well done product

I'm someone who has gotten really into the dewy makeup look, and as such I had noticed that my bronzer was starting to look a little off. It turns out that using a matte bronzer is a better option for me, that I discovered thanks to this product that was kindly gifted by physicians formula.

The product is packaged so cute, and I felt a smidge of guilt dipping my brush into the beautiful print on the bronzer itself! This does indeed have a scent although it is slightly different from the OG bronzer. I want to say it is stronger, but it could be that my other bronzer is older perhaps?

On my fair neutral skin tone, the bronzer does pull a bit warm, but I don't find it to be orange or unnatural. I would not recommend it for contour, but it is beautiful on the perimeter of the forehead and around the cheekbones.

While it includes a small brush for travel, I personally prefer to use a big fluffy brush to distribute the product more naturally.

My only drawback to this product would be that the packaging is indeed on the larger side. This doesn't have to be a dealbreaker, but it does mean it takes up more room in traveling. Overall, I would give it a solid 5 stars with a note of that caveat (and scent, for those with sensitive skin). I do think it compares to higher priced formulas on the market!

Amazing bronzer

The Murumuru Butter Bronzer by Physicians Formula is soo good. First of all it literally IS like butter, the formula is very soft to the touch and has a slight scent but not strong at all. I would say this shade is a cool toned bronzer that goes well on pale skin or even tanned. One swipe gives a great payout color but can be built up. I have used this as bronzer and eyeshadow and looks great for both. I'm impressed with the packaging too, a mirror is included right underneath the bronzer which is great for on the go. It also came with a small sponge but I preferred applying it with a brush. This bronzer is amazing! It's very complete, the color is beautiful, and of great quality. A plus is that it's cruelty free.

Smooth application nice shimmer

I went ahead and added this after placing my liquid foundation on and setting it with powder. It gave a nice shimmer to my cheek bones and really made my makeup look stand out. Even used a bit as eyeshadow on top my eyelids and it was subtle. I don't really go for a glam look, so it was nice to add to my natural everyday makeup routine. I suggest adding it with a blush brush or even a beauty blender to blend it out. It comes in a nice compact container which I just put in my purse or makeup bag for a little touch up during the day.

Butter bronzer is the best!

There is NO other bronzer I will ever use. First off- physicians formula is the best product. Their bronzer has always been my favorite and my go-to. The packaging is cute- it featured a little mirror and sponge in the bottom compartment to apply the bronzer. I personally love the sponge as I use the edge to cut the crease and then work it in to my face. It takes zero effort to use and apply. The bronzer blends in beautifully and adds the perfect amount of shade and glow and never appears to be fake. It smooths the skin rather than sitting on top of it like most products. It blends seamlessly into your own skin and smooths the texture. I've always felt it had a very pleasant and light smell to it as well. There isn't a better bronzer on the market that is such excellent quality and value.

Colors are a hit. Smell is a flop.

I was really excited for this set. The colors are great. I love that there are two shimmery ones and two matte in a range of 4 tones for the set. They applied nicely too. But unfortunately, this set is not something I can use because it is so strongly scented. It smells like sunscreen, or Shea butter. Kind of tropical. Not off putting on it's own, but very strong for makeup. I'm scent sensitive, and get migraines easily. I couldn't tolerate it on my forearm for more than 10 minutes. I can't imagine how strong it would be on my face. Even if I wasn't scent sensitive, having this strong of a scent in makeup is not ideal. It competes so much with any existing hair product (also typically scented), and forget adding a scented lotion or perfume. Unfortunately, due to the scent, this was not something I am keeping for my makeup bag. If the scent is a non-issue for you, the product is a good one.

Beautiful pigments

This is your all-in-one face palette that has everything you need to enhance your makeup routine. I am a busy mom and am always on the go. I love that this palate has a2 shades of bronzer, a blush, and a highlighter all in one beautifully designed box. The colors go on easily and last all day. The colors are also highly pigmented, so a little goes a long way. The application is smooth and feels weightless on my face. I typically use the lighter shade bronzer for the day and for work. For the evening, I use the darker bronzer. The included highlighter complements both bronzers and the blush very well. This has become a staple in my makeup routine, and I carry an extra palate in my purse if touch-ps are needed or if I'm headed out for the evening. It blends well and matches my skin tone beautifully. I have even used the darker bronzer and the blush as eyeshadow. I love the versatility of this palate and the many color combinations that can be achieved just by the dab of a brush.

Highly Pigmented

This set of Physicians Formula best selling highlighter, bronzers, and blush is a great palette for anyone looking to add a nice glow to their skin. I am fair skinned, and the colors work wonderfully with my skin tone. I typically use the light bronzer for daily looks, but the deep bronze works well with my skin tone too if I am going for a more dramatic look. The formula applies very smoothly and is highly pigmented, making this palette comparable with high end products. This product is scented, which doesn't bother me, but could be a downfall for others who are sensitive to scented products. I am highly impressed with this palette and the Physicians Formula brand!

LOVE!

I'm a MN gal and I love to add a little bronzer when my skin is looking glum! I've tried other bronzers and they are too sparkly or too dark. This one provides a very natural look. For reference I have medium/fair skin in the winter. It also smells so good! I had to take a 2nd sniff because I wasn't expecting it to smell like summertime! The scent is divine and not overpowering, I only notice it when I put it on. I use my own brush to apply it, but it does come with an applicator. I like the easy to use compact that it is in and that it has a mirror. I'm very impressed with this product!

