Love/Hate
This is my 3rd base in less than a year. I just got this one and it's already down to the three lights. I really have a love hate relationship with this iron. I love what it gives but i hate that it costs so much and doesn't last at all.
Convertible Base Review
I'm so glad T3 has the convertible line, it's great that you have the ability to switch out to so many different tools without having to purchase an entire new iron! It also helps with space taken up in the bathroom. Fantastic product!
Still not sure
The pictures on the website aren't really accurate for how the curls come out. It gives me super prom curls and I'm thinking I should be switching to a different barrel. The curls definitely do last but I don't think this was the look I was going for.
Convenient & Practical
I purchased the base and 3 different barrels on promotion, and I couldn't be happier! So easy to change out the barrels. Took a few tries to figure out how to adjust the heat setting. I feel like I'll never need to purchase another curling iron ever again
Magic wand
I have as straight hair as they come. Used every curling iron in the market. T3 curling iron is a God send. It was love at first sight. My curls lasted the whole day and night with minimal products used. I would recommend it to everyone who is looking for a curling iron.
Doesn't even work.
Fresh from the box and it doesn't even function properly. Heats up then the lights flash as if no barrel is installed, and the temp drops. I love the idea and design, and wanted this to work so, so badly. I contacted t3 for warranty info and their process sketches me out (cutting the cord just to receive a refurbished used replacement). I'm holding onto it until I can figure out the best course of action, as I'd love to have one that works properly.
Worth the splurge
So I wanted to wait a little before reviewing this and really seeing if it's worth the splurge. I can now officially say that it totally is. I have long thick heavy hair down to my lower back and have always struggle to find a good product to keep my curls. Not to mention I have the humid Miami heat working against me. I finally found an amazing product that I can fully stand behind. I got the 1" barrel and I am in love. The curls lasted over 3 days and looked like they were done by a professional. I am obsessed.
T3 Convertible Base
I love how my hair comes out with my new T3 base & polished curls. The only issue I have is that while I'm curling my hair, my fingers keep accidentally hitting the on/off control button and I have to re-set it. I wish the on/off control button was located somewhere else where my fingers don't touch it while curling my hair. Have you had this feedback from other people? If you wind up changing the location of the on/off control button, would it be possible for you to send me a new base for free?

I really like this curling iron. I didn't care for the bodywaver - it caught in my hair a lot. But took a chance on this iron with several of the interchangeable wands and tongs. I love how smooth and shiny my hair looks, the ease of being able to change out sizes, and having control over the temp. I own both of the GHD curl tongs and one of their wands. While I loved using them, I hated having the temp always at 365F. My fine, wavy, bleached hair doesn't need that high of heat, and I feel over the long term it was really damaging my hair. We'll see over the next few months how the T3 does.

How To Use
To switch the barrel, line up the side pins on the barrel with the slots in the Convertible Base (sold separately or included with your Whirl Trio, Whirl Convertible or Twirl Convertible) and insert the barrel firmly into it. Rotate the lock until it clicks. The dot symbol on the barrel lock should line up with the lock symbol on the Convertible Base when securely fastened.
