Totally destroyed a great product

They ruined these. The vitamins used to be great and I took them for YEARS. My latest bottle, the vitamins are a different color, taste and texture—and they're TERRIBLE!! I was so upset I wrote the company and they said, yes, they changed them, reducing the sugar content (which apparently changed everything?!?) I told them the new ones are AWFUL and they were basically like oh don't you love them?! Um No, they truly suck now. After being a loyal customer for years, I'm finding something else.

New formula tastes horrible

I have been using these for a year and a half now. I first need to say, they did thicken up my hair. I have naturally curly hair and it has been thick my whole life until I had an anaphylatic reaction to IVP Dye, a week on the vent and massive amounts of steroids later, and 4 more days in the hospital I went home. Very weak and hair not so great. Then 4 months later I got covid, my hair got so thin you could see my scalp! Even with my curls! It sucked. I started taking these and within 2 months it started coming back! Now the formula has made it taste like plastic and is hard to take but I will still buy because they help.

New Formula Not As Good

I used to love these vitamins and had seen great results in the past but like many others have mentioned the new formula doesn't live up to the quality I expected now. I did an online order for store pickup and just got a bottle that has greenish bears with yellow specks in it, looks nothing like the blue bears in my current bottle so definitely will be returning them. Also, the past few months I noticed my results weren't as great as they use to be while using the product but after reading others reviews the change in ingredients must be to blame. Not sure I would recommend this product anymore.

Added artificial dyes to their vitamins!!

When I got my new bottle in my order I noticed they were more blue than usual so I looked at ingredients and now they added blue 1 to their ingredients and I feel this has ruined their claim to clean ingredients and no artificial stuff! I have noticed that trying to stay away from artificial colors and dyes has helped me attention span wise and when I do happen to eat something with artificial dyes my ADHD becomes worse so just letting you all know! Now they put artificial dyes in their product!!!

They work but....

I absolutely fell in love with these vitamins initially and I took them for about 6 months or so. my hair looked better than it's ever looked and was so long and healthy I was so happy. sadly, these vitamins stopped working for me after the 6 months and I was losing hair again. I was very religious and consistent with my vitamins I took them every day because I love my hair. I am a 37 year old female I have never had acne in my life until I took these vitamins, this is not just acne this is cystic acne. This is really hard to get rid of and 2 years later I'm still dealing with one dot on my forehead. The dermatologist gave me medications but it still won't go away now I'm trying apple cider vinegar to see if that will work. My hair has fallen out now I have a bald spot and my hairline is receding. I bought a book on how to care for your hair and it is written by a doctor who recommends taking vitamin B12 and vitamin D. I'm also going to change my diet to include more meats and protein, and get more iron in my diet. She also recommends to massage your scalp with oil immediately before you shampoo your hair. as tempted as I am to go back to these vitamins I think about it twice since I'm stuck with this permanent mark on my forehead. These vitamins are delicious but they contain a lot of vitamin a which I think is the culprit for my cystic acne. I've seen other reviews on here talking about cystic acne so I guess I'm not alone. Wishing you the best and I hope you have a better experience than I did.

Cystic Acne

I bought these and didn't notice too much difference in my hair as I only took one bottle. I did however notice my nails were very strong and growing like crazy. I can't take these again though because my face broke out in the worst acne I've never had in my life. I was literally crying every morning when I woke up and looked at my skin. It took awhile to figure out the culprit and I ended up going to the dermatologist and getting out on medication from it. If you are prone to break outs I would not recommend this. What it did to my confidence I don't wish on anyone. I heard silica is a great alternative for acne prone people to grow strong hair and nails.

Tastes great, causes major breakouts. FAST.

Makes your face break out. Don't do it. For the price point it's not even worth it. I read the reviews knowing It could cause a breakout. Having had clear skin my whole life (I'm 24) I never imagined a gummy bear could make me break out all over. I got the pimples under control but STILL. not worth it. At this point I've come to the realization that I will just stick to using hair friendly products, maintain a healthy diet, occasional hair mask and scalp massage and take Omega-3 fish oil instead. Would be better off for your hair skin and nail needs. Sugar bear disappointed to say the least.

WOW IT WORKS WONDERS !

