Not good for medium length, fine hair.
I picked this barrel size based on the product description provided in the web page which seems incorrect. It doesn't look like the lose waves come only from the barrel size but some additional consideration regarding the type of hair to make a good decision would have been helpful.
1 1/2 inch
My hair is a few inches past my shoulder. This size Irion didn't curl my hair well. I have the smallest Iron and it gives me the perfect curl. T3 customer service is GREAT!
It's amazing!
This thing is amazing. It heats up fast and curls so quickly. I could do my entire head in a few minutes. So nice, when you want to look good and have a zoom meeting in five minutes. Wear the glove, it gets super hot.

Wonderful purchase
Wonderful tool makes my thick hair look so shiny and the waives look so effortless and beachy, I have switched to T3 a few months ago once I tried one of their curling iron and now I have 6 different hair tools from them. It heats up real fast the different heat levels makes it perfect for everyone
Didn't work for 18" fine straight hair
I wanted this to work so bad but it didn't. I debated keeping it until my hair is longer but I still don't think it would work for me.
GOOD HAIR DAY!
This wand attachment is amazing! It leaves the most soft and loose waves! Impossible to make your hair too curly! This add a TON of volume too! I would recommend for anyone with short hair though! A tip for short hair is to flat iron the ends so it leaves a nice wave even though you have to use a smaller barrel:)

I had to repurchase this product as mine broke out of my set after about 2 1/2 years that part was a little frustrating considering the price kd the wand but after using different curlers for a while before repurchasing I was confident this is well worth the money. Leaves my curls shiny and bouncy and they last!!

How To Use
Consult the enclosed user guide prior to use. Begin with dry, detangled hair. Divide hair at the temples and secure the top half out of the way. Then divide the bottom half into 1-2'' sections to begin styling. Hold the wand over your head with the tip pointing downward and wrap a section of hair around the barrel. Finish with the end of the section against the barrel tip. Hold for a few seconds, then slide the wand out to release the wave.
Precautions: Use a heat resistant glove when styling to protect against accidental burns in case your hand comes in contact with the heated barrel.
