The Body Shop Argan Body Butter

This stuff is SUPER thick and the moisture is good, but after thoroughly rubbing it in, it always pills on my skin. It comes off in little crumbles every time I apply it. And the tub is not very sanitary.

Argan Oil was my absolute favorite scent body butter(it actually used to be Brazil nut, but it became Argan oil when they discontinued Brazil nut), but this new formula doesn't smell good to me at all. I dare say it almost stinks. I'm sad to say I will not buy it again, and currently don't have a scent I'm crazy for at TBS.

New Formula Is Even Better Than Before

The previous Argan scent was great - I had bought it when it was available, and I liked it a lot. But the previous Argan scent didn't smell anything like actual Argan oil to me. This new version actually does have a noticeable hint of real Argan scent in the best way possible - the scent is so warm and comforting. It's difficult to describe but I really love it. Definitely try some in store if you're on the fence. But the best thing about the new version is that 95% of the ingredients are natural now - that's a big difference from before. This makes a huge positive difference in how the body butter feels on my skin. A little goes a LOT further than before. The butter absorbs while I apply it and keeps my skin feeling moisturized despite the dry winter air. This is NOT the same product as before, and that's a good thing!

Lots of moisture

This product provided fantastic moisture and definitely left my skin nourished. The downside is the thickness of the product and how hard it was to rub into your skin. It should honestly come with a spatula or scooper to get the product out and onto your body. It also left behind an oily residue, which I understand happens when it comes to some body butters. But I couldn't help but feel if it was unscented, that it wouldn't have as much residue.

This product is good, but definitely prepare to let the body butter fully dry on your skin before sitting on any couches or putting on clothes.

Love This For Dry Skin

I am obsessed with this. I have used other body butters from The Body Shop but took a chance on this one because it was on sale and it is AMAZING for my dry skin. It does feel like it lasts more than 24 hours so if your skin is more oily, it might be too greasy for you but if you have super dry skin in the winter (or in general), give this a try.

Positive first experience with The Body Shop

While familiar with the brand, this was my first time trying one of their products! Super hydrating and felt nice to apply, I love when a body butter is smooth and not sticky or overly "wet" feeling! Personally the only dislike was the scent and that was just me.

Great product but the argan oil scent gave me a headache

The body shop body butter is definitely one of the best products in the market that intensely moisturizes my dry skin. The texture looks quite thick and soid but it metls very nicely once applied on skin. I was gifted the argan oil scent, and unfortunately, I couldn't stand the argan oil scent. It's sooooo strong and overpowering that give me a headache. Because of this I don't see myself using it very often.

Love the smell

This Argan Body Butter from the Body Shop smells amazing. It almost smells like an expensive perfume without being overpowering. It absorbs quickly into the skin so you don't have to worry about it rubbing off on your clothes. It's not greasy feeling at all. I have no complaints.

Amazing body butter!

This body butter is phenomenal! I wasn't sure what to expect but it's beyond phenomenal! It smells so amazing which is always a good thing. Plus it's not one of those keep having to re apply types of body butters. It's long lasting for an all day silly moisturized feeling & goes on so easily and nice and smooth. I am very very happy with this product and absolutely recommend!!

AMAZING

It's very thick which i thought was going to be a bad thing but it ended up being phenomenal. the product is very nourishing and left my skin feeling moisturized and rich and radiant. i would highly recommend this product
