Miracle shampoo
I have had super oily hair my whole life, where if i wash it in the morning, it's greasy by 5 pm. I have tried so many things, washing less, using shampoos without SLS, and nothing has helped. I've been using this for a week so far, washing every other day, and i washed yesterday and this morning, MY HAIR WAS NOT GREASY. My hair usually starts greasing up at 8 hours, and by 24 hours i'm using so much dry shampoo. Not today. My hair has some body to it and it's not greasy and stringy at the roots. I'm sold.
Color Safe
I needed a clarifying shampoo that wouldn't fade my color treated brown hair. This shampoo is great! It did what the description said it would.
This shampoo helped my psoriasis flare ups disappear!
I developed a psoriasis problem back in 2021. After going to a dermatologist, she recommended I taking care of my scalp health better in the future to prevent flare ups. So, I began researching what to use to clean out products in my scalp and found this! Game changer! Never going back and flare ups have not happened since using this product.
Hair Loss....
Well... I started out loving this. It smells great, left my hair feeling clean, but then I realized it was causing me to lose a lot of hair! Like, biiiiig clumps of hair. After I stopped using it, the hair loss stopped. Will not buy again.
I would never buy this again and I would discourage anyone
This shampoo made my hair fall out. I went to my hairdresser, and he told me he wished he knew sooner that I was using it because he would've told me to stop. I have massive bald spots now and it's awful.

I'm not a person that leaves reviews but y'all. Buy it. Right now. I dont think my hair has been this soft or shiny in my entire life. It feels so CLEAN!! Not to mention it smells amazing! This is about to be a staple in my Sunday reset for sure!
Hair loss!
I used this product twice. It left my hair extremely dry. It irritated my scalp. It was itchy and had pimple like bumps. I have now begun to lose a lot of hair. I returned the product and do not recommend.

I see comments saying their hair is drying out etc. you're literally just supposed to use a clarifying shampoo twice a month not daily. This is to remove build up and not a daily shampoo. This is a amazing clarifying shampoo. My hair comes to life after every use. Wont use nothing but this Ouai clarifying shampoo when i need a good cleansing
Eh… it's a pass for me
I bought the travel size as i am trying to find "the one" for my oily hair. It didnt work for me, but I could see it working for others.
It lathers VERY well so a little goes a long way. I have washed my hair several times and still have half the bottle.
That being said, my hair is SUPER oily. I have to wash every other day. I am looking for a shampoo to help witn that. Alas, this was not my match. Even with shampooing twice my hair is still prone to get greasy.
Probably not good for curly hair
Immediate after using this my hair was DRYYYY. Yes it clarifies but its VERY harsh. Ive tried to let it redeem itself a couple of times but it never fails to strip my hair down to absolute string. It took a while to get my hair back to a normal state. While I do have curly hair that is more prone to dryness, this level of dryness has never happened with other detox shampoos.

How To Use
Thoroughly wet hair from roots to ends with lukewarm water. Squeeze out excess moisture. Lather a quarter size amount of shampoo in hands. Part hair using fingers and apply shampoo as close to the scalp as possible. Let set for 1 to 3 minutes. Rinse. Squeeze out excess moisture before applying conditioner. Rinse with cold water to close the hair cuticle and added shine.
Precautions: Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse well with water.
