Gentle but affective

I have used more exfoliates then I can count and I have only used this one since I got it. It's not to rough like some that I have used, I love the smell and it leaves my skin feeling moisturized instead of dried out like many others do.

Good stuff!

I received this item for free in exchange for my honest review. I enjoyed the scrub, it gives a nice scrub without being too harsh. Many times when you get a scrub the the shells or exfoliating pieces are too large or even sharp at times. this was not and I liked that about it. The scent I got was called almond and Caramel, to be honest the scent was not my favorite. I didn't detect almond scent and I think it was more burned caramel...almost coffee smelling. Fragrance is suggestive and some people enjoy certain fragrances and some do not. While its not my favorite scent, another person may love it. so don't let that stop you from trying it. another thing I liked about it was that its not filled with oil and its a firm consistency. The reason this is good is that you can grab a handful and it will not fall out of your hand. With oil based scrubs you often lose the oil 1/4 way through using the container and then the product becomes hard and difficult to use. I particularly like this for my hands and left it by the sink to use when washing them. my hands are nice and soft. Overall I feel this is a good product and I would recommend you try it for yourself.

Scent is delectable

The Soap & Glory Smoothie Star Oat, Sugar & Shea Breakfast Scrub, upon opening the tub, smells absolutely delectable and delicious. I absolutely adore the almond and honey scent in this and it definitely gives a glazed maple dessert kind of vibe. I have used this product many times, both as a scrub originally on dry skin and also as a scrub in the shower after my skin has already been dampened. As a dry scrub, I found that this product did not perform as well compared to other scrubs that I have tried. I found that the base of the scrub was too dry and sticky that when I applied it to dry skin, it would just fall off my legs and arms and into the shower. As a scrub applied on already wet skin, it performed beautifully! My skin felt buffed and refreshed and after washing it off, left a nice sheen on my body. I feel this would be great to use everyday as it was gentle yet does a good job at buffing off the dead layers of skin cells. On days where I crave a deeper and rougher exfoliation, I do not think that the Breakfast Scrub would be rough enough. I would absolutely recommend this to my friends and family and would purchase it again for everyday use. I would also consider owning and purchasing the Soap & Glory Flake Away Body Scrub for a deeper exfoliation.

good smelling scrub

This scrub smelled like a banana smoothie and you can definitely smell the almond and honey as well. The scrub is on the thicker side and not as granulated as other scrubs. The texture is more shea butter with some sugar into. Its a great lighter scrub for sure. would use again.

Natural body scrub

I immediately noticed the great ingredients that make up this Smoothie Star Breakfast Scrub! All organic, and lightly scented with caramel and almond! This body scrub is easy to massage into skin, but a little hard to rinse off. After drying off, I still felt a little sticky. Less is more!

Great scrub

I really like how this scrub works. However, I am fairly sensitive to scents and I find this one to be a bit over powering. It smells sweet—maybe too sweet. My husband enjoys the scrub, as do I. I would love if the scent was more natural.

Really good.

Really love the scrub, it was very fine and not chunky like some. I didn't particularly enjoy the scent I got but I don't tend to like sweet scents. It left my skin very moisturized too ! Really great product all around.

It's ok

I liked the smell, a little overpowering caramel & it's a harder consistency than the others I use & doesn't leave my skin as soft either, it's a good scrub though if you like caramel & mild exfoliation, I'm guessing less oil, the grit isn't as rough

Gentle but effective scrub!

The smell of this is a bit off-putting and artificial but just look at the ingredients first and it all makes sense. The smell does go away just fine in the shower after scrubbing and I actually found that this had a really nice, gentle exfoliation to all of the more sensitive parts of my body like my neck, feet, and hands. It's also more condense than other scrubs so a little does truly go a long way!

Smooth heaven

Since I've been using this body scrub I've noticed my skin has been and stayed hydrated. Especially during this dry, fall season. It smells amazing! The only thing is that for me personally the caramel smell is too much. It is a little sticky at first. After every shower my skin has smelled great! And has stayed silky smooth! I would absolutely recommend this product!

