Don't know what I'd do without this product

I have very sensitive, oily, breakout-prone skin and on top of that I am extremely pale with yellow undertones. I have used so many different kinds of mineral makeup and they either break me out, make me look greasy within an hour, accentuate the texture of my skin, make my pores look huge, or the lightest shade is still too dark, too pink, or too orange.

The translucent shade matches me perfectly. No more orange or pink face with my white/yellow neck. Besides the relieving color match this stuff makes my skin look airbrushed. It is the only powder that has successfully blurred the large pores on my nose. The coverage is phenomenal and I use this alone as my foundation. I was worried about the lauroyl lysine breaking me out but no breakouts, no irritation, no itching. Also for some people saying this doesn't work well for them try to make sure your skin is properly primed. I first used this on bare skin and hated how it looked and almost tossed it but after that I made sure I was moisturized and wore a primer and the result was a complete 180.

Best powder ever!!

I absolutely love this stuff!! I use it as a foundation....with no concealer and my skin looks amazing. Strangers often stop me to tell me my skin is so pretty...it's Physician's Formula! I own a ton of high end makeup but, it's this that gets me the most compliments! I use mineral wear in translucent, mineral wear in beige for a bronzer, butter glow powder in translucent (gives me a softer glow-y face) mineral pearls in translucent for a highlighter, and mood boosting blush in natural. I apply with a flat top powder brush and use a setting spray to finish. Also, being fair skinned, I love that it has spf built in.

A Forever Standby product

I wore this for a couple of years and recently returned to it after trying out other brands. The ingredients are minimal and clean. Yet, the product is similar in coverage and quality to MAC StudioFix powder foundation. I like this way, way more than it Cosmetics, another clean brand I tried. Coverage is buildable and looks dewy and natural. I apply with a Kabuki brush.

Physicians formula is a great brand. Drugstore option that is not too expensive.. Feels very high quality. Be. I like the fact that the ingredients do not include talc. Theres a nice sized morror included with a brush. Another, Bonus about this product is it can be used as a setting powder or also as a light coverage foundation.

Holy grail

This powder is my holy grail for foundation. I have a very oily forehead and nose by mid day and since I started using this my forehead and nose stay matte longer. It gives you a beautiful pore less finish and the color "translucent" is not actually translucent but a very light skin color. I am very pale with warm/neutral tones and most powders and foundation's are too pink or orange for me. This one matches perfectly and looks stunning on my skin.

Loving the spf!

This is the first affordable powder I've come across with spf.

It wears nicely with or without makeup even comes with a mini brush in its compact so it's great for on the go.

It doesn't look chalky or sit on top of my skin like most powders too.

I have normal to dry skin and every powder I've tried just sits on top, this one's melts into my skin!

This is one of the most versatile and underrated products in the market! It is a beautiful powder that gives an airbrushed finish to the skin when used alone or to set foundation. It can be easily applied with a large fluffy brush for a sheer finish to smooth the appearance of skin and even tone. For fully coverage, it smoothly applies with a cosmetic puff for buildable medium-to-full coverage. It easily conceals blemishes and discoloration on the skin without the use of additional concealer. It is also good for use in the delicate under eye area. It does not become cakey or settle in fine lines in my experience. It is not shimmery or glittery but leaves a satin finish to the skin. It creates the perfect base for makeup application. The only issue I have noticed with this product is oxidation, or an orange tone to the skin, after extended wear over foundation. Therefore, I usually wear it alone over moisturizer. I have found this does provide an appropriate amount of color correction and coverage for my personal needs. For reference, I use self tanner throughout the year and my skin tone range varies from Fair-Light Neutral in winter to Light-Medium Neutral in the summer. I use bronzer over this powder for depth in the summer but do not find it has a white cast or is too pale for darker Light-Medium skin tones. The compact has a small compartment under the powder to store the small brush included with the packaging. I find this brush too small to be effective and store my powder puff in this area for travel. The wear is long lasting. The product is easily found in pharmacies and local chain retailers at a modest price point. There is some fall out and waste when used with a brush, but this is a good value overall.

