Thought it wouldn't happen to me…

I always read the reviews before trying a new product, especially one that has a lot of negative comments attached to it. I have never personally had an issue with high amounts of biotin and breakouts, so I thought… "it probably won't cause any issues for me". It's was too soon to tell if it actually helped with my hair at all because I only took it for a week, but in that week, my face had completely broken out, every day a new blemish, I got two cystic pimples, which I have not had since I was 17 years old. 28 years old walking around with a face full of acne. So these went straight in the trash. I decided to give it a week because I thought that maybe the state of my skin may have been due to the humidity/weather changes in my area + still having to wear a mask all day while working (I'm a nurse), but no. Within 2-3 days after discontinuing the gummies, my skin calmed down and no more eruptions.

Don't even waste your money/sacrifice your skin.

Thanks for the gift of giant cystic acne!

I grabbed these as I was in the checkout. I'm not great at remembering to take my regular biotin vitamin. I thought having gummies sitting on the bathroom counter would be such an easy way to remember. I was super excited to see the results of taking these.

I had seen several reviews of people getting horrible acne and thought that was nuts. After being on the Sugar Bear hair vitamins for a few weeks my chin started to break out with a lot acne….huge, horrible, deep acne. I've had a few zits here & there. Never anything like this. I stopped taking the vitamins after just 3 weeks. My face has stopped breaking out. Now I start the process of getting my skin back to normal.

Hair loss and acne!

After hearing and reading great things about this gummies I decided to give it a shot. I took it for less then ONE week and had horrible acne all on my neck and HAIR LOSS!!!! I know we shed hair but this was ridiculous! Weather I was washing it, brushing it or even just putting it up in a pony tail! I would just gently run my fingers through my hair and hair strands upon strands wrapped around my fingers and hand. This is absolutely horrible I didn't even want to take it for the recommended time for the fear or losing more hair! How does a hair growth product make you lose hair?!?! Nope nope! Went back to the store in a week.

Broke Out In A Rash on My Legs

Soooo apparently I am allergic to these. I haven't taken Biotin supplements in a long time, so I decided to ease into it by taking 1 per day to make sure it wasn't going to cause my skin to break out in acne all over my face. It's never happened to me in the past, but after researching more about this product and Biotin in general, I learned that acne breakouts are relatively common. I took 1 of the gummies one the first day and all seemed well. I then took one gummy the following morning, but by the afternoon both of my legs broke out with itchy rashes above my knees. I hadn't taken them since, but the rash was still there until I finally decided to take an antihistamine yesterday. Rash has basically disappeared, but it tells me that for whatever reason, I am allergic to these. I used to take the It Works Hair Skin and Nails supplements and never had any issues. Not sure why these caused a reaction, but I won't be taking them again.

LONG TERM ACNE!!

I never used to get acne, but after trying the sample size bottle of these vitamins for about a week I got terrible cystic acne all over my face. However, that was a few months ago. It's assumed that the acne would go away by now. NOPE! My old, perfectly clear skin has been destroyed and I get cystic acne all the time now. The pimples have left scars that won't go away with almost any face masks or anything I try. I only used it for a week and it ruined my skin!! If you naturally have clear skin and don't need a skin routine, DO NOT TRY THIS. My effortlessly perfect skin is gone and may never come back even with my new skin care routine. I read reviews similar to mine before buying but figured because I never get acne that I wouldn't need to worry about it, but I should've. Don't make the same mistake that I did and ignore this!!

NOPE NOPE NOPE

I used to take these years ago, they are overpriced for glorified pieces of candy. The sugar content is crazy in these! They do not work even after I had used them for a year or so. If you want a good hair growth gummy try HUM nutrition's! There is hardly any sugar and that is what I switched to, I have issues with cystic acne and they did not cause any issues unlike Sugarbear hair. These are way overhyped and you'd have to be silly to believe all the "influencers/ celebrities" advertising these are taking them themselves and not getting any kind of affiliate pay.

I wouldn't EVER waste money on this product again

Please don't buy this .. I was desperate to grow my hair and trusted celebrity's using this , it taste good but that's probably because it's all sugar and my face was always clear and maybe I'd have a pimple sometimes but never suffered from acne and no one in my family has acne when I took this I read comments about them having acne but I just assumed they had delicate skin , I have normal skin and I been trying to get rid of this acne for over a year now and I'm 100% sure it's because of these gummies

Cystic Acne ALERT

I have super clear face, never really struggled with blemishes or acne. I eat really healthy and have been running, swimming and biking on a weekly basis. I started this product because I am swimming three times a week and have been washing my hair more than normal so I wanted a "pick me up" for my hair to help with growth and vitamins. After four days of using sugarbear hair two times a day, my cheek/jaw line had cystic acne i mean they were huge and really painful. I have read reviews online for others getting the same type of acne and this product just isnt for me. Its not worth my clear skin scarring.

Acne on scalp 😩

I was Sooooo sad when I realized the horrible itchy cystic acne I started getting was from these! They taste great and I was very excited to see what results I would get but had to discontinue because of the acne. It started out when I was almost finished my first bottle along my hairline and was very itchy. I discontinued using it and they started going away. After taking a week break from the vitamins 3 days into taking them, the acne began to pop back up not only on my hairline but right next to my eyebrows! I am 33 years old and NEVER have acne. So disappointed I have to stop using them 😩

Do not use cause cystic acne

About a couple weeks or so after starting SugarBearHair hair i started getting painful acne. Wasn't thinking it was SugarBearHair related. Then I was comparing SugarBearHair and Viviscal (cause my hairdresser recommended it) and i found articles and reviews galore about how it cause painful cystic acne. And I'm not one for acne and have never has acne. So no I didn't just believe what the internet said. I went to my dermatologist and she said to stop it immediately she has seen many cases of patients getting acne from it.

Scam

There is nothing in these gummies that you can't get in a cheaper supplement at the drugstore. Unless you have an actual vitamin deficiency, a supplement will not do anything. Biotin supplements are everywhere. That's all these are. Plus, you're paying the high price for these because they taste good. Why pay so much money for gummy candy with tons of sugar when you can just pop a hair, skin, and nails vitamin from literally any drug store. I think a lot of the positive reviews for these gummies are the placebo effect.