Smell soo delicious

Omg this scrub smells so good! I like this scrub, im really pucking on my scrubs. Some are just to harsh and hurt my skin. Some dont feel like are doing anything. This has a good mix of little bits that scrub good but not harsh on my skin.

Body Scrub

I enjoyed using the Soap & Glory Smoothie Star Body Scrub, it has good grainy texture and works well in the scrub form to remove dirt from the skin and leaving your skin clean. The smell is great too. Will explore other items from this line too!

A bit too sweet

I really like the texture and how fine the granules were. It did a great job at exfoliating. The scent was a bit too sweet for me, but it wasn't too long lasting. I didn't need a lot to cover the application areas. Overall I did like the product, except for the scent. I enjoy a good exfoliation, especially prior to lotion or tanning application.

Smooth-ie skin!

After trying this body scrub for a few weeks, I was pleasantly surprised at how smooth my skin actually got. It helped even out some of my skin imperfections, bumps and lessened the appearance of my strawberry legs as well. The bumps i get on the back of my arms are nearly gone. Compared to other body scrubs, this one did a better overall job, leaving better results. It's a very thick formula allowing it to last longer in your hands as you scrub your body with it. Thus making the required amount to get the job done, less than other products that wash away so fast. The only downside in my opinion is the scent. It's too sweet smelling. Other than that, I highly recommend!

Pancakes on a Sunday Morning

This smoothie star breakfast scrub is sent it with almond and caramel, but smells exactly like pancakes with syrup on a Sunday morning! This scrub leaves your skin, feeling soft and supple while leaving it feeling hydrated. It's not too grainy or rough… Has the perfect amount of scrubbing action to leave your skin, feeling soft and refreshed. smells so good! Dry skin who?

The backs of my thighs have this big patch of very dry skin that just keeps coming back and I can never get away from and I have strawberry skin on the back of my arms as well. I started using this scrub twice a week for the last 3 weeks now and my arms are noticeably better. You can't see any of the little bumps anymore. My legs aren't completely better but it's definitely less dry and bumpy than before. This has definitely helped with all the extra build up on my skin and leaves me super smooth. The only reason I didn't do a full 5 stars was because I wasn't crazy about the scent. But it's wasn't a deal breaker.

Love it!

My favorite thing about this scrub is how thick and solid it is. Most scrubs will start running between my fingers pretty fast. Smoothie star keeps its shape in my hand which allows me to screw the cap back on.

It's not the most moisturizing scrub formula but it isn't drying either. I would add another star if it were more moisturizing. It's really scrubby and I like how it handled my keratosis pilaris. It didn't irritate it and helps it stay clear.

It does smell as advertised, like almonds and caramel, but it's not a strong gourmand type fragrance. It's just a nice scent that doesn't linger. I think even people who hate gourmand scents would like this.

Super Moisturizing Scrub!

This scrub feels amazing! It doesn't feel like you're going to scrub your skin off when you use it, and I can tell a huge difference in the areas I used it compared to the areas I did not. The areas I used it on feel so smooth, even days later, as if I've been applying lotion. I knocked it down a star because the scent doesn't last long. It smells so good when you first open the jar like you want to eat it, and then it quickly dissipates after you apply it.

Smells Good

I have to admit that Soap & Glory has some nice-scented products. This one has a vanilla-maple-ish scent which actually is kind of nice for a morning shower! The scrub itself is thick with a good amount of granules in it and the ratio of scrubbers to base is good. It's not overly abrasive; it can easily be used on an everyday basis without being "too much".

If I could change something about it, though, I would rather have an oilier base because I love how shower oils make my skin feel; they add extra moisture. This scrub is very basic and while it mildly exfoliates, it doesn't actually condition the skin.

Overall a solid product, though, and an affordable drugstore option.

Scrub a dub

I really enjoyed this product. It applies smoothly and does not leave a sticky or oily residue on your skin. It washes off easily and has a light scent. It's slightly sweet and smells like a nutty caramel. The scrub itself did not irritate my super sensitive skin or leave my skin raw. It left my skin feeling baby soft and feeling new!
