Redken Travel Size Nature + Science Color Extend Suflate Free Shampoo For Color Treated Hair

Yuck!

I can't recommend Redken Nature & Science Color Extend Shampoo. It smells terrible and didn't do anything for my hair. Redken has better products to use.

Allergy warning

For almost two months I have been having really bad allergies. Pimples all over my head and random places on my body and face I never broke out at before. I didn't realize until last night when I washed my hair and had my usual sneezing attack that it might be this shampoo and conditioner. It is the only new thing I have tried in forever and the timing is on point from when these allergies have been happening to when I bought it. My hair has been ok from using it but my skin has been in turmoil since. I finally threw it away today after using half the bottles.

Smellllllly

I did NOT get this as a free sample...I actually paid for this stuff. It smells so bad, like sea buckthorn mixed with 7 day old dead mice. It burned and made my scalp itchy. I can't tell how my hair came out because I rewashed with my usual shampoo immediately. I'm a redken girl...I love extreme and was passionate for blonde glam..,but this will get given away Im afraid :(

The best shampoo for color treated hair

This shampoo was very gentle on my hair. It smelled great. Didn't dry my hair out but had it looking very soft and shiny. Excellent and gentle on my hair. I would definitely recommend this shampoo for ones with color in there hair.

Just average

I had never heard of this shampoo until I received a bottle in exchange for my opinion. It's a perfectly fine product but there's nothing about it that stood out to me. I didn't notice any difference between it and my regular product. I also wasn't too crazy about the scent. So I have no plans to purchase it.

Love this Shampoo!

I absolutely love this shampoo. It made my hair so nice and soft. It also has the best smell. My hair still smelled good the next day. I have color treated hair and I feel like my hair looks more healthy after using this shampoo. I am going to get the conditioner too to use with the shampoo. I think this will be my new brand of shampoofor every day.

I would buy this product again if they changed the smell.

I really like how this shampoo makes my hair feel, the only thing that I really don't like about this shampoo is the smell of it and that's because to me the smell reminds me of dish washing liquid. I like the shampoos that smell nice and to me this shampoo doesn't smell nice.

One of my favorites

I love the Redken line of shampoos and conditioners The Color Extend line is my favorite. I have my hair colored at the salon every 3 months. I have found that my roots need to be touched up, but my overall color is not brassy and still looks great. I love how the shampoo lathers and is easy to rinse out. The smell is subtle and my hair is very soft and manageable. I highly recommend this shampoo and conditioner.

Good Product, Works as Claimed

I received a free sample of this product in exchange for my honest review and so far it has done what it claims to do- extend colored/dyed hair. I actually use natural hair coloring and this works well, I've noticed that there is less color that rubs off on my towels compared to the shampoo I used previously.

My only issue is that this product is SOOOO gentle that it doesn't really seem to clean my hair as well as other shampoos. So I end up having to wash my hair more often in order to keep it clean.

There is a clean and light natural type smell which is pleasant and not so perfume-y.

Rinses easily and completely

Redken Nature + Science Vegan Color Extend Shampoo contains zero sulfates, silicone and is also paraben-free. I have salon highlighted shoulder length hair and shampoo my hair daily. I started using the Redken Color Extend Shampoo right after I had my highlights redone. I have noticed after a couple of weeks of using this shampoo that my color isn't at all dull looking or the color rapidly fading. This shampoo is clear in color, lathers nicely and rinses easily and completely without leaving my hair a tangled up mess. I have used this shampoo multiple times by itself without adding a conditioner or styling product and my hair was still easy to comb through and style without leaving it feeling dry or frizzy. Personally I feel my hair looks and feels so much healthier since I started using this shampoo. My nose detects just a faint fragrance pleasent scent while shampooing, but that fragrance seems to rinse away with the shampoo as I cannot smell it on my hair after its dry.
