Do not waste your money

I bought this curling iron back in October of 2022. I wish I could return it. It's expensive, the curls do not last, my hair gets stuck and pulled at the clasp and no matter what setting I have it on or what heat protector I've got in my hair, my hair STINKS like burned hair. I have a rose gold conair curling iron that is far superior than this one and it's less than half the price of this one!

Terrible curler for my hair

I bought this curler in august but only use this item for special occasions or for when I go out. The curl doesn't really curl and it kind of burns the ends of your hair even on the lowest heat. At first I thought it was user error but I watched a bunch of videos on how to do it and realized that it wasn't me. I called for a refund or an exchange for a different product but it was denied and I escalated it so I can speak to a manager and I was told someone would call me back and have not heard from anyone. I have the straightner and hair dryer but my experience with this curler has been frustrating. Frustrating especially with the company's lack of support.

Not as Expected

I purchased the trio and had such high hopes due to reviews and the price tag. I agree that this curling iron is sleek and the heat settings are great but the curls do not stay/last whatsoever. I feel like a regular priced curling iron will give you the same affect as this one does. So disappointing.

Disappointed

I was looking for a new curling iron and was excited to try this one out. I've had it for about 2 months and I'm not at all impressed. The spring where the clamp is constantly rips out pieces of my hair. Since using this curling iron I have also had such a problem with my hair holding a curl and I feel like it takes me forever to curl my hair. I wouldn't recommmend this curling iron.

Not worth it

Love the aesthetic but there is some serious design flaw with the clamp, spring and the outside rose gold part. The clamp is way too strong and somehow my hair gets stuck by the spring inside/the rose gold part on the outside. This curler constantly tears out single strands or even worse I've had to cut my hair out before. I can't recommend this over a drugstore curler because of the price, curls that still fall flat and the design flaw. To others who commented on the burnt hair smell - I've had that too with this. Always use some type of heat protectant. Pass on this and try out a Beachwaver instead.

Not worth the money!

I am not a fan and I wish I could return it. It makes my hair stink like burnt hair, even on low. I curl my hair everyday and I've never had this problem with any wand or curling iron I've owned previously. With my old wand I could curl my hair and it would last me a couple days of curls with a few touch ups, and with this I have to curl all my hair over. It's so frustrating because I'm normally not one to complain but I want my money back and I can't and people should know what they're buying. My husband got me this for Christmas and now I'm stuck because I kept it so I wouldn't hurt his feeling and with hopes it would grow on me. But it's been 5 months and it still makes my hair stink and because I have to keep it on low so it doesn't make my hair smell worse it doesn't hold curls.

Lost all shine to my hair, does not hold curl

It took me two years to realize this device had taken all the shine from my hair. I thought it was related to being a new first time mother. I recently went back to using my inexpensive con air curling iron and my shine has come back and my curl lasts for days (I lost curls the same days with the T3). This is a reminder that more expensive is not always better! Unfortunately it took me forever to figure that out

Extremely Disappointed

I have long hair and the curls did not hold for more than 30 minutes. I have coarse hair texture so curls usually last 3 days on me. The bio ionic long barrel works better than this. This curler also takes twice as long to use than other hair tools I own. I really regret this expensive purchase and wasting my points.

Makes my hair smell burned for days even after washing

I was so excited to try this curling iron and was beyond disappointed with how it made my hair smell burned for days and multiple washes. I curled my toddlers hair and it did the same thing. I tried using it on all settings from lowest to highest temp. Curls do not last long at all. Both of ours fell out within just a few hours. My daughters fell out within one hour or less. Will not buy anything from T3 again due to the burn smell.

Burns hair

I really wanted to like this product. My curls looked unreal and I love how sleek it looks. However, no matter what heat setting I use, my hair smells burnt for DAYS. Not even shampooing will get the smell out -- have to shampoo twice. My sister-in-law has the same one and her hair does the same thing. I dont want to 1) smell bad and 2) if it smells that burnt, I cant imagine what its doing to my hair. Not sure why this one does that, but my other irons never did that. Had to return.

Don't. Just don't

I bought this about a week ago. I was so excited for this to come in, as I had already learned how to curl my hair with my friend, who's watched many videos on hair. It came in and the clip doesn't hold my hair AT ALL, the curler pulls out my already extremely thin hair, AND the curler doesn't keep my hair curled (no, not even with A LOT of hairspray). My friend had the t3 heat id, so maybe that one's better, but definitely NOT this one.

