Not for thin hair

T3 Micro gifted me a 1.5 in barrel curling iron. I had a hard time using this as it doesn't allow my hair to curl no matter the setting. It crimps my hair where it clamps but does not actually curl my hair with any heat setting. I am not sure if this is because my hair is so thin but very long, or what the issue could be. I have tried on 3-day unwashed hair and fresh hair. Nothing makes a difference.

Okay curling iron

I bought this last December and have been using it ever since. It's an okay curling iron. I don't usually struggle with my curls lasting, but even when I spray lots of hairspray or dry shampoo, my curls will be completely gone by morning. I wish I could get at least two days worth of curls so I'm not styling my hair every single day. I do like the longer barrel though.

Great at first, but really fragile

Decided to treat myself to a good quality curling iron. The reviews were great. I only use it for special occasions (once a week), and I found it curled my hair nicely. However, after only a few months of using it, the plastic on the handle broke off completely; pieces chipped off making it impossible to repair. I am really disappointed given the cost. Totally not worth the money I dished out for it

On to the next.....

I have medium length fine hair but A LOT of it.The hardware on this iron snags my hair and my waves didn't even last one day which I don't normally have an issue with. With my last curling iron I could get 3 days out of my waves. This iron seems very well made and heats up quickly and gets very hot. But overall it's performance was disappointing for me, especially for the price. I'm returning to try another brand.

Just okay

This 1.5 inch curling iron is built very well. Solid materials that heat up quickly. It is a bit top heavy but I can get past that. The curl produced is "okay". I tried this multiple times with different styling products to aid in curl adhesion but my best result was with nothing at all. My hair is pretty fine so the curl that is produced is beautiful but seems to fall rather quickly. This could be user error for sure, but I do not typically have that issue. The barrel has a stay cool tip making it easy to handle and helping avoid burning my fingertips. The cord is long enough that it is useful without being so long that it gets in the way. It is a beautiful piece, solid white with gold trim. All in all though the performance was just "okay".

T3 is the best curling irons

This mauve color is very beautiful I just did not like the turn for the temperature I have very fine hair so I have to have it on one and it wanted to be on five and I couldn't get it to work so I believe it was a defective one. IAlready have the snap on set of curling irons that I love very much so I'm just gonna stick with them T3 is a great product

Overpriced and okay

My husband got me this as a Christmas gift.. I have long thick hair and I like the fact that this curler has settings for hair texture. It gets hot pretty fast so that's a plus too. Where it falls short is the touch screen setting.. so inconvenient. You can lock the iron by double pressing the power button but when ur holding the handle, u have to make sure u don't touch the power button again cause it will unlock and change the settings, it's really annoying. It's a good curling iron but definitely not worth the price.

Wasn't impressed

I was very excited to purchase this and used it as soon as I came home. I like the sleek look and design of the tool and have to say it did heat up very fast. That's about where the pros end for me unfortunately. The hair doesn't pass as smoothly and I expected and would get caught in the spring located at the bottom of the clamp. It also kept leaving creases in my hair no matter which way I turned the iron or angle I used. Will be returning.

Single pass curl 1"

I wanted to love it- it's pretty but my hair gets caught in the clamp. Also the curl holds for a couple of hours and then is gone. I have a hot tools curling iron that holds the curl longer. I didn't mind splurging for this because I figured it would be healthier for my hair. I was disappointed. My hair has a natural wave to it and is medium texture.

Still on the hunt

I've been on the hunt for a while now to find a curling iron that will actually hold my curls throughout the day (I have very fine, long hair). This unfortunately wasn't it. I tried with hairspray and dry shampoo to get a hold. Curls only lasted a couple of hours. Giving it three stars because I can tell it's a nice tool. The smooth texture makes it easy to twirl hair around and it seems like good quality. I'm sure it works wonders on different hair types. Just unfortunately not mine. Will keep looking.

Best curls, but...

This curling iron is by far the best one I've used. It makes my hair have extremely beautiful curls that hold all day, even with having thick Italian hair. BUT, the mechanism of the iron has fallen apart on me. The screws that hold the handle together, they are stripped and will not stay in. Now I am using it as a wand. Am curious if this happened to anyone else, or why this happened to me, possibly a manufacturer defect?

