Much smoother skin!
This is definitely in my top choices for body scrubs. And I've tried a lot of different body scrubs. The scent really is a signature for Soap and Glory, I haven't really smelled a scent like it before. I love it! It's light but floral, rose actually and bergamot. The exfoliants are gentle but effective at removing dead skin. It rinses easy and doesn't leave any residue. Nice generous sizing. Absolutely recommend it, it's one of the best!
Mild but Effective
This has a lovely rose and bergamot scent. It's quite as scrubby as I'd like, but I think it's easier to amp up the scrub factor with a mitt or a loofah than tone down an over-aggressive scrub, so I think that's OK. It still exfoliated pretty well and left my skin soft and moisturized without being oily.
Flake away dry skin
This is a thick and creamy scrub with a very pleasant scent of bergamot and rose smells really soft and sexy. I like the way my skin feels after I get out of the shower it's very smooth and silky feeling after removing all the dead skin cells leaving a sweet hint of the rose left lingering on my skin. I will be buying again and trying other products in the Soap and Glory line.
A game changer after a day out!
With a fabulous smelling blend of shea butter and almond oil, Flake Away Body Scrub is a luxurious treat, especially after a long day out or after sweating it out at the gym. The dirt and grime of the day definitely get exfoliated off and leaves my skin really smooth and supple. It has helped with some of the roughness that my skin gets from the gym (weights, etc). I love it!
Not a lot of scrubbing action
I was excited to try this item because I typically love Soap & Glory products, but I was disappointed in this scrub. The packaging is cute (and pink!) and the product smells great, but it doesn't perform well. The scrubbing bits seems to just melt away so other than the first few seconds you're not getting much scrubbing action. There are more effective scrubs on the market.
Shiny buffed skin
The flake away body scrub was so good to my sensitive skin. After 3 uses, I can see a difference in my legs, arms, and torso area. Feels firmer, softer, and even tones throughout. I've shared this with my partner and he loves it, too. He has issues with breakouts and this product does not irritate his back like other body scrubs. Highly recommend!
Where has this been all my life??!!
This scrub is amazing!! After using it just a few times my skin was noticeably smother. This is very important to me because I have keratosis pilaris (aka "chicken skin") on my arms and legs. I've tried numerous products to smooth the annoying bumps on my skin and this, hands down, is the most effective. Bonus points for the fabulous scent!! I also appreciate that this scrub doesn't leave my skin feeling sticky and/or dried out like many scrubs do. Flake Away is now a permanent addition to my bathing and skin care routine. I LOVE IT!!!
Decent Body Scrub
I used this body scrub over a month period and received the product for free in return for providing an honest review. I found the Soap & Glory Flake Away Body Scrub to be a real middle of the road product. It was a decent exfoliator. I found the size of the abrasive materials to be the most effective in providing the exfoliating effects; however, I believe that the ratio between the product providing slippage and those abrasives was a bit askew. The smell of the product was not to my liking, but it was still pleasant and somewhat short lived. I did not find this product to be moisturizing, and would caution people to make sure they are properly hydrating before using this product because of the oil clogging properties.
No more bumps!
Soap&Glory is my favorite brand for body products and when I got to try this I was SO excited! I genuinely love this stuff! This stuff is great for exfoliating before shaving, getting dead skin off in winter, and even getting rid of those bumps on the backs of my arms! My body always feels so soft and moisturized after this that my boyfriend cannot keep his hands off of me!!
Does wonders!
My skin is always dry in the winter months &this stuff has been a life saver. I use it after shaving &it leaves my legs so smooth & moisturized. I love how gritty it is so you feel the exfoliating being done. It isn't irritating &also has the most amazing fragrance!! I love it. I use it on my legs, arms, &hands.. Basically anywhere I want to look smooth &plump. I highly recommend if your looking for an affordable but high end feeling body scrub, I promise you will love it cause I sure do !!
