Sooo I basically love this stuff.
When reading about this product I said shoot I'm just going to spend the money.. I mean I'm happy I am. For my fine, thinner hair, I cannot spray it on the top of my head because it will make my hair look greasy, but as long as I don't spray it on the top of my head then it's great! (And yes I'm washing it out, and using my regular conditioner after that too). Maybe I'm thinking I should go without my regular conditioner after this sometime and see how it works but I mean my hair is far from as frizzy as it used to be.. as for the heat protectant in It, not sure how effective it is or not, but I am about to stop bleaching my hair so that should help some of that frying and I'll see how it goes using a straightener 1-2 times a week. Overall, really like it! Just had to figure out how it worked best for me.
My hair loves it!
I bought this as a "blind buy" last Christmas because it was on sale for a good price. Let me just say… my hair is naturally curly/wavy with frizziness! But there is something about this spray that my hair loves. It helps a lot with the smoothness of my hair and the frizz. I have also noticed it gives my curls/waves a better, more consistent "shape" instead of my hair having only a few pretty curls amongst a frizzy head of hair. It's also worth noting this spray smells great and my hair gets oily easily, but I spray this toward the middle and ends of my hair after I shower and then I brush my hair to spread the product out. A little goes a long way. I never spray it on my roots or toward the top of my head. I have never had any issues with it making my hair oily. I bought the big bottle and it has lasted me nearly a year with regular use! Definitely buying again.
The Best Leave in Conditioner
This is the best leave-in conditioner for dry & chemically treated hair. I started using this when I colored my hair blonde (I'm brunette). I still use it even after the blonde grew out. It is very heavy and even after one or two shampoos, my hair still feels conditioned but this depends on how much I use. I have very healthy hair but it does get oily so I use very little. I can't give an opinion on how this works with styling tools because I don't use them and I rarely use my hair dryer. I spray this on my palm, rub my hands together and then scrunch it throughout my hair. I only use this when I haven't used conditioner in the shower. It does have a great smell too which tends to slightly wear off but there is a light lingering scent.
Holy Grail!
I may not be the most knowledgeable when it comes to haircare, but I know I'm doing something right with this product! I use the Paul Mitchel tea tree Shampoo and the Redken All Mega Soft conditioner, and occasionally, I'll use a hair mask once a week(I use free sample stuff). I have thick, natural red hair that is super dry on the ends, but also greasy at the roots. After experimenting with different products for a few months, I can safely say the One United spray makes your hair soft! Be sure to use it properly! After I'm done showering and towel drying, I use a few sprits over my mid-lengths & ends, comb thoroughly, then use a blow dryer to dry. From my understanding, this is a great multi-use spray for heat protectant (450 degrees F) & leave-in conditioner(I think?) After using it for 4 months, My hair definitely feels softer and it has reduced the frizz. After a couple of days, my hair would feel dry at the ends again, so I'd use hair oil and/or Chi Know It All Multitasking Hair Protector to add shine. Overall, I think it's worth it to buy the big bottle and buy a separate empty mini spray bottle from the dollar store to use as a travel size.
worth all the hype
I bought this because I heard it was the holy grail of heat protectants and would just bring life to my hair. After just one use I saw a difference. During the winter season my hair tends to get especially flat and dull and i wanted something to add to my routine to help lock in texture and moisture all year round. I applied it to my hair after a shower when it was still pretty wet, then used a wide tooth comb to get any knots out, and then i let it air dry. Let me just say, I haven't seen that much shine on my hair in a really long time AND it felt so refreshed! Ik it is still early days but I am convinced that this product is going to help me achieve my hair goals
Hair Game Changer
I didn't know I had wavy hair until I started using this product. Before I started using this product, after a shower my hair would get super frizzy. My mom would call me a sponge because of how big my hair would get once it dried. But that changed now with this product. I spray this on my damp hair after a shower. This product stops my hair from frizzing up and instead brings out my waves and curls (Some I thought I HAD LOST OVER THE YEARS). Now I'm down three bottles. This product doesn't make your hair feel sticky or hard, it dries down which is great because I don't like the way mousse makes hair feel hard and crunchy. On top of that, it has protective benefits. It smells nice, like perfume but I can see why some people wouldn't like the smell bc it is pretty strong. This product usually keeps my hair styled in it's waves for two days, then I have to reapply it. Overall, my hair just looks way better and healthier
Healthy hair journey
I'm two months in to repairing a bad salon bleach job. Problem is I still like to use heat once a week. I have had good luck with various products, but nothing that really hit every mark, until this spray! I used this after my shower and didn't add any other product aside from heat protectant. WOW. It blow dried so nice and smooth, and about 90 % of my flyaways lay flat. After I flat ironed, I added just a dab of argan oil and my hair was so sleek that I went in the kitchen and twirled around in front of my husband. I'll be buying this over and over even after the bleach has grown out, because even my virgin hair was pretty unmanageable.
100% worth it
I got a sample of this product after buying other products from Redken to treat my processed bleached hair. I tried it once and it didn't wow me so I never paid it any mind. Long story short I ended up not using the products I purchased and cut my hair removing 99% of the damage. I didn't feel the need to use any repairing products because my hair was healthy. Well I ran out of the thermal protectant spray I normally use needed something to take its place and that's when this sweet baby came into play. I spray it into my clean towel dried hair before I brush/comb. This stuff leaves my hair silky soft like I've never had before. My hair is coarse and thick making it difficult to tame sometimes but this spray absorbs wonderfully into the hair shaft it doesn't sit on top like a lot pf products do, causing your hair to feel heavy and dirty. I sometimes get scared that I will use too much causing it to sit on top but it just absorbs so nicely. I 1000% recommend this product but if you don't like the idea of paying so much for something you might hate, try the sample size! Please note that I do not use any other products in my hair after I wash/condition. The reason it probably didn't give me the best effects on my bleached hair was because I was layering other products in and they didn't work well together. Try it a few times in different ways before you give up on it but TRY IT!

I try to be careful with my hair overall because it is fine and has been highlighted fairly heavily. I wash my hair every other day with Redken All Soft, condition with the same, and leave it in a turbie twist thing as long as possible because I rarely ever blow dry or heat style my hair. When I take it down I use this leave in spray and if I'm not clipping it up in a loose bun I'll also use a couple drops of All Soft Argan Oil, on the ends and any fly away areas because I live in a very humid area. All that seems like it would be an awful lot but it really isn't! My hair is crazy soft and shiny, it never gets oily, and it's just healthy. Redken products are amazing.
what I've been searching for
My teen and early 20s, I had beautiful spiral thick hair. After 5 children and now in my forties, I've struggled for 2 decades with thin frizzy hair. I've tried si many products. I still use redkin frizz dismiss products, however I this product is AMAZING! I use it immediately after towel dry followed by frizz dismiss cream. Then I use it every time I want to refresh my blow out. It never weighs down my hair. No greasy feel. Just soft smoothness. I love it!! Smells good too. My husband even commented on how soft my hair was. That was amazing too.