Okay curler

I don't curl my hair daily but I'd say at least once a week. I currently use a straightener or other brand curler. The straightener has been the only thing that worked well for me. I have medium fine hair so it's difficult to find a product that works well. There are a lot of pros to this product but also a lot of cons for me personally. First, this curler is beautiful. Who would have thought a curling iron could be so pretty, I don't even mind leaving it on the counter. I love the swivel cord as it makes using the curler a lot easier and the bottom temp control is great! The barrel is super smooth so hair glides right through it easily. Unfortunately I could not get a good curl with this product. I tried multiple ways, dry and dirty hair, hair spray, no spray and even tries it on my daughters hair who has very thick hair. Personally my "curls" did not look like curls and even at the highest heat it took a very long time to get a single curl in my daughter's hair even when only pulling a small amount of hair. So although the features sound wonderful, it's a beautiful curler, and has potential, it did not work for me.

Stylish_makes soft curls

I do have other hair curlers too so I can make a clear difference if this really worth a try, since you are paying a good amount for this fancy and innovating looking styler.

As per the brand that its a masterstroke of styling, the SinglePass Curl 1" creates sensational spirals, defined curls and beautiful styles with just one pass. Powered by Digital T3 SinglePass technology and enhanced with a custom blend ceramic surface. The barrel maintains a consistent temperature to deliver smooth, long-lasting curls every time. It?s the effortless and flawless way to add bends.

Before you start using this styler, it is highly advised to go through the manual provided and visit their website as you would learn about how to operate this styler, no matter how pro you are in using the styling tools. The temperature setting is little tricky that you would learn by the manual and online video. I did not know how to switch it off before unplugging, which I learnt by a video in their website.

Good Things:

* Digital T3 SinglePass? Technology ensures even, consistent heat and fast, healthy styling

* 1 ?" custom blend ceramic clip barrel creates shiny, long-lasting polished curls

* Five adjustable heat settings (260?F ? 410?F) provide optimum heat level for any hair type

* Lightweight design for an effortless styling experience

* SmartTwist Dial to easily turn the tool on/off and regulate the temperature

* Auto world voltage for worldwide usage *

* One hour auto off

* Cool Tip & Stand enables easy, secure styling

* 9ft., 360? Swivel Cord prevents cord from getting tangled or twisted

My take: As this is a very good looking styler one would love to have, given it does the job effectively. Otherwise there are much cheaper stylers which do the styling very well at much less price tag.

I started with the second level temperature and it heated quite fast and temperature remained consistent throughout the styling process. The curling session took me a while as I have little long hair as well the curling was not coming out the way I wanted.

I tried to increase the temperature to next level however I realized its becoming too hot and could damage the hair, though it has a ceramic coating still I felt it could damage my hair. The curls turned out more softer than I expected and wanted, also they uncurled in couple of hours which is not impressive. I would recommend to use a styling hair spray to protect your hair from the heat and long lasting curling effect as that made a difference.

I am still not very much impressed with the curling it does, which is not optimum given so many good features. The curling is mostly soft and not long lasting as you get in other stylers in the same line. I expected the curls you get with the rollers as they give you deep curls when you need for a special occasion or event. If you like lightly curled hair and use you styler causally then you can go for this styler.

For me it can be a a go or no go for you, depending upon your expectations and requirements for curling.

undecided

I just recently switched from a babyliss wand that I've had for YEARS to this so I'm still in the process of learning how to use an actual curling iron. The first time I tried, I had the heat setting on 3 and for some reason the next day my hair felt really really strange. Like very dry and I couldn't even run my fingers through it. The only thing I did different was use my new curling iron so I thought maybe I just put the heat setting too high. I was way too scared to try it again so I thought about just trying to sell it and going back to my wand. Anyways a few weeks later I finally decided to give it another chance. I kept the heat setting on 2 and I think I finally learned how to use it correctly. I haven't had any issues with my hair feeling weird again so I'm assuming I just had the heat setting on too high. I think with more practice, I'll really start to like it. Overall it seems like it's a really high quality curling iron!

Too long to handle

I do love the t3 straightner so I purchased the curler but it was to large and long in my opinion. I tend to use my hand on the bottom of the tool and it would accidentally adjust the temperature as I was using. I know people that love this product and that is why I purchased but I did not love it. I have long hair

couldn't hold the curl

I love my T3 flat iron! I really wanted to love this curling iron but it fell short. I read so many reviews on how it doesn't hold a curl well but ignored them and purchased it regardless. Unfortunately, my experience was the same. I would like to emphasize that my hair holds curls very well and day long but this curling iron wouldn't hold it for more than 15 minutes. Disappointed.
