Amazing tool for shorter hair
Holy cow. I LOVE the edge! I got it at a crazy low price during a Valentine's Sale, but i would honestly pay full price for how well this thing works. I chopped my long hair off into a Italian bob about 5-6 months ago and have struggled with styling it - my stubbornly wavy and super thick hair was NOT working for me . Air drying is not an option for my hair texture - its NOT a cute/sexy wavy! I have struggled to get and keep it straight, especially in back and around my ears. Both round brush drying and flat ironing were not cutting it. I decided to give this a try and OMG. Not only does this work better at taming my stubborn hair texture than my $130 straightener, but it gave me the blowout look I've been after ever since I got my chop. I am SO glad I found this tool! I feel like the negative reviews must be due to some degree of user error or unrealistic expectations, because this thing works phenomenally!!
Waste of money.
This is a good tool for the morning after hair styling. It does not make my hair straight very straight. Takes a lot of time. What's disappointing is the bristles that are at the outer edge are all bent out of shape. They got bent out of shape with the first use. I would not recomment this tool at alll.
Best hot brush on the market
Amazing! I have medium length, curly hair that tends to be frizzy. I generally have to blow dry with a round brush and smooth with a flat iron or curling iron if I want loose curls. It takes multiple passes. No other tool ever works on my hair. The first time I tried this hot brush, it worked amazingly fast to smooth my hair. I tested it by half doing the blowout so my hair was super frizzy, but this brush smooth it with a quick swipe at each section. My hair lasted 3 days with only a tiny touch-up on the bangs. Highly recommend.
I wanted to like it but...
I had hoped the brush portion of the tool would provide some "grab" on my hair. It doesn't. The brush spikes don't do much, so you have to hold your hair on the brush and the edges. There isn't a great way to even get to the ends of your hair, because you have to hold it. In theory, it seems like a great tool, but in reality, it's not. RETURNED
Love it.
Wow. Game changer. I can not use a flat iron with the results I want. I love that this does not cause frizziness, does not fry my hair, it smooths my hair, creates shine, and leaves body unlike flat irons.
Regrettable purchase
This brush is too bulky, difficult to get close to roots. I don't even bother with it anymore, my Tymo is much better by far. If the box wasn't thrown away, this would've been returned, for me a complete waste of money. Other cheaper straightening brushes work better; from my experience.
Where have you been all my life?
This product has changed my life! I HATE blow drying my thick curly porous hair. I let it dry naturally now and use the Edge to straighten it. It takes less than 10 minutes and my hair is pin straight and shiny. I wish I had the Edge years ago.
SOOOO GOOOD!
FELL IN LOVE! I have a heated brush I used for 8 years from another brand. I can't believe how much better this tool is! I'm not good with tools, and this is SOOO easy. I have wavy to curly fine hair, so I use heat sparingly. This tool smooths effortlessly and creates waves with a turn of the wrist. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
It's an OK brush
I spent my hard earn cash on this products so my review will be honest and not based on receiving a free item for a review like most people here.
For the price of this product it does nothing another similar brush could do with a 1/4 of the price of this.
First off it is way too heavy, doesn't even straighten my hair and my hair is medium course long slightly wavy/straight so I don't see how I couldn't achieve a straight look. I will say it did leave my hair shiny and with some volume but any brush straightener does this to my hair. Overall, I returned a settled with the Babyliss Straightener brush!!
Great product, but not for traveling
This is a great product. I have long, thick, wavy, frizzy hair and it takes me about 30 mins to style my hair with this and it looks great. I got lots of compliments after my first use. The only reason I give it 4 stars (I would give a 4.5 if a could) is because it is bulkier and heavier than other ones I've used. Not a problem for me to use at home, but this isn't a styling tool I would travel with.

How To Use
Start with completely dry, detangled hair. Twist the top part of your hair out of the way and secure it with a section clip. Gather the bottom half of your hair into another clip leaving out a 2" section to begin styling. Brush the section from root to tip, gliding slowly in the direction of hair growth. Continue working with 2" sections until hair is fully styled. Turn the smoothing hair brush slightly to use the heated edge for smoothing and adding volume at the roots. When nearing the ends, turn the brush slightly, as the heated edge will help create shape and bend at the ends. For more styling versatility, twist the brush while combing through hair to add a gentle wave to your strands.
Caution: Do not wrap the power cord of the heated brush around the tool as this may damage the electrical wiring. Do not let the heated plates touch your skin as you may get burnt. Consult the enclosed user guide prior to use.
