Smells so dang good!
This lotion smells AH-MAY-ZING! It goes on smooth, light & conditions my skin VERY WELL! Again, the smell… YUM! Buying again!
I miss the old formula!!! This isn't a good change
You guys created the greatest lotion with old formula, and I noticed it was Made in Germany as opposed to the new formula. I don't care anything about the "vegan" direction, obviously vegan isnt always good. I'd pay more for the product just to have the old formula lotion. You literally tried to fix something that was never broken to begin with....Please get rid of this product and bring the old formula back. It's not even close to a 24 hour moisturizer, my skin doesn't stay smooth, my skin is dry by the end of the day. It doesn't apply well to the skin.
Not the same! Buyer beware
I'm so sad that they changed the formula for this. Used to be so nice and now it's a weird clumpy texture, not as moisturizing and the scent seems less appealing. I wish they could figure out how to make it vegan without ruining it. They didn't enough R&D to get this right. Don't waste your money.
Why change a good thing?
Very disappointed that they changed this product. The scent is weaker and the butter is too thick! Bring back the old formula or let people know that it's been changed!
So Very Sad About New Scent and Formula
The original British Rose was my signature scent. I'm hoping enough of us who are disappointed with the new formulas (on all scents) cause a sales drop because lets face it they won't bring the old formula back unless the bottom line takes a hit. Le sigh.
Disappointing New Formula
The British Rose used to be the only body cream that I used and I loved the natural smell of the rose, but they seem to have reformulated it recently and the new version smells like chemicals and nothing at all like rose. The quality is nowhere near where it used to be, it's now heavy without being moisturizing. I'm very disappointed in this purchase and have no intentions of buying it again.
Old version good, New version meh
I have been using the body shop British rose body butter for last 10 years, in India and in US. Nothing else worked on my skin and I loved the product so much. But they changed the formula and the fragrance. Old version was classy. The new formula is hard to scoop out and I am not enjoying it. Please bring back the old body butter. It was love.
Amazing
My favorite flower is the white rose. This smells just like fresh bouquet of roses. The formula did change to a thicker consistency buuuuut it last all day. I work in health care once I wash my hands I don't get the slimey feeling other lotions give. Great moisturizer for legs and body in general.
Changed
I never write reviews but the changes are so disappointing. The new cream doesn't smell or feel the same! After many years, it's time for me to say goodbye to The Body Shop. I loved this store since I was a little girl, ugh!
Why the change?
Why did you change the formula? It does not smell as "rosy" like before. The consistency also changed, not as silky as before.
