HOURGLASS Ambient Strobe Lighting Powder

I already liked Hourglass, so decided to try this. GORL. Quite literally everything i wanted and needed in a highlighter, this is it. It gives a soft, subtle glow that when hitting the light just right, absolutely gorgeous. This could be classified as a "clean girl" highlight since its not BAM in your face. Truly an everyday staple that adds a bit of glow to your makeup. I was hesitant to try bc of the price, but its so worth it. Love how there really isnt any "pigment" to it, its just a versatile glow that could work for pale-tan skin (im not sure how the other shades look since i only have one, but its worth a try).

Smooths out the skin…makes cheeks feel soft too….I got the medium color to set my whole face and it disappears into the skin and doesn't change my medium dark foundations by making them darker. This powder also feels weightless under the eyes and didn't make my under eyes feel dry, although I am not a baker I did pack on the powder a bit a time to see what it felt like building it up and it still feels lightweight under the eye. The packaging is also nice, not bulky with a sleek soft rubberized feel to the top on the container as well as the actual box it comes in is soft and smooth feeling. I am VERY happy with my purchase and will continue to buy again.

I'm still not entirely sure I'm using these powders right, but I still think they add such a nice touch to makeup looks. Definitely don't try to use them as setting powders to lock in makeup because they're not meant to do that, and it won't help you with prolonging wear time. If you end up near a lot of light later on, you'll end looking like a disco ball when it hits your face and you have one of these applied all over — they might look practically invisible when you're applying then, but trust me, under bright lights or when you find yourself near a lamp or any other kind of light (especially if it's night) you will definitely notice the luminosity an ambient lighting powder adds to your face. So only apply this to parts of your face you actually want a glow on. This is the...
LORAC PRO Loose Setting Powder

This is hands down the best loose powder. I was a faithful user of L.M. until I tried this. I have a warm medium skin tone and bought in brulee. It is a perfect match and doesn't change the color of my makeup. It somehow blurs and makes my skin look flawless and stays like that all day. I have oily skin and this is great for that meaning it does not make it worse and my makeup looks better for way longer than LM. I am really sensitive to products as far as break outs and I get zero break outs from this. I am in my early 40s and the blurring effect from this means I don't think anyone's wrinkles would stand out more, I think it would improve the look of them.i just ordered my 2nd of this product and I never plan to be without it.

I was devastated when my previous favorite powder was reformulated. I still had an almost full container of it however, I was determined to find a new favorite powder. This powder blows the other one out of the water. And in the process of finding a replacement powder I purchased I think 6 to 7 popular powders. Whilee the Chanel powder is very different than the other one, it actually exceeds it by a mile. It actually keeps me matte throughout the whole day. if you don't want a matte face then I would not recommend this powder. But if you want the best, most smoothing, oil controlling powder then this is it!!

This is hands down my fav face powder ever! I love the glow from within look it gives. I love setting my face but looking glowy and dewy still. If you do too then this is the powder for you! However, I don't think this is not the right powder to bake your face and set the under eye at all. This is a reflective powder, no glitters at all but there is a shine to it. The best way I have to use this is to use a fine translucent powder to set my under eyes and any areas that tend to crease (forehead and smile lines). I then grab a loose fluffy face brush and swirl it into this product and dab it all over my face even on top on my under eyes. This makes my skin look so healthy and glowy. Love it! Hope that helps!!
HOURGLASS Ambient Lighting Infinity Powder

Okay so I am a big fan of hourglass powders but this is the best one I've ever used by far. I was skeptical at first because it looks like a bronzer in the pan and everybody was using it online as a setting powder. Well I bought that Foundation that you see advertised endlessly called il makiage and it was the best foundation ever but I needed something to set it with that wouldn't settle and to find lines and all of that. I have fair skin with cool undertones and I've decided to break out this powder and try it. I used this powder to set my entire face after my foundation and I've never gotten so many compliments on my skin. It looked so good, and I'm 53, that I had to do a double take a couple of times because my skin was glowing so beautifully even at the end of the day when I was...

I have this product in Soft & Gentle and it is one of the best investments you can make. It's so versatile! It is great as a wet or dry highlighter (I find that an angled brush is best for application right above the cheekbones). It is also great as an eyeshadow, whether you want a shimmery color or a very subtle glow on your eyelids. You can also spot some of this in the middle of your lips to make them appear more full. Of course, you can also brush some on the collarbones or a plunging neckline with a big fluffy brush. This product really lasts through my long twelve hour days without any touching up (except the lips, of course). Highly recommended!
