Olay Regenerist Retinol24 Night Serum 2-stars Reviews
My primary issue with...
My primary issue with this product is the staring role that silicones play - Im not sure if there is a functional application for dimethicone in this product (e.g., maybe the retinol goes into a silicone suspension to encourage a smooth and even application?), or if the dimethicone is simply to give you the immediate impression of softer skin since it literally fills your pores. Im afraid the latter may be the case...if so, Im not sure how effective this product is since I dont know how well the retinol can access the skin through the silicones. Either way, I tend to get blackheads with chronic dimethicone use, which obviously defeats the purpose of this product. My other issue is with the mica in the serum - another ingredient that is intended to make your skin look better immediately without any long term benefits. All in all, I wish olay would remove the fluff ingredients in favor of quality, necessary ingredients when possible. At this point, I cannot recommend this product - if this changes, Ill be sure to update this review. I received this serum free from influenster in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

I received this product complimentary in exchange for my honest opinion from Influenster.
Ive been using this product every night for the last two weeks and honestly I havent noticed any drastic changes in my skin that can be attributed to this product. It goes on easy and does not have a smell really, so it just kind of exists on your skin. On the bright side, it didnt make my skin any worse, so thats where it gets the stars I gave it. I just dont see the benefit of purchasing this. Nice try Olay, but I think its back to the drawing board with this product.
