Best - finally one that works on thin hair / oily scalp

Ok guys - I rarely have patience to leave reviews. I have easily tried 10 different dry shampoos from drug stores to high end. Finally a winner ! I have thin hair, gets oily by next day of washing. Day 3 today and rhis baby heped improve the look of my hair by 75%. Didn't levae it dull and flat.

Give it try. I bought the small bottle to test out, going back for large one once it finishes. It's expensive but thankfully I have family member that gets significant discount at hair pro stores. I would stay buy if that wasn't the case. Its good!

Great dry shampoo!

I've tried dozens of dry shampoos and non not them worked right on my thick hair. My hair gets greasy quick and I don't like to get my hair wet very often due to breakage. So when I tried the Redken Deep Clean Dry Shampoo- Jumbo brand I was blown away. The size of the product alone is well worth the cost! This does not leave a white reside and it's extremely easy to use. Just apply to your dry hair and massage in. I brush my hair and then style. You only need a few small sprays and a little goes a long way! This product last all day without any touch ups! The fragrance is light and fresh! I'm definitely buying this again and have recommended it to everyone!

Great dry shampoo especially for really oily hair

I have very fine and very thin hair and my hair starts to get oily on day 1 just a few hours after washing. I'm also a flight attendant so my hair goes through a lot in the air, which can contribute to extra oiliness. I've used sooo many products, drug store and prestige, and haven't found anything that works right for my specific hair type or the look I'm going for... until I found this. It's amazing and works so great. I have no oiliness and that lasts through day 4 (I don't go longer without washing since I have a sensitive scalp that needs occasional medicated wash). This can help you go longer than 4 days if needed. I add a little of this after I wash and style on day 1 to add a little more texture to my hair, which it does, but it also stops the oil from starting. The only downside is the smell, which can get a bit strong and lingers in whatever room you sprayed it. The cloud lasts a while too. It does come out pretty white but that's why you let it sit for a few minutes then brush and rub it out and it works like it should. This stuff is so great and if you get the large bottle, it'll last a good amount of time depending on how often you wash your hair and how dry and texturized you like your hair. I like to have a more dryer texture when putting my hair up so I add a little bit more on those days so it'll grip my thin/ fine hair. If you're not allergic or annoyed by scents, this one is for you. It keeps your hair feeling fresh and clean and not dirty or oily after multiple days of use and being unwashed. It doesn't dry out my scalp like others do but I have found one that's better than this for that. If you're looking for a more clean and lighter scent that doesn't make the scalp itch after 4 days of not being washed, maybe try the Klorane oily hair with nettle dry shampoo. It works just as great as this but doesn't mess with my allergies and doesn't make the dog sneezes. lol. Both are amazing products that work for my type of hair and I now have multiple cans of each to make sure I don't run out, especially since the holidays are coming up and everyone will be looking for great styling products for all those parties and family gatherings. ;)

New Holy Grail!

I am on a mission to swap out my entire beauty and wellness routine for cruelty free products. I tried this dry shampoo on a whim looking for a substitute for Batiste and a more cost-effective substitute for Living Proof and this is it! Gentle scent, very fine shampoo powder so it didn't leave a white layer on my auburn hair, no itchy scalp from too much product build up, and it did wonders for volume on my 5-7 day hair. I was my hair once a week and need a boost around days 3-4 and this did a great job! Combined with the price point, recyclable container, and cruelty free status, this is a winner! I like it better than both Batiste and Living Proof and have been recommending to everyone!

Works super well only two drawbacks in my opinion

I've tried a fair # of dry shampoo sprays and I am SOOO impressed with this one!! That is until i peep the price! Eeek. I still reluctantly buy it, but def also buy the $5 drugstore versions from other brands and use those quite often so I don't have to make this purchase as often. Also as others have mentioned, the scent is REALLY strong. It doesn;t keep me from using it, but I really don;t love it and I wish more brands carried unscented versions of their dry shampoo. I'm just using dry shampoo for extra oil absorbtion, not to mask any sort of smell, so it's totally unnecessary.

This Stuff Works!

I have brown hair and my scalp gets oily quickly and I've tried so many "top rated" dry shampoos. From drugstore to prestige brands, they all either left my hair feeling weighed down, gritty, or left a gray cast. But this product is the best I've ever used! It leaves your hair clean without the weighed down feeling. And when left in for 5-10 minutes there is no gray cast at all. This product is worth a try if you find yourself feeling frustrated with oily hair and products that never seem to be able to handle it.

Almost Perfect

I've tried a couple of dry shampoos that were horrible, not this one. We camp through the summer, dry shampoo is an awfully handy addition to the gear when it works. This one works better than powder or cornstarch based products and doesn't leave your whole head looking an odd color or feeling as if it's coated in something. We tried it on my short, blue hair, my husban's longer, blonde hair and on a teenager with shoulder length, thick auburn hair. It worked well for everyone.

My small issue was that the large can may be hard to hold for smaller hands (like mine) and the perfume-like scent may be a put-off for some. I didn't mind it, but I would use caution on someone sensitive to scents.

I have been importing my dry shampoo from the UK for years now bc theirs works so much better for my blonde hair. BUT I have finally found a suitable standin if I should run out. It's not as good at coving blonde root but that's not the purpose of this particular product. It CLEANS! Like 6 day old dirty hair to presentable cleans! It does leave a cast that goes away when brushed out and leaves very little residue on the scalp which is a main complaint of my dry shampoos that make me itch. This is a winner!!!

Not For The Fine Hair + Oily Ladies

Influenster sent this to me to review. I wanted to like this so badly because I am constantly going through cans of dry shampoo… like I buy 3 cans at a time. I am always open to trying new ones though! I could get past the smell even though it's not great and I could notice it all day. BUT I can't get past the feeling it leaves on my scalp. It felt almost gritty? I don't know. But it didn't solve my greasy hair issue like other dry shampoo I consistently use. Sorry guys… this one just didn't work for me, but I hope it can be great for someone else!
