Beautiful Blonde

I received the Redken Blondage Color Extend Mask in Icy Blonde from BzzAgent for free. I was not paid for this review. It is honest assessment of the product.

The smell of this conditioner is oh so good. The feel of it is silky smooth. It isn't heavy, thick or gloopy as some conditioners can be. The purple will stain your hands but easily come off. It definitely helped remove the brassiness from my hair. I would definitely purchase this conditioner & the shampoo ( didn't test the shampoo) in the future.

It Does The Job

I recently tried Redken's Blondage Color Extend Mask – Icy Blonde. It smells great, and does exactly what it promises to do. My blonde highlights were getting tired and looking brassy and this mask changed all that in one application. My only issue is the extra step it requires to regain the blonde. I normally use a terrific purple shampoo in the shower that stays in for 1-5 mins. Redken's Blondage Color Extend Mask – Icy Blonde needs to be applied on towel-dried hair and left in for 5-10 mins before being rinsed out. So while it did a great job, I'll be sticking with the purple shampoo I use in the shower and cutting out this extra step.

Noticeable Difference!

I have dark brown, light brown, and a mixture of blonde highlights. My brown tends to get brassy along with the blonde. This worked great for both! The difference was more noticeable on the blonde by others, but I noticed the brown difference. Super happy! Easy to use (but messy) so def recommend old towels being near you and on you. I found the scent to be pleasant.

Works well

The Redkin color Extend mask icy blonde works good in between salon visits to brighten my highlights and take away the brassiness.

Apply to wet hair for 10 mins, use gloves and then wash out.

I use it 1x week.

My blonde looks like i just left the salon. Will definitely be getting more in the future.

Worked

I seen a difference in my hair after using this just a few times. I use purple shampoo and conditioner most of the time. I think I will give this a little longer to see how much more it could extend my times between trips to the salon. It has worked so far.

I love it!

I have brown hair with balayage and this has made my hair feel restored again, It smells good. I use it once a week and absolutely love it! The only thing to consider sometimes the color of my hair looks a little different

Quality product

I really liked this product. I thought that it was easy to apply and did not stain my fingers even though I did not wear gloves. I did notice my hair felt noticeably softer after use, but I did not notice as much icy color as I have seen with a similar product from a rival brand. I think that this product worked well and I am excited to continue using it!

Amazing results but super heavy

I am a level 9/10 but pull warmer tones, I tried this on my own hair & the results were amazing! It toned out all of the warmer tones and left me with a nice ashy blonde color. We also have rural water where I am from, so my toner seems to fade more quickly...I feel this would be a nice refresher in between blonding/toning sessions at home. The only downfall I would say is that to me, it smells more manly & it really weighed my hair down even after rinsing it for a while. I can normally go 3-4 days without washing but needed to wash again the next day. Overall I would purchase this again & I cant wait to try it out in my salon.

CUTS THE BRASS!!

I really loved this product. Smells clean, a little goes along way, I have a money piece that was brassy, I left this mask on for 10min and it is very cool. Mixture of blue and violet so it didn't pull real violet and turned out icy with no violets hue to my hair. It even cooled down some of my light brown pieces I have. I would definitely recommend this. The results look like you have freshly toned hair, with the bonus of it being a hair mask.

Soft toning

This product had the classic blondage scent and left the hair soft feeling with a light toning effect to soften the warmth in my color. I would purchase this. I left this on for 5 minutes, next time I will try 10 minutes.
