Good but NOT cheap

Bought a couple of months ago - Like the different heat settings and it does make my hair straight and smooth. It is a little on the heavier size and the clamping takes a little more of a squeeze (so my hand gets a little tired after a few minutes of use) but to be expected for a straightening iron. One less star is because of the cost. Hindsight being 20/20, on the fence to spend as much as I did.

T3 Lucea 1.5

Already own the T3 Singlepass and was very happy with it. However, my hair is now long so I purchased the T3 Lucea 1.5. It heats up very quickly and does an excellent job straightening my wavy hair. The reason I gave it a 4 star rating was the placement of the on/off switch. I find I accidentally turn it off when using. The switch is located on the outside of the handle. The switch on the Singlepass is located on the plate side of the flat iron.

Favorite Iron

The best iron for think long hair. The wide plates allow me to straighten or style in less than 10 minutes. I absolutely recommend. Only con is that it doesnt show the temperature on the iron. But it does come with a booklet explaining the heat settings and temp.

1.5" great for curly hair

I've had the T3 single pass 1" for years. It's been good but I didn't know what I was missing with the 1.5" until I purchased one for my daughter and tried hers. I have super curly (but not super thick just medium) hair that I never wear curly and it's a struggle! I blow dry with a round brush (with my T3 dryer) and the go over with my new 1.5" Lucea and it has made it so much easier and I can straighten larger sections at a time. I am a big fan!

Very Silky. Few adjustments

This hair straightener has gotten my hair super silky straight. I just wish it had a digital temperature and I wish the power button was placed somewhere else because I kept hitting the off button. But it did the job!

I have the Lucea ID but wanted a bigger version and decided to order this one. I can do my hair so much faster. Love the visual tool, the technology and it smooths out my thick, frizzy hair very fast. Took one star off because the cord came completely out of the base and I had to plug it back in. Seems to stay but made me a bit worried about the longevity of the tool and if it's actually high quality.

Great Quality, for me there is one flaw.

I love this iron. It heats up quickly, adds shine and straightens on the first pass. It is a good weight and feels well made. One only flaw I find is the placement of the on/off button. With button being on the outside of the handles, I quite frequently accidentally shut the thing off while I'm using it. If I'm thinking about it the whole time, I remember to hold it a specific way so that my hand doesn't land around the button. However, I don't always remember when I'm in a hurry and that is precisely the WORST time to have your iron power down without you immediately noticing. Could just be an issue because of the size of my hands, who knows, but for me that is the one and only flaw with this iron.

Love t3 products, but this is too big for my han…

I work one-handed on my hair, and this was Too big and heavy for my hand to use one- handed. My other t3 products are lighter. I imagine the 1" plate would have worked better for me. Also, I could not get a curl with this, but heats up amazingly fast as all t3 products have. For me, I just need a different model. For someone with larger hands or Elwin works 2 handed, this may not be an issue.

Nice straightener

I have been so undecided on buying a new straightener but this was on sale and recommended by a hair dresser so I took the leap. It's nice. Heats up fast. It does pull some of my fly away strands but in all honesty I'm still trying to figure out it that's user error. I'm also still on the fence about the price of it. I'm the only one that uses it and I don't use it everyday so it feels overpriced from that perspective but if someone was using it daily or it was being used multiple times a day, several times per week, then it is probably worth it.

My hair loves it!

After using another reputable brand that fried my hair, it is nice to have a straightner that controls my frizz and keeps my hair healthy. In the future, I would prefer a black one as this one holds stains so easily.

Works with natural hair

I'm so surprised at how much I like this! I've been wearing my hair straight this summer. But ever since I have gotten this, I have not had to go to the salon. I'm able to straighten my natural hair with one pass! Complimentary from t3 micro

Beautiful design!

(gifted by T3 Micro in exchange for honest review) I love the design & the rose gold on this. So cute! I had my previous straightener for about 7 years & it just smelled burnt at this point so i was excited to get a new one!! This one is nice & doesn't smell burnt thankfully. I wish I could see the temperature, but it felt just right for my thick wavy hair. Overall I'm happy with it! My hair was super soft, has less frizz & it took less time than my last straightener which was a smaller plate.

Excited to learn more

I have used the same hair straightener for like the last 10 years, so I was very excited to try a new one. I usually use a straightener to create some volume and curls, so that's what I've been trying with this one. Overall I like this straightener. Great tool!

I received this product complimentary from T3 Micro to test out and review, and I really like it! It's a very nice tool. I've been able to use it to create both straight and wavy styles. I like that it has so many heat settings and that is has an auto-off feature. The heating component itself is really wide, which makes it very efficient. It works in one pass! Overall, a great styling tool! Looking forward to using it more!

Flat Iron

I got the T3 rapid heat Lucea Hot straightener for hair size 1.5". Its easy to turn on and directions were easy to understand. It heated up well and I straightened my hair with no problem. Only draw back is I like to know the temp its on and this does not display that. The handle was right size and didnt give me a issues when holding it as I was using it. Has nice long cord and has velcro so when your not using you can wind it up for easy storage.

when i got this straightener i had to ask my daughter how to use it since i have never used one before and once she showed me how to use i was like this is easy to use I had fun creating different hairstyles my daughter really liked this

Does a good job

I like the look of this straightener. Super cute style. Using it is straightforward and easy. It gets hot inside but the outside does not (yay no burnt fingers). It does the job but not quite as well as the last one I had of a different brand. Overall it is a solid purchase but maybe not the very best one out there.
