It Gave Me an Allergic Reaction

Contains Chlorphenesin (a synthetic preservative), which I've since learned causes allergic contact dermatitis in some individuals, such as myself. Not a fun experience and I do not recommend this product to anyone who has sensitive skin or is prone to eczema or contact dermatitis. This has been my first experience with such a thing, and I never wish to repeat it.

Not translucent

I am self tanned but I still only wear a light to medium foundation shade because I don't go that dark. I bought this solely to take down the shine from my spf and I got the shade translucent. It definitely is not, it's basically straight up white. Totally unwearable, made me look like a ghost and it is on the heavy/cakey side.

Cakey

Was looking for a new powder to replace my covertoxten50 powder. I'm only 32 with good skin, but this powder caked into every imperfection, acne scar, and fine line, making me look like I was 20 years older than I am. Not cute. I wish they would bring the covertoxten50 powder back because it was much better than this heavy cake.

Misses the mark

I want to start by saying I LOVE PF... especially the best bronzer EVER! But, this powder just doesn't cut it. The translucent powder still shows white. I have been using less and less each time, but it does not blend well. There are other powders out there that are a better quality and better price. Sad, but pass on this one.

Disappointed

I had high hopes for this powder but it just doesn't work for me. The translucent shade isn't translucent and leaves me looking sickly white. For reference, I have NW20 so I'm pretty light as it is. This will not work for anyone who's doesn't have a fair skin tone. It also caked around my nose and accentuated my pores. Hard pass for me.

Changed formula

I LIVED for this pressed powder it gave amazing coverage, without being cakey, and was affordable and available at drug stores. Now they changed the formula and it's extremely cakey, not as much coverage, and all over awful compared to how it used to be! So disappointed! I'll never go back, I've switched to bare minerals and it's 100000X better!

Not for me

This stuff hates my skin. I've tried it a few times and at first application, I do get that airbrushed look but as the day goes on, it dries out my skin even more than it already is. I only bought it because I ran out of my favorite powder, which I can only get online. I will not be repurchasing..I can't even get it to wipe away, so using this as a setting powder is a bad idea.

Looks like they have changed the formula??

So sorry to hear they changed the formula!! Been using this compact powder for twenty years and it worked so very well. The product they are trying to replace it with will not be the same since it is cakey--will not bother to buy it now. The compact powder use to come in at least three shades and I used the beige which worked very well for me. Don't know what to buy now.

Used to be great

I've used this powder for years. It used to give light coverage and managed shine. I absolutely loved it. I'm convinced the formula has changed. Now, no matter how I apply it, the powder accentuates every pore and flaw. *Caution: pores in mirror are bigger than they appear.* I look worse with the powder on than with nothing at all. I thought the last compact might be defective. I broke it, so I bought another one. Same awful powder. Won't be repurchasing.

Smelled terrible and caused breakouts

I bought this hoping to find a new powder foundation that would sit well on my sensitive, acne-prone skin (since this product doesn't have talc which dries me out). First off, it was difficult to pick up the product with my brush, and most of it fell off the side. As I tried putting it on, the second thing was the SMELL. This terrible, metallic-y scent that wouldn't go away. Even my boyfriend noticed and made a comment. It lightly stung my face throughout the 5 hours I had it on and I noticed several pimples coming up on my forehead, temples, and cheeks. They went away after I stopped using this foundation. Do not recommend!!

Okay powder, not great, just okay.

I purchased this in light to use as a setting powder. I tried this over two other brands' liquid foundations with different consistencies and over PF mineral powder foundation. I disliked it all. The finish was gorgeous when it was first applied, but creased under my eyes horribly and caked up everywhere else after an hour or two. Also this product contains glitter, not just a light shimmer. I will not repurchase.

Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Airbrushing - Creamy Natural

I don't know if the problem is this product or my skin, but I've never had any face powder behave like this. I do have oily skin.

It looked good at first, and that lasted about 2 minutes.

It's like my skin is covered in teflon - the initial coverage seems fine... until I move my face, touch my face, put on sunglasses, etc. Even the slightest contact wipes it off leaving a bare, shiny trail in the middle of otherwise good coverage. It settles into every pore or line on my face, leaving tracks of make-up that have to be wiped off or polka dots indicating where every pore is on my nose and cheeks.

Arriving at a restaurant for lunch, I took off my sunglasses only to have my friend reach over and wipe at the lines of powder that had formed everywhere my sunglasses came into contact with my face. Gross/embarrassing.

I've had much better luck with Neutrogena Healthy Skin Blends and L'Oreal True Match powders.

Very disappointed

I bought this hoping/thinking it would be a nice powder finish. Wrong thought. I use a good brush, not the one included and it just seems to go on heavy and thick, and does leave a kind of shine. Hard to blend, almost like the powder granules are too big. I had also purchased the Revlon age defying powder and that one gets the job done and looks so much better. This Physicians Formula product is being tossed in the trash.

Heavy!

It may be me here but I absolutely hated it and returned it. I got it because the ingredients sounded safe and natural, but...

I bought the translucent and it was a medium beige color that DOES show up. The thing that most bothered me is that it highlights all the facial hair and gives a really unnatural look. It's definitely more a foundation that a powder, as it's not lightweight.

Made my Pores look huge!

I've heard good reviews on this product and generally like PP products! This one was a major fail for me. I have combo skin, and was looking for a good powder foundation with an spf, this one looked good. It has some light shimmer in it, and while I love a nice shimmer/highlight, this was terrible. It emphasized my pores, I swear I could see every one and they looked huge! And highlighted any wrinkles/expression creases that I made during the day. I tried it with various primers, moisturizers etc... I really did want to like this product! Major fail for me!

Good from far away.

I don't use foundation so maybe it's because I used this as a powder with only concealer underneath, but it did not look good at all. I barely patted it maybe three times on my face when it created this blotchy mess that I tried to blend it out, couldn't stand it anymore, and then washed my face because it looked that unnatural. This is definitely for a more medium-full coverage look that has some sort of base underneath so the powder can grab onto it. I do NOT recommend this for those going for the more natural look.

Nice finish but too sparkly

I used this translucent powder to set my liquid foundation. It went on beautifully but caked up after an hour or two even with a primer. I also saw under eye lines and wrinkles that I previously never had with other powders. Lastly, the airbrush finish is pretty but there is glitter in this powder. Glitter, not just shimmer. I ove Physicians Formula, but will not repurchase this powder.

Nice Coverage, but Clogs Pores

I'm an adult with oily/acne prone skin and keep it very clear and managed with a daily prescription. I used this product for 2 days and my pores became clogged and my skin began to break out so I had to return it. HOWEVER, I DO like the way it went on smooth and had great coverage, but it was not the product for me...maybe it's better for normal skin.