I can't get my hair to hold curl from this curling iron :(

I wanted this curling iron to work SO bad. I saw all of the rave reviews and was thrilled when I got it for Christmas. I used it a few times over about 30 days and I used hair spray, which I never even have to use, but I could not get the curls to last whatsoever. I was so upset, because I wanted to love this tool and I wanted it to work. I made sure my hair was dry all the way, I used hair spray, texture spray... hair dirty, hair clean.. nothing worked. I had to exchange for the Dry Bar Mixologist and I love it. Not sure why I had these issues when not many others seem to. I tried it on my daughters hair and mine... nothing. I don't even have to use hairspray with the mixologist and the curls last days.. I just don't know, but beware.

No good

This curling iron did not curl my hair and left my hair smelling burnt to a crisp. I have curly hair and normally do very well with Hot Tools' ceramic curling irons, so I opted to try T3's ceramic curling iron. Did not work at all, my hair didn't curl. It was straight and the smell was so terribly awful. Returned this curling iron the next day!

Burnt smelling hair and didn't hold a curl

Ok. So I thought for sure I would love this. I threw out the box and the return shipping label because I was so certain. It did not hold a curl and made my hair smell burnt. I used it over two weeks ago and can still smell the burnt in my hair. I have curly hair originally and my hair holds curl. But this did not work. I don't think I can send it back since I got rid of the box and return label. I had higher hopes for this. Super disappointed.

Curls don't last at all :(

I have thick, straight hair. I wanted a really nice curling iron and the reviews on this were great. Unfortunately it does NOT do what it says it does.

1. The curls fall out within 15 minutes. No matter what products I use, hair spray, curling technique, etc. They still fall.

2. The bottom part where the clamp meets the curling iron TRAPS my hair and gets tangled in the coil. There's nothing there to keep it from getting stuck and it happens to every single curl.

3. The bottom twist "on" part is a nice thought, but it CLICKS every time I turn the iron as I'm curling my hair. Like you have to hold the bottom... it's unavoidable. But I just hear this plastic clicking every time I touch it. It sounds cheap and it gets really annoying really fast.

I was really hoping for something way better for the price point, but honestly my twenty dollar 1" conair iron does more for me than this. I'm super disappointed in this product and will be returning.

Doesn't work on my hair

I've had this curling iron for nearly 8 months. In that time, I have tried so many different techniques and products in an attempt to get this to work for my hair. Sadly, it just doesn't. I have naturally wavy hair and have never had any problems with any other hot tool holding styling in my hair. It takes me 10 minutes to curl my full head of hair and by the time I get to the last curl the first curl has already completely fallen out. Within an hour my hair is pin straight. I don't know why this doesn't work for my hair at all, but I have finally given up on it - even extreme hold hairspray can't keep my curls intact. I'm so disappointed because I had high hopes for this curling iron.

Do not waste your money

Leaves a burnt smell in your hair even on low settings and holding for 5 seconds. The curls fall flat within an hour and the burnt smell lingers for days. Hair gets stuck around the clip and you have to rip out or risk frying the rest of your hair. I don't understand how this costs so much and is such terrible quality. It's completely overhyped. If your used to quality hair tools this is not it!

Hate it

I had crazy high hopes for this iron. Drove to three stores trying to find it in stock. Got up early the next morning to do my hair before work and most of the curl had fallen out before I got in the car. By lunch it was basically gone and i just looked like I had gotten caught in a down pour. Sorry, for this price point this is unacceptable. It's going back. So sad

Had to return

I wanted to love this curling iron so bad but after having to return & replace them not once but twice was the last straw for me. Although it gives beautiful curls and waves it's just not worth the frustration and agony of thinking I will get burned because

curling irons literally falls apart-off while sitting or using them. For the price you would think the materials used would be of better quality but unfortunately it's terrible. I've purchased $20 curling irons that has lasted for years and I've only had these for a couple of months and they're useless. No I DO NOT recommend the T3 curling irons.

Broke after only 1 year

I bought this curling iron one year ago and it has already broken. I tried to exchange it for a new one but they told me it has been too long. This expensive of a curling iron should last longer than a year. I will go back to my less expensive ones and but it from a store with a better exchange policy.
