Olay Vitamin C + Peptide 24 Brightening Eye Cream 3-stars Reviews
My skin doesn't like it that much.
I received Olay Vitamin C + Peptide 24 Brightening Serum from PinchMe. I started using Olay products because of PinchMe. This is my first time trying Olay serum with fragrance. I really love the scent. First couple days applying it, it stings a little bit. and then 3rd day, my face stars to develop dry patches again. I keep using it but my skin keeps getting drier to the point it starts to peel. so I stop using it and after my face calms down, I try applying it once at night just to confirm if it's the serum and unfortunately it is because the next day, my face starts to peel again but not as bad as the first time. it's too bad my skin reacts like that. I can tell it brightens my skin a little so far. For the texture, it's not too heavy. it absorbs pretty well. It doesn't feel heavy on my skin at all.
Great Benefits but Undecided
I waited until I used almost the entire bottle of the Olay Regenerist Vitamin C + Peptide 24 Serum. I have used this twice a day as my primary serum. I really like it because it doesn't cause irritation on my sensitive skin. It has worked great to help with my hormonal ance which I wasn't expecting. As far as my melasma and evening out my skin tone I can't say it has helped though. My skin texture is definitely super smooth though. So it depends on what benefits you are looking for on whether or not I can suggest this.
Waiting on results
I received this product for free from PINCHme. This product is easy to use, as long as you know how to use a dropper. I like the cooling sensation it gives and it doesn't make my face feel greasy. However, I haven't seen any results yet. Maybe I haven't used it enough - I haven't done it daily like the directions say. Or maybe I haven't used it long enough to notice. I've only been using it for about a month. But I also haven't had any negative effects from it either. Hoping to see clearer results as I keep using it.
Didn't make any noticeable difference
The Olay Vitamin C + Peptide 24 Eye Cream has a nice consistency and smell. I am pleased that this eye cream didn't break my moisture barrier or make my skin red and sensitive because many other eye creams do. I give this product 3 stars because it didn't make my skin sensitive or breakout, but it also didn't make any noticeable difference from using a facial moisturizer under the eyes. I plan to stick to just using a face moisturizer or facial vitamin C serum since I did not see the benefit of adding a cream just for eyes to my skincare routine.
Unfortunately my skin just didn't like it
I was very excited to try the Olay Regenerist Vitamin C + Peptide 24 Serum as vitamin C is a proven skincare ingredient. The serum itself is easy to apply and absorbs into the skin nicely without leaving a sticky feeling as some vitamin C serums can. It also has a nice (though a bit on the strong side) citrus scent. The only issue was my skin did not seem to like this serum. I just kept on breaking out while using it. Unfortunately because of this, I can't speak to long term efficacy. (Although I will say, I have used vitamin C serums before and I seemed to have reached a plateau in seeing a major change in my skin, so I was hoping to see a change with this.) While this might not be for me, if you don't have issues with Olay products and want to give a vitamin C a try, I wouldn't steer you away from this.
Not for my eyes
The first night I applied this eye cream I liked the texture and it wasn't sticky or anything after it was absorbed. There's no fragrance which I am absolutely thrilled about but unfortunately the next morning I woke up with Milia so I couldn't continue using this product. This is a product that has good ingredients that I actually approve of but it just didn't work for me, however I do recommend giving it a try if you like eye creams. I received this OLAY VITAMIN C + PEPTIDE 24 EYE CREAM free from Pinch Me but this is my honest opinion.
Nice eye cream, not dramatic results
Lovely light gel texture with a cooling feeling. Doesn't tug when applying but layers well to get a good amount of product on the eye. Works well with my makeup, primers, and other skincare and haven't noticed any pilling so that's good! After using for a few weeks I haven't noticed any changes whatsoever in appearance of dark circles, wrinkles or crepe skin like I have with other brands (Algenist for one) but they haven't worsened either which means it's probably a great eye cream as well for someone who just wants a little extra moisture in a silky texture!

Honestly I didn't notice too much of a difference using it but it may be because I did not consistently use it as religiously as I probably should have. Besides that, I have sensitive skin/eyes so My main concern was that it would irritate my eyes since you have to rub it in so close to your actual eye, and it did not burn or leave any irritation or rash or bumps or anything! I used it exactly as directed and rubbed it in really well all throughout the corners of my eyes my eyelids and everything. I don't have too much of an issue with dark circles or needing my eyes brightened up very much but for those who need that help this might be a great product to try out!

I react to a lot of different things, so was slightly worried that the Olay Vitamin C + Peptide 24 Eye Cream would do the same. I was surprised at how I did not have a major reaction especially since it is used so close to my eyes. There is some tingling when it is first applied, but that does fade and doesn't have a lasting effect all day. I do question what results I am supposed to see from this cream. The packaging just says brightening eye cream, but I don't see any big differences with using it twice a day for a few weeks. I tend to look sleep deprived often, but some people have said that's allergies. I don't have puffy skin under my eyes, just dark circles. I guess I just would have liked the packing to give more of an idea of what results we can expect with proper use. Overall, it's not horrible, but I personally don't think I would purchase this product. Pictures are from before I began using the product, and after, you can determine if the results are worth it!

But it made me nervous using it- it states your skin is more sensitive to the sun while using this product and to use an SPF during use and for a week after use. I have fair skin and have had skin cancer in the past. Using this product is making me too anxious with the summer months, so I stopped after a week. I can't say whether or not it improved my skins appearance.. Maybe I'll try in the winter when I'm indoors more and SPF isn't so much of a worry.

When trying my free sample of the Olay Vitamin C + Peptide 24 Eye Cream provided by PINCHme I had high expectations with regards to its quality and effects. The texture of the product is nice, easy to apply and gets absorbed quickly. However, after using it for several weeks now (twice a day as directed) I do not see or feel any difference. I still have farily ddark rings under my eyes, my skin is exactly as it was before (with fine lines etc.) and really nothing changed. I did not have any negative effects either, but with no visible improvement I don't see a reason to spend money on the product either.
