I needed a leave-in, since my hair needs constant moisture, and I needed something to layer under my gel. This leave-in is a gentle cream that smells great. It detangles easily and moisturizes my hair. Has great slip, and a little goes a long way due to the density. The only con is that it could be a bit heavy for some hair types. I recommend making hair wet, and then spreading a tiny bit of the cream into wet hands while diluting it with any water before applying, if you have fine delicate curls like me. Trust me, a little goes a long way! I usually section most of my hair and then rake a small bit of the leave-into each section. It worked really well! Overall, this leave-in gave my dry hair the moisture it desperately needed. Highly recommend! :)

I am simply amazed. Have been trying to find a good product for my naturally curly, color-treated hair since my OG one was discontinued. Lately have been trying a variety of different curl creams ALONG WITH a gel cream and have not been satisfied with any of them. I used this product on its own last night and my curls are back to their previous level of bouncy, soft, and beautiful. This is my new go-to and it is in my favorites so I can buy multiples if it ever goes on sale! Hoping it will also stop the breakouts on my upper back from other hair products - I let my hair air dry.

I have been using this product for a couple of weeks now and saw an immediate difference in my hair texture. I just couldn't seem to find a conditioner to help with the dryness and breakage I have been experiencing lately (I also color and highlight my hair regularly). Since I only was my hair once or twice a week, my stylist suggested using a treatment instead of a regular conditioner. My salon doesn't carry a large selection of product, so I spent sometime researching hair treatments for my type of concerns. I re-discovered the Awaphui line and couldn't wait to see if it was as good as I remember. And it is. I use this after I shampoo and then follow up with a leave in smoothing conditioner. I will definitely be sticking with this brand and product.

I have very thick, very dense, very dry, high porosity Type 4 hair. Recently did the big chop and trying to learn how to take care of my hair without chemical treatments and heat. I have been struggling with my hair for a few years now. I have really curly hair kinda corse with some grey. I used this at night after shower and gave nice slip when brushed wet hair. When it dryed before bed it was shiny soft and my curls looked awesome. Helped frizz and in the morning it still looked awesome and was soft and shiny. My curls were even curlier with this when it dryed my hair looked shorter because my curls were way more curly I like to twist/twirl my curls when hair wet helps my curls and lays down cuticle. But I give this stuff a thumbs up feels nice not gunky and I feel like it's doing good stuff to your hair.

My hairdresser has always been an advocate of Joico and I've used many of their products (all of which I've really liked). One that I can't use often is the moisture line - it's just too heavy for my fine hair. My hairdresser mentioned that they created a new moisture line but for finer hair (this product - HydraSplash). First of all - let me say that it smells SO GOOD. It just has a very simple, clean scent and it is not overwhelming. This leave in cream worked wonders for me in so many ways - it acted almost like a detangler and a shield that helped retain my hairs softness and manageability through blow drying. My expectations for this were pretty low just because my hair can be tricky but wow, I am very impressed! I started looking for hair products that wouldn't clog my pores because I noticed I was always breaking out near my hairline. I've been using this for about two weeks now (I wash my hair 2-3 times a week) and I'm really happy with it! My blemishes are either cleared up or clearing up and I don't see any new ones forming. I also really like how clean and lightweight my hair feels when using this product. I use it from about midway to the ends of my hair. I haven't noticed any frizziness since I started using this, but it hasn't been very humid here either. Honestly though, I like so many other things about it, I may be willing to put up with frizzy hair during the humid summers...
