without leaving my skin dry. I made sure not to use any other retinol products after washing with the Rentiol face wash. My only concern was the ability of the retinol to work or remain on the skin to work effectively. Also the micro scrubbers we're a little to harsh on my face. I had to gently rub the cleanser on my face to reduce the likelihood of any injury. If it wasn't for the scrub, I would have like it much more.
Just average. My face didn’t feel 100% clean.
I’ve been using this Olay Regenerist Retinol 24 Face Wash for 3 weeks now. I didn’t see any improvement and I don’t love it for my oily skin. I think it would better suit those with dry skin. My skin is naturally oily and I’m having hormonal breakouts. The texture of this wash is indeed creamy and pleasant to use. The exfoliating beads are decent and provide very gentle exfoliation. My skin felt soft afterwards, but not completely clean. My skin felt oily/like I had applied moisturizer after using. This isn’t a bad thing, but for me and my oily skin, it was too much. I love the more natural ingredients. As promised, it did not have any scent and did not irritate my skin in any way.
Wanted To Love It... It's O.K.
I received a 5 oz. tube of Olay Regenerist Retinol 24 Face Wash from Pinchme. I was excited to try this as I knew retinol could be helpful for different skin conditions from acne to fine lines. However, after using this product for a week, I did not see much, if any difference in my skin - it wasn't smoother, clearer, or more even. That said, it did not cause any negative reactions either. The product is called a "wash," but it is more like a mild scrub. It is slightly creamy with a little bit of grit. It does not foam or lather, which makes it a bit hard to tell where it is on the face. I used it each night after using a face wipe, and it did seem to remove most make-up or other product the wipe left. While I did not see a difference in the time I used it, I think it might be useful for unclogging pores. The face wash is fragrance free and comes in a silver and purple tube with a flip-top lid. Before and after pictures are below (before using the Olay Regenerist Retinol 24 Face Wash, and after 1 week of use).
It’s okay
I received a sample of Olay Regenerist Retinol 24 Face Wash from PinchMe. First I only used this product at night given the instructions to use sunscreen. Olay Regenerist Retinol 24 Face Wash is a cream with tiny little sand-like particles to help slough off the dead skin. The first time I used Olay Regenerist Retinol 24 Face Wash, and I liked how it left my skin - soft to the touch. I used Olay Regenerist Retinol 24 Face Wash for a second consecutive night and did notice some irritation where my face turned red in my cheeks and forehead. The redness went away by the next morning. I can say Olay Regenerist Retinol 24 Face Wash is not a product you want to use every day. At least for me, Olay Regenerist Retinol 24 Face Wash works great every other day. I do see a little improvement in the texture of my skin, but it’s too soon to tell how good this product will actually turn out. Olay Regenerist Retinol 24 Face Wash is a good affordable addition to my routine but I would not buy as my only go-to face wash.
Good prep for retinol serums
I received Olay Regenerist Retinol 24 fragrance free face wash from PinchMe. Being in my 50's I am very conscious of the early signs of aging, Olay Regenerist Retinol 24 face wash is designed to both cleanse skin and gently exfoliate to prep skin for retinol treatments. It did just that. My skin felt soft and clean after washing. The only drawback for me would be that, because of it's exfoliant property, I can't use this around my eyes, so I still have to have another cleanser on hand for that. Otherwise, good product!
