cute palette!!

a friend gave me this palette as a birthday gift last year and i was looking into this brand's products and saw this and decided to leave a review!

the top right powder is not one i typically use as i have oily skin. its a bit hard to pick up on the brush but i suppose that's because im a loose powder girly 😅 if you just like a light powder, it's perfect!

the blush is cute! it's subtle but buildable! it's not super buttery (a thing i prefer) but it's still pretty.

the top middle highlight is very subtle and definitely more for the people that prefer a gentle glow.

the bottom middle gold highlight is more glowy but doesn't work the greatest with my complexion 🥲 (would be cute as a shimmer eyeshadow though!)

the bronzers are my go to in this palette!! i love the matte bronzer for contour and the butter bronzer for when i just need a bit of warmth! the texture is so wonderful and it's definitely my favorite part of this palette!!

3 stars because i don't use every product but your experience could be a lot different than mine!

too much glitter

While I loved the idea of the palette, it turns out that four of the six options are glittery, and the glitter is not subtle. I use the two matte options every day, and hope that the one sparkly option I attempt doesn't make me look ridiculous.

Ok

I got this for Christmas 2022.

This is ok. I love the butter bronzer and the matte monoi bronzer so I love that those bronzers are baked in this palette. The blush isn't blush isn't very nice and since the blush is also with highlighter I don't get much blush on my brush and when I dip into the mineral glow pearls with a dirty brush that highlighter takes of the dirty makeup.

Its okay, but not great

Ive used Physicians Formula products for years and usually, im not disappointed. Im hoping the point of thos pallette is for minimal looks, because you cant even really see it. I tried it on my face and also my daughters, abd you can barely see any summertime glow. I love the mood boosting blush. I have the full size of that one.

All-Star Face Palette

The Murumuru bronzer gives a neutral tan color to my skin with a satin finish and a hint of shimmer for that "J.Lo" glow. The Monoi bronzer has a smooth, dry texture that applies well. The color payoff is soft enough for someone like me who has fair skin. Yet, you can build up the intensity if you wish. The Rose All Day highlighter gives my skin a nice, even shimmer. The Mood Boosting Blush gives my cheeks a natural flush. The Mineral Glow Pearls adds a warm glow to my complexion. Finally, the face powder blends onto my skin neutrally and leaves my face looking softly translucent.

Great Value

I used this palette twice and I love all the shades. Only problem I had was the smell. It's really perfuming for me. It messes with my allergies. If you can bypass the perfume smell then by all means it's a great pallets. The pigment isn't harsh where a little is like bam. You can build the color if it isn't enough for you.

It's okay

The bronzers and blush in here are great. The rose highlight shade is probably to dark for fair skin tones. I'm light medium and it looks kind of weird of me. The white highlight shade looks so promising but it's all glitter and it's just an over cast too. It honestly looks like tinker bell farted on your face. I ruined my whole makeup by applying this unknowing how it would spread all over.

i picked up this pallet think the bronzer blush and top highlight would be perfect for me but realized the pearl shade is actually very dark when you dip your brush in the white comes off! but other than that its a very pretty pallet!

Misleading overspray

Upset with the mineral flow pearl highlight shade, it is actually a dark gold shade with a silver sparkle overspray. I was really looking forward to this palette for that shade and it is too dark for my skin tone. Not enough difference between the two highlight shades.
