Pilly and unusable

I bought this after reading that it was one of the best lower cost eye creams available, but after weeks of trying to make it work, I returned it because it would not absorb even when I used small amounts. It just sat on my skin with a lumpy texture. Also wasn't good for my sensitive skin at the time. I was having some issues with really dry eye around the skin and I could not use this at the same time, I imagine due to having fragrance in it.

No Change in 3 Weeks

I read the reviews first, but decided to purchase this expensive eye cream anyway.

Ok, first, clearly there is make up (foundation/concealer?) in the product. It's a orange putty color. After using the product, I wiped my fingers on a towel and noticed the towel was now orange putty colored. Now, once applied to the face, the color disappears. Second, I have dark circles and a little puffiness under my eyes. The packaging said instant results. It's been 3 weeks, and there is no change. Lastly, after use is does make the skin around my eyes softer, so there's that.

Olay has quality products that I love. I just can't love this. I will continue to use it because of the softness factor, and because I paid so much for a little tiny jar.

Bring Back 7-in-0ne Total Effects Eye Cream!

I bought this hoping to replace my beloved, discontinued 7-in-One Eye Cream because it looked the same in its container. Well, no way! This product lacks the immediate brightening and moisturizing effects of the other product. As stated by others, it gives a dry, matte finish that settles into wrinkles, emphasizing them, and does nothing for dark circles.

Who made the decision to discontinue the other cream and add this??? I imagine an executive in his 20s who has neither wrinkles nor dark circles.

Ultimate eye creme

I was given this as a gift. Nice way to say " your eyes need help". I actually didn't like it. I felt it dried my eyes more. But … I use the roller and anti wrinkle eye creme (the little red jar) and I use all the total effects 7 in one line and the total correcting cccream (makeup) and it is perfect!! I love it!! I used to use Estée Lauder. I am convinced that Olay is the best in everything. I use your bath products also. The eye creme just didn't work on me

Olay Ultimate Eye Cream

I've been using Olay Ultimate Eye Cream for just about a year now and I can honestly day that I haven't noticed any difference! I always was under the assumption that Olay was a product that really worked. I don't purchase Olay often, because I really can't afford it too often. Now it seems like this was a waste of money. I won't be buying this particular eye cream again.

Product not for black women

I'm 38 trying to curve any appearance of aging. My fiancee bought the whole collection because I've been asking for it. He also bought the Okay eyes. I used it first time. Woke up to way more distinctive wrinkles around my eyes. This product as a white hue to it. Like they put some type of Whitner in it. The skin around my eyes got super soft. I woke up and washed it off applied their good ol regular okay renewal cream. I think this product is for older white women. Not a black woman, my mom used Olay her entire life. So I'm using it as well.

Doesn't do what it claims to

This has a nice texture and absorbs nicely. It also has a very slight tint to it which is nice for counteracting discoloration a bit- however it isn't enough to cover alone, which I wasn't expecting anyway so that isn't an issue for me. What I dislike about this product is it's nice while on, but there are no benefits in the long term in terms of reducing the appearance of fine lines, depuffing, reducing discoloration etc. It is a slightly tinted eye moisturizer but nothing more. I used for 2 months saw no improvement whatsoever.

Just buy a concealer

I purchased this eye creme and if you look at the ingredients...this has dimethicone...this is a fake smoothing and fake hydration. Dimethicone sits on top of the skin. This is used in makeup primer. This gives the appearance of diminished wrinkles...but the second you wash it off...all of the benefits go away as well. This is a primer. Not a molecule that can penetrate and hydrate the skin. The only benefit of this eye creme is the concealer aspect.....so just buy a concealer.

I love olay products this isn't doing it

I bought this a couple months ago and when i tried it the first time as soon as i applied it under my eyes it caked up the only thing it did for me was conceal a little darkness that's it . I paid all this money for 2 of them , I want my money back so maybe I can get another eye cream or some of my other favorites . This makes me sad

Disappointed

I bought this eye cream a little over 3 months ago and have yet to notice a difference in my dark circles. My aunt introduced me to Olay products 25 years ago and have been a constant user since. I just started needing to include an eye cream to my regimen due to long days. It would be great to see results with this product!

Orange under eyes!

I used this eye cream for the first time today. My Mom and I were out together and she asked what was under my eyes because it was orange! I didn't notice it in my bathroom mirror but it was obvious in different light!

I understand the concept of tinted under eye cream but it just isn't for me. Translucent cream is fine; I can use concealer in my preferred shade if I want to.

Is it me

I have used many Olay products, and appreciate the price. I do have dark circles under m eyes, but my skin is fair and thin, al blue veins show. This product is odd. he consistancy is thicker than eye creams I have used. In the morning it is caked and looks like three days of concealer not cleaned. I have to rub prety hard to get it off.

I thought I liked it...

I thought I liked this cream and had been using it about 11 days. All of a sudden, around day 7, the skin around my eyes started to BURN like it was on fire when I applied the cream. Tried applying the cream for 3 more days just to make sure I wasn't reacting to something besides the eye cream, but nope, it's the eye cream. Super disappointing

Just Okay

I was really looking forward to this product! I have the WORST dark circles/ redness under my eyes. When I first started using it I thought it would be my saving grace. It covered not all but some of the discoloration so still better than before. However, I didn't realize it's more like a concealer, it comes off when I wash my face. It also dries clumpy so when I went to put my normal make up over it I had to pick it off :( I was hoping for something that can actually treat it, especially for this price, so if anyone has anything that will do the trick let me know!!

I don't think I would buy this again

I really wanted this product to work because I've been dealing with dark circles all my life but sadly I am not noticing much of a difference. The other issue is it makes the skin under my eyes burn like crazy. That eventually goes away and I would be willing to deal with it if it made any difference with my dark circles but it isn't. Starting to feel like I wasted $30.

No results

I am an Olay Girl, all of my products for skin, bath and body/face are olay. So I am so surprised and disappointed in this eye product. I have been using it now for almost a month and have seen absolutely no results. And what's more, it makes my under eye appear greasy and darker and it makes my eyes water. I'm very surprised and let down especially considering the price point and it being an olay product.

Didn't work for me

Brand loyal, used two jars of the Ultimate Eye Cream religiously, have not seen a difference. Prior to this, I was using the Olay eye roller. I use the entire Regenerist brand cleanser, serum, eye & face cream, prior to that I used the 7 products for aging skin. I guess overall it has kept some of the signs of aging at bay, but this product is not what I expected for me. I thought I would have seen a huge difference in my eye area especially clearing up the dark circles and puffiness as stated.

I feel like I wasted my money

Firstly, I didn't know this had concealer so it's odd to use it at night. Second, today I applied it in the morning, waited 1 hour, and started my makeup regime: applied moisturizer and my usual liquid concealer (because this product doesn't have enough concealer on its own). With a small amount of concealer, it started making a paste in my undereyes! It looked awful...made my eye area look worse: cakey and with creases!

More like makeup than like skincare.

I definitely noticed the darkness around my eyes instantly reduced - because there is pigment in it. Later that day, I noticed that my undereyes were very dehydrated, which they are not usually. So I spread some on the back of my hand to see up close what happens when it's applied. It is a light concealer with some smoothing agent. Not sure that's a good thing to put on before bed.

Not for me

Olay Ultimate Eye Cream disappointed me b/c it did not help moisturize the delicate skin under my eyes. Within a few hours after applying in the morning, the skin under my eyes felt dry. At this point of my life, hydration is my #1 concern, and sadly, this eye cream fell short. I wish I could get a refund, but it's too late. Clearly, this product worked well for others, but not for me. My search for a great moisturizing eye cream continues.
