Redken Spray Wax Invisible Texture Mist

LOVE this stuff!

I have white hair (66!) and I use this spray for volume, usually at the end of the day when my hair needs a "lift" if we are going out or if I want it to look extra nice. Some have commented about the scent, but I find it very fresh and it doesn't seem to linger. My one and only negative is I WISH it came in a travel size so I can take it in a carry-on!

Favorite for adding volume

I have wavy hair and this product makes my days where I just brush my hair through and let it air dry so much more impressive. Adds a great amount of volume and doesn't make me take out my curling iron to add curls to my hair. PLUS, I love the smell! Now if only they made it in a smaller size so I could take it on trips with me.

Perfect...except for the scent

This product is AMAZING for after I put beachy curls in my hair, but the smell is HORRIBLE. Honest to goodness, it smells like the stereotypical white old woman. Like "grandma perfume" bad. The wax itself is perfection! I use the T9 1-inch curling iron to put loose/beachy waves in my shoulder-length bob hair and this wax adds just enough hold and shine to make my hair a work of art. Seriously, I get so many compliments when I use this! BUT as much as I love the product and how well it works, I cannot get past the smell. I have a keen sense of smell and am sensitive to certain scents and this spray wax is just the worst. PLEASE CHANGE THE SCENT, REDKEN!!!!!!!!!

BEST EVER (Besides the smell)

I LOVE this stuff. I have naturally curly hair that I don't wear naturally curly, so curl it with a curling iron to get big loose, beachy waves. But due to my natural hair texture, I often end up with poofy, frizzy hair. I would spend 45 minutes curling my hair and then an hour later the curl would be gone and my hair would be fluffy... UNTIL NOW. This stuff has transformed my hair. I spray it on my hair after curling it before loosening the curls with my fingers. I end up with perfect loose, shiny curls all day!

I'm OBSESSED. The only reason I didn't give it a full 5 stars is because the perfum-y smell to it. Its soooo strong and I hate it lol

Great, but HOLY STENCH

Like all other reviews - the smell ruins it. This product is awesome. I love the fact that it's wax without the overly waxy and glue type feel, but I cannot past the grandma perfume smell. And it doesn't go away. It actually meshes with my perfume and YUCK. That's just all I can say. It's just really too bad.

One of the Best for Texture & Hold

I have long thin hair and this is one of the BEST texturizing finish sprays I have ever used. The wax adds the perfect amount of texture and hold. It is not sticky or stiff, it adds soft voluminous body. Love using this when I curl or wand my hair. The curls looks so healthy and bouncy. And next day hair is even better. I've been so impressed with so many Redken products! Love purchasing 50% off, such a good buy!

Does the trick, but can't get over the smell!

I recently went from shoulder length to a long pixie so I needed something to give it a textured messy look. Works well and isn't too stiff but omg the smell is horrid! Smells like old lady perfume in a damp basement people smoked in. I'm glad I only bought the travel size! Will get something else soon.

My favorite bangs styling product in 10 years

I have long, think hair that I have to pull back for work. I have bangs that I style in numerous ways. I usually use hairspray, but I don't like that motionless, plastic look. I like it when they just fall perfectly. I have tried 3 spray waxes and this is my favorite. It is soft but adds texture and hold. Unlike another popular brand, it is not heavy and waxy. It does not leave a residue. As for the smell, my husband commented on how nice I smelled... Which in 14 years he has never done before.

it's okay

the smell of this product is waayy too strong. and it doesn't seem to wear off throughout the day. it definitely provides texture with just one spray. it actually made my hair feel too sticky and gritty. i love that the mist is fine and seems to be distributed evenly. it is heavy though. but with my hair, even the lightest products weigh it down.

My new favorite go to product!

I have very fine hair and went for a shorter haircut this year. I'm amazed how good my over 50 fine hair and style stays. This is the routine, after washing with Redken beach envy shampoo, and combing through Redken pillow proof spray (just two sprays), and applying Redken aerate 8, I apply Wax Blast 10 and Redken Triple Take hairspray for my style to stay put! Sounds like a lot, but I have it styled in just about 10 min, and I love the way it looks. THANKS REDKEN!!