Mineral wear talc free in translucent

Wow!!!!! This powder is the best powder so far I have tried. I have used high end and this powder looks and feels it should be high end. It stays put and have not had any issues with touching up throughout the day, even my mask does not smudge it. I feel that there is a trick to this, it's a mineral powder so it needs buffing. The shade translucent should be called fair it adds full coverage and it's awesome. Just make sure to buff this in like you would with bare minerals. It's not drying and looks flawless. I wish more powders would be like this it's good for combination dry skin. Never discontinue this product.

I'm a gal that

I'm a gal that loves budget looks and also pricey items depending on the occasion. PF has always been a great drug store find becuase it is so good and it actually works. It does not break you out! There are a few brands out there that will break you out and work , but this one is the opposite. It's super airbrushed look and the pressed powder just glides on.

The price point is amazing, by the way and there are always sales.

I looove this product!

I looove this product! I've struggled with finding the best powder for my oily and sometimes dry skin, everything always looks patchy and doesn't do my face any good. This powder blends out all my oil and leaves my face poreless and also adds some bronzing! The only thing i wish it would do more is covering redness a bit more!

I've worn this powder

I've worn this powder since my teen years. My skin is very sensitive and this has never broken me out. It gives my skin a smooth finish and has pretty long wear time, although it doesn't last all day on my oily skin without a reapplication. Still, it's my go-to powder and I hope they never discontinue it.

Great Powder Foundation

I have been using IT Celebration Foundation for years, but have recently noticed that the formula seemed different and was no longer working for me I have been trying other powder foundations to replace it and tried Phycians Formula Mineral Wear Powder. I was pleasantly surprised with the results. It gives me full coverage for my dark spots and redness. It also gives my face a flawless finish. It is a good foundation for the price. I use a make-up sponge to press in and apply the foundation and then brush on a small amount for a nice finish. The only down side is the lack of color choices. I wish Phycians Formula would offer more colors for this foundation.

My favorite powder in

My favorite powder in the whole world! This product works wonders on my combination skin to make it look flawless. I would say that it stays on all day and goes on nicely to your skin. I would definitely recommend this to others!

I really like that

I really like that this powder includes SPF and is talc free. Those things alone make it very rare among drugstore powders. I used it to dry up my oils during the day and top off my SPF (after having used lotion SPF in the morning) and it served me well for that purpose over makeup. I would definitely recommend it if you're looking for something like that.

This brand has a really great variety of face powders. This product is really soft and smooth on my skin. I have combination skin and it did not clog my pores. I like to use this over make up to set it but I also like to use it alone on days where I want a natural look. I like that it is not heavily scented. It blends really well.

Great for sensitive skin!

Works better than my "high end" products and costs much less. It's the only product that does not make my face greasy. I'm allergic to the planet earth, but have no problems with this product and it has SPF. The colors work for me but expanding the color range would be great. I apply it with a buffing foundation brush and it makes my not flawless skin look great.

This is my best kept...

This is my best kept secret for years. I dont even need setting powder this has the same consistency of the butter bronzer and it kind of melts into your skin to look exactly like your skin texture but it is also so pigmented that it covers any imperfections. Its also great for sensitive skin. And its such a fair price compared to the smashbox version, which actually did make me break out

Like magic! In love!

This powder is truly my favorite and I like it more than luxury brands I've tried. The second it touches my skin its transformed and any imperfections just seem to disappear like magic. It wears long and gives some extra coverage without being heavy or adding too much. Please Physicians Formula do not discontinue or change this product.

Because my skin has...

Because my skin has become dry, it has not been looking that great with my previous mineral makeup (with moisturizer), or even liquids for that matter, and I was debating whether I needed to give up on powders. I saw this product and thought I'd try it. It gives beautiful creamy-looking coverage and finish that is not at all cakey or thick-looking. I love that it does not contain parabens, talc, glycols, etc. and that it does include botanicals and some moisture which works beautifully on my sensitive, dry skin. The look is superb, and the best I have seen my skin look in a very long time.

Absolutely love this...

Absolutely love this product!!!! The color is use is Beige though and it matches my skin color. Doesnt leave skin looking with too much product on it. Very light on the skin. I recommend these to my customers and they come back to thank me for their most recent switch to the product I suggested!!! Yay!!! :)
