I have recently gone back to being a full on single process icy white platinum blonde. I've tried sooo many different purple shampoos over the years and while I've found 1 or 2 that help combat the warm tones that always come back, they always left my hair dry. I stumbled upon this and let me tell you, it absolutely changed my life. It tones out all the warm tones my hair loves to try and pull and it leaves my hair feeling so soft. I've completely ditched my purple shampoo after using this and just bought my 2nd bottle
Disappointed
I had high hopes for this mask as it was recommended by my stylist. She lightened my hair to a level 7-8 with some brighter level 9 bits towards the ends. She said this mask will csncel out any brassiness. So recently i added more level 9 pieces around my face and ends and this mask not only didnt remove any brassiness, but it also darkened my bright level 9 blonde and made it dull. I returned it and ordered the shades eq toners instead. I believe this mask is made for level 9-10 blondes and if youre a sunkissed brunette you wont get the results youre hoping for. I did not feel any hydration or smoothness benefits afterwards either.
Brightening at its Best!
I Loved this product! I've tried many but this conditioner really seemed to tone and brighten my brassy pieces. I'm naturally a brunette and lighted to a blonde but after two months since my last hair appointment my hair seem dull and flat. After using this product I felt like I just left the salon. I Highly recommend anyone to try this product for those in between salon visits.
LOVE THIS MASK
Naturally dirty blonde with scattered silver-gray and really heavy pale blonde highlights. Total platinum is too high maintenance for me so this is perfect for keeping the dreaded yellow tint away. Good conditioning, use in shower -squeeze excess H20 out, half dollar size dollop, shower cap & rinse when finished with body wash, shave etc. PERFECT! Use Acid Bonding Conditioner once a week. Using Icy Blonde 2-3 x week. Don't notice any strong smell. Highly recommend!!!
absolutely amazing
I am not sure if it's the blue and violet combo, but this mask is the best i've tried.I am bleached blonde and try to maintain platinum. I've tried a ton of products(salon quality and cheap ones as well) but nothing comes near the result this mask gave me. I used it after acidic bonding con. shampoo and finished with the leave in treatment and my hair was icy, shiny ,super soft and felt nourished. the coverage is even, not like other products where it gets spots with too much color depositing.

WOW! My hair is terrible blonde, won't brush, very dry. With this product, I can easily brush my hair!!!! It's like magic. I use it once a month and my icy blonde stays looking fresh (compared with redken purple shampoo and conditioner). This also leaves my hair very smooth and healthy looking. I have used about 5 bottles of this already. Great smell too.
Your blonde platinum hair needs this!
If I could give this ten stars I would. The key to using this product I believe is mixing it with your Normal moisturizing conditioner. I mix with either pureology hydrate or with olaplex conditioner! I put a nickel size amount into my conditioner and let her marinade in my hair while I shave and exfoliate! Your hair is left soft, shiny, and NO BRASSINESS! It will leave your platinum locks white! This is way better than the previous version, as this does have a tint of blue mixed In with the purple. Try it! And use my technique to get your best platinum yet!
BEWARE!
If I could give this 0 stars, I would. Do not use on hair that is highlighted/balayage. This mask took my ash blonde to a light brown in ONE wash, left on for only 5 minutes! It did not make my pale blonde highlights icy at all. And worse still, it actually made them MORE yellow that before I used the mask. What I'm left with now is a yellow blonde with hints of red at the roots. Terrible choice for blondes with highlights.
extremely effective
I'm writing this after finishing a whole bottle. I'm a full redken girl now. This mask is amazing. It doesn't only leave my blonde hair looking icy, it also leaves it looking soft. I have pretty long hair and this bottle did the job for four uses! Worth the money :-)
Okay, one word: WOW😍
I was skeptical about using a violet mask instead of my purple shampoo. Let me say this: my hair is almost impossible to tone it's super stubborn. I used this in my shower the other night and I was blown away! I left it on for about 5-10 min ish and my hair felt like legit SILK after I rinsed it out. I saw the next day my blonde hair was nicely toned and it felt super soft. I'm absolutely obsessed with this and will continue to re purchase it. 10/10!!

How To Use
After shampooing, towel dry hair. Wearing suitable gloves, apply mask to hair avoiding scalp area. Comb through for even distribution. Leave on for 5-10 minutes, depending on desired hue. 5 minutes for subtle, 10 minutes for maximum. Rinse thoroughly. In case of contact with eyes, rinse them immediately. Individual results will vary and depend on hair's starting color and condition.