My hair used to fall off a lot. It was severely damaged & I can honestly tell you guys that after taking these sugarbear vitamins for a few weeks my hair has grown. It feels thicker, healthy & it is a bit longer. I really didn't have hopes for these vitamins but with the little improvement I've seen I am beyond flabbergasted & happy that it works. I strongly recommend you to try if you have hair loss problems. Ladies also please remember that it usually takes 2 months to see progress. You won't see progress quick because just like any other vitamins… they need to take effect & that takes time ! 😊

NO JOKE! IT WORKS!

I bought these because I wanted to help my hair grow a bit because I'm in the awkward grown-out pixie stage, and I'm really just trying to get it all to one length. I shaved my undercut the day I started taking these vitamins, just to monitor the progress better and see if these were really legit. It's only been 2 weeks, and WOW. My hair has grown almost a half inch in those 2 weeks! I'm blown away!

I have also been a religious nail-biter since I could chew. My nails have always been paper thin, brittle, and took ages to grow. Since starting these gummies, I have managed to grow nails long enough to actually shape! My cuticles even look healthier somehow, these gummies are wild!

The one thing I didn't expect is having* to shave my legs and arms almost every day because the hair growth is NO JOKE. I've been on the same shaving schedule since I started shaving in elementary school. I would shave maybe every 3-4 days because my hair always grew super slow, even in the Summer months. These gummies make it mandatory to shave every other day. I'll deal with it while my hair gets to a length I'm happy with, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't looking forward to winter so I don't have to shave lol

Overall, I'm really happy with the results!

Thought it wouldn't happen to me…

I always read the reviews before trying a new product, especially one that has a lot of negative comments attached to it. I have never personally had an issue with high amounts of biotin and breakouts, so I thought… "it probably won't cause any issues for me". It's was too soon to tell if it actually helped with my hair at all because I only took it for a week, but in that week, my face had completely broken out, every day a new blemish, I got two cystic pimples, which I have not had since I was 17 years old. 28 years old walking around with a face full of acne. So these went straight in the trash. I decided to give it a week because I thought that maybe the state of my skin may have been due to the humidity/weather changes in my area + still having to wear a mask all day while working (I'm a nurse), but no. Within 2-3 days after discontinuing the gummies, my skin calmed down and no more eruptions.

Don't even waste your money/sacrifice your skin.

I grabbed these as I was in the checkout. I'm not great at remembering to take my regular biotin vitamin. I thought having gummies sitting on the bathroom counter would be such an easy way to remember. I was super excited to see the results of taking these.

I had seen several reviews of people getting horrible acne and thought that was nuts. After being on the Sugar Bear hair vitamins for a few weeks my chin started to break out with a lot acne….huge, horrible, deep acne. I've had a few zits here & there. Never anything like this. I stopped taking the vitamins after just 3 weeks. My face has stopped breaking out. Now I start the process of getting my skin back to normal.

I have been on this product for over 3 months now and I normally don't write reviews but I was shocked at how well this worked I felt I should let others know.. I wrote my first review a month after taking this because I saw results In just a month.. it's now over 3 months and I have so much more hair growth it's incredible! my hair thinned out after having my daughter and I was a little hesitant to try this because I wasn't sure how it would work but I'm so glad I did! It takes time but the results in the end are so worth it!

My hair did grow but I didn't like the side affects

So it was awesome because over time my hair felt like it was growing and it was... But I was very moody, hair was breaking off, and I overall didn't feel like myself. For some odd reason it was really affecting my "mood" I had random mood swings... and didn't feel happy most days. Which btw isn't like me at all, I'm naturally a really happy person, so I was noticing this. I've been off it for a month and definitely see a change. I'm not moody like I was when I was eating the gummies. My hair didn't break as easy, and I swapped to another brand that doesn't effect my mood. Which is real nice😂😂

Hair loss and acne!

After hearing and reading great things about this gummies I decided to give it a shot. I took it for less then ONE week and had horrible acne all on my neck and HAIR LOSS!!!! I know we shed hair but this was ridiculous! Weather I was washing it, brushing it or even just putting it up in a pony tail! I would just gently run my fingers through my hair and hair strands upon strands wrapped around my fingers and hand. This is absolutely horrible I didn't even want to take it for the recommended time for the fear or losing more hair! How does a hair growth product make you lose hair?!?! Nope nope! Went back to the store in a week.