This product arrived to me in perfect conditions. The formula is really soft and buttery, and the fragrance is quite nice. Very happy with this product. But I need to say something about the shade match: if you have an olive/ golden skin tone, or if you have the average southern European/Mediterranean pale skin and like a chiselled contour, or a golden tan finish, this shade may be to light for you. I have pale skin with an yellowish undertone, I like subtle makeup finish, and the fact that this shade doesn't really stand out, makes it great for me. But if you're not about natural makeup looks, try the darker shade.

This used to be

This used to be one of my favorite bronzers, I have repurchased it at least three times; however, there are a few cons that have prevented me from continuing to repurchase it. First off, the packaging is very bulky and always breaks. I feel like the sponge applicator is quite useless and therefore wasteful. In addition, the clear plastic part always breaks. You can pop it back in but it doesn't make for the best user experience. The product itself used to be amazing. I loved the tone and it provided a nice satin finish without being glittery. I'm not sure if they have reformulated it, but my latest product was significantly more powdery and had a lot of kick up, an issue I did not have before.

Okay

Bought this bronzer hoping it's be nice for daily use as an affordable option. The smell is nice, definitely heavily scented with tropical sunscreen tones. The pigment is light, but buildable and creamy. There is a shimmer to it. I overall think it is okay for the price point and lasting power, but it makes such a mess! One swipe with a brush has soooo much fall out. Avoid wearing anything light while applying and I feel like I need to close my eyes. Not sure if I would repurchase since it had so much fall out and tend to avoid heavily fragrant products given sensitive skin.

Loving this Murumuru Butter blush!

Physicans Formula has always been one of my favorite cosmetics brands. Especially because their cosmetic products also have skin care benefits as well. This Murumuru Butter Blushes also haveCupuaçu Butter, & Tucuma Butter which are extracted from the rainforest and have hydrating properties. Out of all the colors, I got Plum rose. It has a super soft texture, and applies so well to the skin. It has a radiant luminous finish, and almost goes onto my skin like a cream because of all the moisturizing ingredients. Amazing blush

Buttery soft

I received this product complimentary from Physicians Formula in exchange for my honest review and I am so glad I was because this bronzer is buttery soft and applies like a dream. It glides right over the skin and blends easily. It's easily to create a sun kissed glow or a deep tan with its buildable formula. This bronzer smells like a tropical vacation which was a nice surprise and treat every single time I opened the compact. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I like this bronzer and will continue to purchase it after running out for sure.

Soooooo soft and buttery

This is the infamous butter bronzer that everyone's holy grail bronzer from drugstore. First impression is that it is Very fragrant. I don't mind but for those who do, I could smell the sweet scent before I even open the package. I like fragrance so I don't mind and the texture is absolutely buttery. The powder is sooooo soft and so finely milled. It goes on very pigmented on my very fair skin. It's a tad bit yellower than I'd like on my very very pale skin that runs a bit pink. I was gifted by Physicians Formula this Light Bronzer in exchange for a review.

Creamy, leaves skin glowing

I love this bronzer, it's creamy, buttery and smells yummy, very tropical like coco butter.

I am very tanned at the moment so this product is too light as a bronzer for me but it does work really well as an all over finishing powder and even as a foundation. Yes I used it all over my face as a foundation and it's great and feels good on. I think it would be great as a highlighter too as it has a shimmery look to it. I will use as bronzer when I get lighter.

I love it comes with an applicator and mirror too. They entire packaging is beautiful.

I used the included sponge applicator it came with to apply it and it actually works great.

I am happy with this product as I have found multiple use for it.

Deep shade has lovely texture

This is my first time using any of Physicians Formula's products.

The bronzer is packaged in a lightweight compact and includes an oval-shaped, sponge-tipped applicator as a "brush".

Though the package says "brush", there aren't any bristles. The applicator, which comes wrapped in protective plastic, is encased at the bottom of the compact.

The first thing that I noticed with the bronzer: The coconut-sunscreen fragrance is strong and lingers.

I selected the shade using the brand's stock photo. I chose Deep. I'm a woc; my shade is NC55. In the pan, this bronzer is closer to NC43.

However, swatched on my arm and face, the shade is even lighter and closer to NC35. There's an ashy-gray powder that comes through the more I blend. The first ingredient is talc.

The bronzer is so silky and, pardon the pun, buttery-smooth. I really love the way it feels. I had no issues blending because the formula is really nice!

It has gold micro-glitter for a shimmery glow that I can see in the compact but not on my skin.

Overall, I'm intrigued by the formula so might consider getting the shade 'Sculpting Bronzer' since that is a true deep shade.

Great Bang for your Buck

Gifted by Physicians Formula, I unfortunately was sent the incorrect shade but I still wanted to give this product a chance. Starting off with the texture it's extremely buttery soft to the touch very nice quality. I used it as a eye shadow cause the shade was to dark but it glides on so smoothly. Really need little to no work to blend in. The smell is very delightful too. Overall this is a great product for the price point. I think it would work beautifully on the skin if I was given the right shade.
