I like it

Its a great product if you know how to use it, do NOT use it on dry hair or your hair will become crunchy and stiff, if you apply righr after a shower and blowdry or air dry you will have sone very nice defined waves in your hair. This is one of the only products ive found that has managed to keep the waves all day long. My hair is as straight as it can get for reference.

Amazing product if you use it right!

I have naturally curly hair and I LOVE this spray. I use it religiously and always get compliments. You can use it wrong though and I think that's why there are some poor reviews. I highly recommend using it after a leave in conditioner and on fully wet hair, do NOT use on dry or damp hair. I spray it on, brush through my hair a few times with a wide tooth comb, and let air dry. I dont recommend touching your hair unless for a gentle curl assist, then once dry, go to your roots to create volume by rubbing your fingers on your scalp to separate the curls (only at the roots!).

Adds definition to waves

I have wavy hair and I use this to enhance/define my natural waves. I usually use it on dry hair, and it gives body and textured beach waves. That said, it's definitely a texturizer and not a moisturizer, so it can be a little drying, opposite of silky. Works great if you want more body/definition in your hair.

I'm not sure about the "spray it into the roots for volume" claim- spraying in the roots doesn't do much for me. Also, I like the scent a lot, but if you don't like perfume/strong fragrance it it may not be for you.

I love how this product feels in my hair. I've had several compliments on how beautiful my hair looks. In addition, the scent is phenomenal. I loved the scent so much, I purchased perfume with the same scent.

great for curly hair

i really like this wave spray for my fine, medium density curly hair. i'm always looking for products that enhance my curls and add volume, not weight. to apply i spray it through my damp, detangled hair and then layer gel over it. i style with my hands and diffuse it dry with a blow dryer. when it's fully dry i shake it out and bam, instant curls with body and bounce. doesn't weigh down my fine hair like creams and doesn't get sticky like other texture sprays.

Leaves hair smooth!

Don't expect this product to make your hair wavy if you don't have natural wavy hair. I bought this to enhance my waves AFTER using a curling iron. I have really dry ends and even with using hair tools my hair always ends up frizzy. I used the wave spray to hydrate the ends and it actually made my hair sooo much smoother and shiny! My waves last a long longer as well. I love this bottle so much. It never leaves my hair sticky or hard but I think that's because I don't over use the product. Definitely recommend!

Silky wavy hair all day.

I absolutely love this product. My daughter has waist length hair that is super thick. We spritz the Ouai Wave Spray while the hair is damp, scrunch it with our hands and actually have 'beach waves' all day. It has a light scent that is NOT coconut which in our experience is what most wave sprays tend to smell like. I think the best part is that the hair feels silky..not dried out or stiff. This is definitely a new favorite for us!

This product delivers! 

You have to use this product according to the instructions for it to be effective. I have thick short, natural wave hair. The reason I bought it is so I don't have to put too much product in it and I can just spray it in and go. This product delivers and is affective. Not sticky, lightweight, And works wonders. I spray it in my hair when it's damp and I spray a little bit couple of sprays in my hand and then I start running it through my hair. Working it in making sure the product reaches all of my hair from roots to ends. This product delivers on ads promise. You will get waves and definition if you use the product correctly. You're supposed to shake the bottle as well. Before dispensing it use sparingly as you don't need a lot of the product. It is a wonderful product. I don't care for the scent, but it does go away in a hour or so, give it a try. Alta has a great return policy and it's a winner!

I use a variety of products when I wash my hair and am always looking for one that I can use in dry hair as I don't wash my hair every day.

I tried it for the first time today and I am amazed at how great my curls looked. Not stiff or sticky .

I've been wanting to try this wave spray for a while. Personally I love the smell and don't have any issues with it being sticky. Used it after I used my hair waver and it looks perfect! Added a great amount of texture and lasted all day.
