Strange product - amazing packaging

I have been searching for a night cream that will hydrate my skin and keep my face moisturized overnight into the early morning. I like for my skin to still be moisturized to the touch the morning after before I begin my morning skincare routine.

This product did not do that for me - a bit far from it actually.

Starting with the product size itself, for the price, it does not come with a lot of product in the long run.

Then the consistency, it comes out beautifully from the pump in the shape of a flower, but once I put it on my face, it almost has a dry, powdery sensation that is a bit hard to rub in and streaks on the skin making it look pale like a white cast before settling in (I have dark melanated skin for reference).

The application for the first 4 times I used it made my skin feel tingly, like a slight burning sensation as well. This was immediately concerning of course because I've never had an active-free moisturizer do that before. This paired with the grainy feeling from the moisturizer immediately made me consider sending it back to Ulta.

The moment of truth came for me the next morning or rather really still the night of application as my dry areas that I checked for (the sides of my face) were dry compared to my t-zone. I had to cross another moisturizer off of my list as a night cream. This was all concluded on the first night but made official after my 4th try.

I am however going to keep the product and continue to use it until it's empty so that I can keep the super cute container and reuse it for my dream night cream when I eventually find it. The pump is super cute and very hygienic and disposes the perfect amount of product for the entire face in 2 pumps.

I would not recommend this product to anyone even if they do have oily skin and I certainly would not recommend it for sensitive skin.

For reference, my nighttime skincare routine is as follows: MWF - cera ve hydrating foaming oil cleanser, Hello Kitty toner, retinol, and moisturizer. T/TH - cera ve hydrating foaming oil cleanser, Hello Kitty toner, clindamyc!n benzoyl peroxide gel, moisturizer. Saturday - cleanser, toner, and moisturizer. And Sunday, cleanser, AHA/BHA peel, and cera ve daily moisturizing lotion.

The fragrance in this product is also MASSIVELY overwhelming and does not die down (or you won't go nose-blind to it) until you've been using it for quite some time.

I'm in love with this

I bought this cream just to give it a shot and because I ran out of my The Ordinary and Olay moisturizers and this truly is amazing. I've used Caudalie, Drunk Elephant, and Farmacy and this is up there with those brands in terms of quality and hydration.

A cloud of fresh plumpness!

Just like the coordinating S and G day creme, this is super hydating without feeling heavy. This one is even more hydrating! I woke up with lovely plumped, glowy skin. I wore this over my prescription retinA after letting the RetinA sink in for 15 minutes. No dryness this morning like I usually get from my prescription! I predict this winter, this S and G Cloud of Dreams will become my daytime moisturizer too!! Only person who probably wouldnt like it? Super oily, acne- prone skin, maybe. But who knows until you try? The pump on top pumps up a little "flower" perfect amount that also makes it more hygienic than jar cream. I'm almost 60 and have I've used almost every expensive cream out there- BUY THIS!

Whipped lovliness!

I've struggled with super dry skin since moving to AZ. This is a game changer! My face has never felt so good and supple. I do use it along with other night-time serums and a nightly routine. My skin has never looked or felt so good..

Love it!

I love the packaging and I love the texture of this! My skin is so soft in the morning! I'm mid 30's and combination/dry skin and so many other night creams leave me dry by the time morning rolls around but this one doesn't! Will definitely purchase again.

I have oily/combo skin. Most of my breakouts are near my chin or my temple. I have really tried to develop a routine since I know that's the only way to get results. I wash my face at night with usually a gentle wash or SA wash, then use some serums by the ordinary and seal it all in with this guy by soap and glory. I've used other night creams to see if they'll be better, but this product (plus the routine) ALWAYS leaves my skin smoother and pores smaller in the AM. And the price point??? Love.

I wanted to love this

I really did want to love this. I LOVE LOVE the soap and glory exfoliating tonic, its one of my favorite things I have for my skincare. So when I got this I was very excited to try the moisturizer that should go with it. It smells great, and a little really does go a long way, but it just leaves my face feeling so greasy. I dont think I move around enough in my sleep for my pillow to absorb enough because I would wake up and it would still have that greasy feeling to my skin. It didn't feel heavy on my face, which was really nice. I just didn't like the feel to my skin. Once I took a shower though, it would leave my skin feeling nice and soft which I did appreciate it. I think its just to heavy of moisturizer for my skin type.

Omg!

Received as a free sample to review - love the whipped consistency. Goes on easily and a little goes a long way. Absorbs well and the scent is light and not overpowering or chemical. I suffer from periodic eczema spots by my eyebrows and this helped clear it up! Love this and will be buying as soon as I use this up!

Soft and hydrated

After pregnancy my skin was kind of all over the place. I had weird dry patches on my face. I wore this at night and noticed a difference the next day. It left my skin soft and definitely hydrated. I'm excited to use this in the colder months when my skin is extra dry.

Dream belongs in the title!

I always worry with Soap & Glory face products because they tend to be heavily fragrances, but this night cream had the softest and pleasant vanilla scent without being overpowering. It is thick and the pump delivers a beautiful flower shape. My skin felt nicely moisturized without being greasy. I woke up to my skin looking hydrated and plumped up. A definite must try