It works

I don't care what any "experts" might say about how nothing can make your hair grow faster, this stuff works. A bad stylist melted 90% of my perfectly healthy hair off back in early february, I tried to save what was left but it was mush when wet and snapping off when dry. I had no choice but to get a pixie cut. The back of my hair was so damaged it had to be almost shaved, it was maybe 1.5cm long at the most. Needless to say I was devastated and I will never let another stylist come near me with chemicals ever again. The second stylist did the best she could with the carnage and everyone else loves me with short hair, but I hate it. It's not ME and I want my long hair back as soon as possible.

I started taking these a few days after the bleach fail, so it's been 5-6 weeks now. I dyed it back to my natural color so I can't gauge the growth by my roots, but I measured the shortest parts of the back and it's grown AT LEAST 2cm since I've been taking SBH. I have some front pieces that just grazed my jaw after the pixie cut, and they're now past my jaw. Compared to my normal 1cm/mo that's a huge difference.

Yes it's pricey, but what is your hair worth to you? $30 is mere pennies to pay to get my self-esteem back as fast as possible. Plus they taste better than any other gummies I've tried, it's hard to eat just 2 a day.

Helped with hair loss

I was nervous to buy these because of the price, but I'm so glad I tried them. I take these along with the multivitamin. I've been taking the multivitamin for two months and this one for one month. I just purchased a three month supply of both. I do also take collagen gummies. I have very thick Asian hair and I was losing so much hair, like just pulling out clumps of hair in the shower and hair all over the floor when I would brush it. Since taking things I only lose about five hairs in the shower, which feels normal compared to probably over a hundred before! And I'm having less breakage when brushing and drying my hair. My hair is so much shinier and feels healthier. I've tried other hair vitamins and didn't notice this kind of result. I also think they taste great and they've basically become my after dinner dessert (way better than ice cream lol). My skin even feels clearer!

Works wonders for my course damaged hair

I've always had very thick ethnic hair that can be extremely difficult! My hair usually grows super slowly but once I started taking these I noticed after about a month of daily use that my hair had started to grow nicely! I've read reviews that some users have experienced acne breakouts but in my case it hasn't negatively affected my skin at all. I'm extremely prone to acne and have sensitive skin and it hasn't caused any flare ups for me. Seriously though, I stopped taking these for a few months because I got broke and lazy lol and saw my hair shorten from damage. So I'm back on these daily and I'm looking forward to long happy hair once again < 3

Just bought another 3 bottles

I was seeing so much hair go down the drain it was very devastating. I do have some heath issues and have been under a great deal of stress. I started using these vitamins 2 & 1/2 months ago and that all stopped very quickly. Now there is only a tiny amount of hair in the drain when I wash it. This is the only thing that has helped so far. Just ordered HCL with pepsin to see if that will make my hair thicker and maybe help these absorb even better. I have not noticed any breakouts from using this. It has definitely saved my hair.

Thyroid issues? THESE ARE THE BOMB!

So I started using sugar bear hair about 4-5 months and let me tell you my hair got so long looked and so healthy! On top of that, I have thyroid issues so my hair is very thin. I started to take these and my hair started to thicken up and grow. Well, I stopped buying them due to being so busy and haven't had time to go get any. Well, let me tell you. I have noticed a HUGE change to my hair. I tried other products they DO NOT work like this product. My hand has gotten thinner again has stopped growing is starting to break and look awful so of course, I had to cut it. I'm starting to take these again because my hair needs them. I totally recommend them. They AREN'T a scam and worth every penny!!!

Use for Growth/ Damage Repair

I began using these hair vitamins about four months ago, I took a photo at the start of my first bottle to measure for progress and compared it to a photo taken shortly after finishing the third bottle. I was very impressed with the results! My hair was just a smidge past my shoulders and is now almost halfway down my back- my hair has grown about 3-4 inches! I majorly reduced my heat usage during this progress- as well as using the 'It's a ten' spray right after showering. My boyfriend noticed how much thicker and fuller my hair has gotten as well as the growth I've achieved! I'm so pleased with my results that I purchased another 3 month supply.
