Nice texture, little lavender
The fragrance is very heavy on the "tonka bean," so…powdery/musky/warm…was hoping for more of the herbaceous lavender shining through. I stirred in a generous amount of lavender essential oil and that helped. The texture is nice and moisturizing. Won't be repurchasing due to the scent.
Zen Souffle
i was given the opportunity to try the Soap & Glory Zen Souffle. The scent is lavender. It was not overwhelming like some other products I tried. The souffle cream is light, airy, and thick. With it being winter, my skin has been super dry, but thick moisturized my skin in one use. I would definitely use and again and recommend to my friends and family.
It's ok
I love the smell of this product and the design. It's so pretty to look at. The feel of it on my skin is ok. It drys up super fast and my skin stills look dry, I don't recommend using it by itself because my skin still doesn't feel moisturized with just using it. So I add a body oil with it as well. Do recommend if your going for the relaxing experience it gives off from the scent but not as moisturizer.
Scent is too strong.
I received this product in exchange for an honest review. The consistency of this product is nice. I would use it more often but I've only used it one time. I can't get over the strong Lavender Noxema scent. It's extremely pungent. I'm not one to be sensitive to smells or fragrance, but this one is overpowering, enough to give someone a headache.
Another butter
I have a love hate relationship with body butters. I have extremely dry skin so I know how thirsty my skin is. This butter is denser and less whipped I was expecting from the title. That's not a deal breaker but something to note. It also beads up if continually rubbed so it does not make for a good massaging cream. Lastly, and most notably, the scent is not something I would ever enjoy. I love lavender. I thought tonka bean would be lightly similar to vanilla but this butter smells like pitchuli. I didn't love my skins reaction to the scent. However just because this scent is something I dislike does not mean this is right up another person's ally!
Good product
I received the Soap & Glory Perfect Zen Body Souffle free to try from BzzAgent. The packaging is really cute and easy to open. The cream itself is thick and goes on to the skin well. The one thing I wasn't as huge a fan of was the scent itself. (Maybe it's just me, but the Lavender smell was very overpowering.)
Smells great, feels great
This is a wonderful smelling great feeling body soufflé. The scent can be a bit strong, so I would recommend applying in the morning for a scent that will lay hours. It wasn't greasy and left me feeling smooth.
Hmm just okay.
It's an okay body souffle. It rubs in very good, and not leave a sticky feeling. In my opinion the lavender smell is a little to strong and gave me a slight headache. If you love a strong lavender smell this product is for you.
Its...Interesting
This "body souffle is a whipped type texture which makes it light feeling when scooping it out of the container. However it is very moisturizing and bordering on being greasy once rubbed in. However, it's nice to use before bed, which is what it's intended for. It's definitely not a daytime moisturizer. The scent is...interesting. It has a slight lavender scent but isn't too floral smelling. The Tonka bean is strong and makes a different mix with the lavender. I've used it several times and still can't really decide if I like or dislike the scent. Overall, it's not bad, but I wouldn't repurchase it.
Truly moisturizing
Found the body souffle to be very thick in consistency and not so easily absorbed but it does leave your skin super moisturized. I took one star off because of the smell, I found it to be a little too strong for me. Other than that, if you don't mind the strong lavender scent and the little extra time to wait until it gets absorbed, i recommend it
Okay
The formula I like, the item is nice and creamy and it absorbed in a decent amount of time. I wasn't a fan of the scent at all. I passed it along to my mother and she didn't like it either so she passed it to my grandma and she didn't like it either lol. It's been passed to 3 different generations of women and we all dislike the scent….next I will see if the dog across the street likes it (doubt it). After that, I will try giving it to the mailman.
So strongly scented
This is a delightful body lotion — very light and fluffy in consistency. But I can't give it all five stars because it's so incredibly and heavily scented. It lingers FOR EVER. I am prone to migraines and had to wash it off. I just wish it were less potent.
Not the best product for Super dry skin
I have extremely dry skin, and usually kind of the moisturizer I use on my body is on the heavier side. The soap and glory body soufflé is very lightweight and has a whipped texture, definitely non-greasy. There isn't any residue or feeling that you put anything on. Which can be great if that's what you're looking for, however, if you have dry skin I wouldn't recommend this product at all. It didn't do much for me. I received the body soufflé as a free sample.
