The product itself reminded me of honey, based on the color and consistency of the product. I really didn't notice much of a scent from the product. It did do a good job of holding my hair in place.
I would buy this product again at the right price point.
This treatment held well without a feeling super stiff. I think I'd use it again if I saw it in the store for the right price.
Amazing Gel!!
I have to say I was quite impressed by this Gel. I didn't even know this product was available until I stumbled on it online. It left my hair with a crisp clean hold that lasted all day! I will be a customer from now on.

Smells great!
I tried the Brews Extra Clean Gel for a few weeks and found it to be an ok product. Very easy to use and to carry on the go due to it's size. It also has a soft scent that I enjoyed very much. It's a very masculine scent. The only issue to me would be that it does not hold the hair that well. The consistency is very thin, a bit thicker than water so you won't have a strong hold at all. I would recommend this if you want to tame fly aways but it wont do a lot more than that.
A nice hair gel with good hold.
This Redken Brews hair gel is a great product for someone looking for good hold without turning your hair stiff. I use it in the morning and it keeps my hair in place throughout the day while still maintaining some movement. I would recommend this product to a friend.
My new favorite hair styling product
The Redken Brews Extra Clean Gel is my new go to styling product. This gel works great but also smells and feels great. This gel works so much better than other gels I've tried. The hold is great yet leaves my hair touchably soft with no sticky residue. I recommend this product and will be purchasing.
Worked great!
This product worked great. It kept my hair in place. It left it soft and not sticky. My hair stood in place all day. It didnt leave any residue or anything. Great product would definitely recommend it.
Smell good and holds my hair
I have tried Redken other products prior but Brews extra clean gel I am trying for first time. I have seen Redken brews extra clean gel in stores but never thought to try it. This time I got to try Redken brews extra clean gel and it did good job. Smells good and holds my hair for full day. Its slightly costly but not too much. I would add brews extra clean gel in my current hair routine. I like to switch hair gels and this one is a good option. I do have some flakes and Brews gel takes care of it. I would recommend this and would buy this again. I would use it 2-3 times weekly not regularly.
Not My Favorite
I've been searching for the perfect hair gel for a long time and thought I had it with this Redken gel. It says it's not supposed to be shiny or get stiff. I get both from it. I use a drop smaller than the size of tear drop and I still get a lot of shine and stiffness. I do style my hair while damp so that may contribute to it but I've been using a Garnier Fructis product recently that's very similar to the Redken but I get much better results from it. The Garnier also smells better. I wouldn't use it again.
