Good alternative to disposable cotton pads/wipes

These makeup remover pads are gentle and soft and work well to remove stubborn eye makeup. They have held up well with multiple uses and multiple hand washes. Definitely a good alternative to disposable cotton pads or makeup wipes. My only issue with them is cleaning: the instructions say hand wash only, but I've had a really difficult time getting them clean after a couple of uses. Overall, though, a good product to try if you want to use something more ecofriendly.

Nice and soft

I became a fan of microfiber cloths to remove makeup, it's so gentle and much more eco friendly. These work really well and I appreciate the double sided function. I always start with the eyes since it's the most delicate part to clean, but love that I can turn it around and start on my face. If it's a light makeup day or even medium one will do, but on heavy makeup days it's nice that the set brings two!

Not as good as Elf

I bought these because Ulta no longer Carrie's the Elf cloud puffs and while these are a good alternative, ELFs are still better and cost less. I love the color and the size is nice but I almost feel like the white side is too soft to be as effective as they could be. The elf version is thicker and not as pliant so one swipe and half your makeup is gone. They're also cheaper.

Super Soft

These pads are so soft. Like a cloud. I use Micellar water to remove my eye makeup with these pads and they work great. My only complaint is the black liner and mascara stain the white pads. Other than that I can say work well.

Great eco friendly concept and underwhelming

I'm still undecided about this product. I like that RT is providing something eco friendly and reusable to combat makeup wipes, I just don't feel like my face is clean enough after I use them.

Underwhelming, really.

Good for travel

I really ike these Real Techniques Makeup Remover Pads for travel but I don't love them for every day. The package comes with two which is nice and each is double sided. Both sides are really soft microfiber. I like to first massage my face with an oil or balm cleanser to remove my makeup and sunscreen and then use this wet (on the peach side) to remove the cleanser and all the makeup. I then like to follow up with a second gentle cleanser to remove any residue but honestly using these pads means there is little to no residue remaining on my skin. These are super handy for travel but they are a little smaller than I would prefer for every day use. I also don't like the white side with the longer fibers as much as the peach side. It just isn't as nice feeling on the skin for some reason. The biggest drawback is that they say they have to be handwashed and laid flat to dry which is a bit of a pain. They do retain their softness through many washes but I've noticed the colors aren't quite as bright as they were when I got them. I would prefer if they came in darker colors to hide the makeup stains.
